"Let's look at the door we're next to first," Rose replies.

Alex weights his odds carefully
"Now that I see it from a diferent angle, the less we leave a path of our actions, the less we'll be close to being noticed" Alex then felt guilty by taking the knifes from the kitchen 'I hope they don't notice'
"I say we go straight, Shada, althought Alpha could be every room we miss..."

OOC: Once again, no time to actually post 'till now.

IC: Though he had certainly been eager to progress further into the base, Victor had stayed quiet since gathering his things. After all, with Hakiems lurking in the next room, he would rather not speak at all than risk being heard. The others, however, didn't seem to be as worried as he was. When the decision of which path to follow came up, though, the Bard spoke his mind.

"Yeah, I think we should check through the door first, too. Doors were made for opening, after all. Let us see what's behind Door #1, shall we?"

Reaching for the knob, Victor opened the door a smidgen and looked inside, hoping against hope that there were no Hakiems inside...

Inside, Victor sees a small platform. It is about 15 square yards, and is surrounded by railing. Shada follows the bard through the door and glances inside before pulling back in revulsion. The platform overlooks a large room on the floor below. The room has a candle or two spread on the stone and dirt walls that immediately reminds everyone of their cells. On the same level as the door, but on the opposite wall, is a running waterfall filling a small pool on the lower level.

And on the dirt are some of the vilest creatures you've ever laid eyes on...and the source of Shada's discomfort. "Ahhh..." she says finally, as if about to throw up. "...Moreks. I hate Moreks!"

You can see the beasts below. At a single glance they would appear to be hounds, but a second glance is enough to cause this nausea Shada has. In multiple places, the dogs' skin has been torn away, revealing sharp bones beneath. Rows of spiked bones run along their backs, and two horns emerge where ears should be. The horns' position gives you the distinct feeling that they are part of the beasts' skulls. Sharp bones emerge from the knee joints and feet as well.

Even more numerous than exposed bones are gashes and scars, from which pours out a black, sticky-looking substance. The flow of goop continues, causing a pool to form wherever they stop. And they do not stop very often. It seems that the beasts are in constant pain, as if they are hurt by simply existing.

Rose quickly turns away from the sight. "Let's get out of here," she whispers, trying not to get sick.

OOC: Alpha, you're beginning to be just as bad as Blank. :?

IC: The gruesome sight of the dilapidated dogs horrified Victor beyond imagination, and no sooner had he layed eyes on the creatures than he turned away in disgust. He quickly exited the room and shot a serious look at the others.

"Never, EVER go in there."

Regaining his composure as best he could, the Bard looked over at the door across the hall. Despite the fact that the other room had held such a disgusting sight, he fell victim to his own curiousity and moved towards the other door, opening it in a similar manner and peaking inside...

Alex looks at the pain of the creatures and can't help being sorry for them
"Let's get out of here"
Then he debates himself about wich way to go
"Maybe if we kill the hakiems with a ranged weapon"
The he remembered 'But I have a boomerang'
He used his knife to look at the hakiems below, they didn't seemed to be paying atention to their surroundings
"Ok, here goes nothing..."
OOC:If nobody disagrees, I'll be the first to attack

OOC: Victor...I haven't had everybody attack you yet! You opened the door to the Moreks, sure, but that was your choice.

Oh, wait, are you talking about the Moreks? Well, if you'll recall, I once thought that compared to the Moreks, Meridel looks like a flower.

IC:
"No! What if you miss?" Shada asks quietly, yet forcefully, as she grabs the Zora's hand. She shakes her head sorrowfully. "No, there's no way we can risk it." Looking across the intersection, she nods her head in that direction. "I say we head over to the other side of this hallway and check out those other two doors. If we find nothing there, then we'll try out your ideas."

OOC: And Kasei, did you stop laughing from 'The Wishing Well' yet?

IC: Nogare appeared shortly after the bard. "Agreed. I just can't imagine who made this place. It's so... so eerie... so cruel. Whoever made it is definately one of a twisted mind." He thought a bit more. "And we thinjk we're in a bad situation; Alpha's in an even worse area, no doubt...." His eyes didn't look into any others'eyes; he could imagine...

Alex ashames out of himself by not thinking thinngs through
"I...I'm sorry, I guess I'm just nervous" he said remembering how his own home felt over him "You're the lider of the group, so now on I'll follow better your decisions"
he then went where Shada said, getting ready to attack any hakiem that could be on the other side

"It's no problem, Alex," Shada says reassuringly. "We're all a little on edge here. We just need to make sure that, no matter what happens, we think before we act. The moment we stop doing that is the moment we're captured again...and I don't think - in fact, I know we won't survive another imprisonment."

The Sheikah woman crosses the intersection as well. When everyone has made it across safely, she motions to the two doors. "I'll be the 'leader', if you guys want," she says jokingly, poking fun at Alex's earlier comment and trying to raise the mood of the group, "but I want a democracy. Which one do you think we should take."

A double door sits at the opposite end of the hallway, and the other door is on the right side. It is practically the mirror image of the other side of the hall.

"Let's take the door on the right side," Rose says.

Nogare speaks up, but still makes sure he isn't caught by it. "The left. It looks way safer."
