The sound of steel clashing on leather as a blade is drawn from sheathe rings through the cavern. Blank glances around the room, trying to find the enemy.
Damn! Stealth-equipped monsters... Best guess is a Skulltula, or maybe one of those grave-haunting bastards... Alpha, you three are good with Shadow magic, I assume, what with being Sheikah and all. Do you know Spell? You see what I'm getting at? Without the Cross that Link used to see the spirits, Spell's random effect may be able to step in as a replacement...
He hears a motion in the corner of the room and darts at the unseen foe, bringing his sword down into whatever may or may not be hiding in the corner.

As Blank brings his blade down upon where the monster made a noise, you hear a whisping sound. No doubt the monster barely escaped the tip of Blanks blade...

Alpha immediately springs forth, already preparing to follow Blank's suggestion. "Okay Blank, but be warned: I've never actually used Spell before. No telling what'll happen." THe Sheikah brings his hands together as if to pray, and a multitude of colored auras surrounded him. "Spell!" The Spell spell's auras seem to merge into one, and all three Sheikah await the final result...

A high pitched horrible shrieking sound was heard, as it echoed off the walls, and through the chooridors. A putrid purple liquid spewed into the air!! There was a deep silence, as the monster became visible, caked in its own blood... It has two Giant floating claws! Its head seemed to be at one with its body! I floated around screeching, until it lunged at Victor!

From the dark shadows and mists anything is possible. What is most probable is that some opportunist is waiting for that perfect moment of time and space to collide with gracefully applied pressure. As the beast passes charging Victor a black cloth circles the beasts head. As the cloth pulls tight a small knife plunges full on the back of the skull.

It screeched another ear ringing screech, and then silence... It appeared, and exploded into a cloud of black magic. A door appeared on the other side of the room. Great work team! Dogura said proudly. Lets proceed!

Blank congratulates The Lovers and Alpha on their excellent performance. He sheathes his sword and walks through the door. In the next room, he finds...

IC: As the groupe walks through the door, They come to another long torch lit hallway. But at the end there is a set of stairs with light pouring down them. Darkin ran to the foot of the stairs, and leaped for joy! YAHOO! He spreaded his wings, and took flight up the stairs. As the rest of the group nears the stairs they see clouds, and a bright sunny sky! Finally this godess forsaken tomb has come to an end! Says Dogura. They burst out into the bright crisp clean air. As you look around you see a small lake, and a whole lot of trees all around you. All of a sudden Darkin busts out of the water, and cheers, COME ON IN THE WATER IS FINE!! His face beaming! Oh its so nice in here! Take a dip guys! Its so refreshing! He says, as he dives back under the water...

Although happy that the Lovers had saved him in the end, Victor couldn't help but be dissapointed that he hadn't gotten his chance to shine. He kept this thought to himself, however, as the group began to file out of the room and into the new hallway.
But when he turned to follow the rest, Victor noticed something. In Ex's hand was his sword, which had been sheathed only a moment before. The bard also realized that Ex was standing in a loose fighting stance, as if he were jump a monster that hadn't yet become a threat. Putting two and two together, Victor slowly came to realize something.
"Ex was going to take that beast on himself. He didn't think I could do it."
As he neared the other man, Victor searched his face for any sign of doubt in the Bard's abilities. He saw none, only the confident smirk planted on the man's face. Deciding not to say anything, Victor played it cool and smiled at the newcomer, mouthing a thanks and then continuing on his way. Eventually, Victor began to force himself to believe that Eximius was merely readying himself to help Victor in the event that he couldn't take the monster on himself, not to step in and protect the Bard right away. Even so, the first thought remained at the back of Victor's mind.
However, the bright sun at the top of the stairs caused Victor's mood to lighten somewhat, and so this thought was soon forgotten, and the Bard quickly found himself next to the others, staring at Darkin in the water...
Eximius, meanwhile, wasted no time in shedding his tunic, armor, and boots, and getting into diving position. Though his face had the slightly tanned appearance of a Hylian, his exposed torso showed the greyish, pale skin underneath. Finalizing the man's race, a red eye bearing a tear was tatooed on his back.
Ex was a Sheikah.
Before anyone can get a closer look, however, Ex dived in, water splashing all over the others still standing on the shore...

As the three Sheikah exit from the darkness at long last, Shada immediately begins to jump for joy. "Alright! We finally made it out!"
Zaris simply leans against the exit and smiles as the young people begin playing around in the water, enjoying their freedom from the shadows. And it is no surprise to him to see Alpha standing off to the side of the group, rubbing his eyes in the bright sunlight, after having been without it for so long. 'We Sheikah are made for the shadows...it is no surprise that he would rather return to them instead of leave.' He chuckles slightly, and then notices Ex preparing to dive in. 'Hm? A Sheikah as well...? Well, can't say I'm surprised. You'd need Sheikah-like skills to be able to follow our group without our knowing it.' He nods in satisfaction and sits down to rest. 'Well, the more the merrier!'
None of the three choose to enter the water, but they do feel a similar satisfaction at having made it this far. And in Alpha's mind, one other thought emerges. 'When will we reach this tear in time?'

The water is cool and refreshing. Blank uses this time to wash the blood and ashes from his fall into the pit off of his clothing and face. But he dislikes water, so he reclines the event of swimming in the pool. Now clean once more, he stands waiting for Dogura to explain what the next course of action is to be.

Alright team. Listen up! I have read your minds, and I have picked up that you are all anxiouse to reach the said, tear in time. It cant be far by now. At least we are back into some fresh air again. In about an hour, we will continue fourth. For now, i would like everyone to rest up. We dont have any Idea what we are up against. i comment you for your bravery up to this point, and I expect no less until the mission is over. We will leave in one hour! Rest up! It will be a long walk... Dogura sat down in the shade of a tree, and began to rest...

Now knowing that he has some to waste before the adventurers continue on, Blank decides to get some sleep. Finding a small, rocky outcrop in the face of the rock walls, he nestles in as comfortably as possible and is soon drifting into silent slumber.
The warm breeze, coupled with the shade from his small shelter, helps him sleep so sound, he could swear he was in one of the beds at the Stock Pot Inn. Who would have ever thought laying on old dead leaves, insects and pebbles would be so satisfying?

At Dogura's announcement, Alpha nods and ventures into the shade of a nearby tree. He leaps up onto its branches, and quickly closes his eyes. Not to sleep, but to think. 'We could very well see our own futures...is that even possible? If we enter the future and learn that it is bad, and then come back to attempt to avoid that future, and then succeed, what will happen to what we saw? Will we have never seen it? Then what will we be fighting to change...
'Argh! I do not need to become a philosopher right now. All we need to worry about is finding a way to close the portal that does not involve destroying the space-time continuum...'
Shada and Zaris, on the other hand, deside to truly rest. Shada finds some shade beneath a different tree, while Zaris simply sits down on a patch of leaves and begins to meditate. A soft golden aura surrounds him; it seems he is attempting to regenerate some of his Goldforce Power's energy.
