"It wasn't. But it had to be done." the samurai said, sheathing his blades as the mist began to disapate, and a portal opened at the far end of the room.

"Looks like we've got one more room then. Lets go." Setzer said as he slid his sword into its scabard, and headed towards the newly opened portal. Kenji followed the Gambler, and spoke to Worru as he did. "Do not forget, these spirits cannot chose to fight or not. We must free all of these people by defeating the giant with the shape-shifting sword, Worru. If you must, focus your hate and rage at him, but do not allow it to cloud your mind. You will become a mighty swordsman someday, so let us keep going." the samurai said as they stopped before the portal.

Worru sighed. He understood that the spirits were controlled by the big guy. He understood that they had to destroy him so that the spirits could go free. Worru shut his eyes tight, remembering how the first spirit looked when they had defeated her, how his heart wrenched at they way she looked, how the fire in his belly had truely been lit. But, one thing that made him laugh was what Kenji said. Me, a great swordsman...This guy has been hit too many times in the head with those wooden swords of his. he thought with a smile, before stepping into the portal.

OoC: Kenji's swords are REAL, my friend...so be carefull or you'll get stabbed.

IC:
Kenji and Seter followed Worru through the portal. They apeared in the room of the three seals, but this time, only one seal was left, and the giant was back agian.

So...Maria was unable to kill you three...I have underestimted your skills....but the next will kill you all, mark my words, you foolish mortals
Setzer pointed at the giant. "Whats the deal? Sending the spirits of small girls at us?"

Kenji's hands rested on his sword hilts, ready to draw the blades at a moments notice.

"Don't talk to him Setzer. He's only here to impede us." said Worru, walking to the next seal. "You remember what this one is?" he asked them both, eyes glaring at the giant when they went over him. "C'mon, guys. We need to finish this."

The giant shruged and vanished in a cloud of black smoke.

"Dammit...I've got a bad feeling about this...Something isn't right..." Setzer said to Worru, his hand resting on the handle of his sheathed sword. "Darkness...the last one is darknes..." the Gambler said reluctantly as the spirit of Maria apeared before Worru.

Thanks for freeing me... Please make sure that you free the others as well. She said to him as she floated closer to him. And you. You've changed your mind since you've come here, haven't you cutie. Maria smiled at the shiekan as she put her hand on his shoulder. If only we could have meet before I had died...We could have been friends...*sigh*...I guess I should be going now...take care, brave fighters. Maria leaned closely to Worru and kissed him lightly on his forehead, and vanished. The group felt their strength slowly returning, just as it had when they had freed Sonia.

Kenji looked at Worru and nodded. "Go ahead and open the last portal. We must finish this." The samurai said somberly, looking away from Worru.

Worru kneeled down to the ground, silent for a short moment, as the fire in his belly grew even fiercer, as the determination he felt to kill the giant grew tenfold. Holding one arm out to collect the shadow energy needed, from the air around them, he shot it at the seal, making the portal form. "Time to go." he said, walking into it.

The Portal lead into nothingness. their seemed to be a floor beneath the three as the portal closed behind them. Although everything was black, they could see as if they stood outside in the city.

Kenji drew his swords as he started to walk forward. "We shouldn't stay still, It feels like someone is watching us from the other side of this darkness..." he said as Setzer followed, his sword and shield ready.

So...I must kill you three? HA! what a waste of my time...none of you seem to be very strong... A girl's voice echoed around them. It was sweet and hypnotizing, but her words didn't match her voice.

Worru sighed, as he closed his eyes, trying to think this strategy over. Most likely, the enemy here was weak to light, but something told him to lay off the magic at certain moments. Now opening his eyes to look round, he drew his own sword, just hoping that, this time, he would be able to defeat the giant after this.

Fufufufufu....acting all big and brave, aren't we? The voice said as the darkness receded, and collected around a girl standing several feet before the trio of swordsmen.


Her waist length hair shone brightly as she turned around to face the adventurers. She wore the shadows on her in the shape of a body-hugging dress. She leaned on her weapon; a large, black scythe. She didn't seem all that evil looking, and was rather attractive as she stood there.

Well well well. aren't you cute, little Sheikan. My name is Teresa....and your last opponent...Welcome to my little corner of hell.... she said, smiling. She winked at Worru and sighed. Why does daddy always send me cute little adventurers to kill? I'd rather keep you for my new plaything...the old ones died a year or two ago.... she seemed sad at that, and looked at Worru's draw sword. Oh...so you want to fight?

Worru took a moment after seeing their newest opponent. "Uhm...excuse me a moment." he said, before sheathing his sword, and turning around. He bit his knuckles, trying to calm himself down, before turning back, and drawing his sword once more. "Alright, guys, now we can get to it." he said, not running or dashing to attack, but instead opting to attack his opponent with an Elemental Burst, charged by the element of light.

As if by some odd twist of fate, Worru's magic was blocked by a wall of darkness. Fufufufu...don't try anything like that, my little friend...Magic doesn't work on me...even light magic is absorbed by my darkness. She said, wiggling her pinkie at Him. Now..its Q and A time...I'll answer your questions, if you be good...

OoC: Magic won't work in this fight...THATS your challenge.

Dang. With my leg the way it is, it'll be impossible for me to attack as fast as normal. He thought, almost ready to rip off the belt he had attached to his leg for...anatomical problems. But, as she finished, he sheathed his sword, thinking this would help him calm down. "Alright, then. We promise to be nice if you promise, and I mean, promise me that you stay away from me for the time being." he said, clearly enunciating that he wanted her to stay away from him.

I won't keep away...but I won't try to kill you. Teresa said, her scythe dissolving into a glob of shadows that slithered up her leg, and became a part of her dress. Now. Tell me why you three are here. she said, slowly walking towards them.

"We don't need to tell you anything, you monster." Setzer said loudly, his hand on his sword hilt and ready to draw his blade. "Do we even need a reason to be here, if something as evil as that giant is around? He needs to be destroyed, and we plan on doing that!"

Kenji looked at the Gambler, and shook his head. He stood there, his arms crossed as he watched Teresa walk towards them.

Monster? she said, looking hurt and raising her arms up as if she was shocked at Setzer's words. I'm not a monster! I'm a prisoner here...and you three will be too!

Worru looked at the two older men, with something of a glare. He walked up, rather stiffly, to stand inbetween them, reached up, and gave them both a hard knock on the head. "Morons, you don't call someone who's fighting against their will a monster." he said, sounding annoyed at them. Looking back at the girl, he gave her a small smile. "They're here to get the sword that the giant owns, while I'm here to free the children he has held captive." he said, sounding and looking sincere.

Kenji kicked Worru in the shin. "I said nothing like that, you idiot. If you must hit someone, hit Setzer, or I'll hit you..."

Setzer glared at Worru, then looked back at Teresa.

The sword? What sword are you talking about? She said, looking naive and confused. Oh...THAT sword. Alright. And Why are you trying to free us? Maybe some of us enjoy the way we are! Teresa said walking up to Worru. I'm not all that different from being normal. Unlike the others, I chose this. freeing me will only make me human again, and don't want that... she said, leaning close to Worru so she could whisper in his ear, and letting him get an eyeful of her chest.
