OOC: [FoG] Aftermath of the Event

Well, Force of Gold's Event, Depths of Darkness, has officially ended. I want to thank the sixteen other RPers who participated and supported all this .

However, before we move on to the next part (well, actually, I'm going to try and post it today regardless of whether or not we finish here), there are two matters that need to be taken care of:

First, the bad news. As was noted by MG a day or two ago, we're supposed to purchase ammo and bombs prior to the Event, and each arrow/seed/bomb costs 1 Rupee. Now, since I didn't really give anybody a chance to realize they would need that stuff - heck, I didn't even tell you guys it would be an Event - we aren't blaming anyone for this failure in procedure. Over the next few days, RG and I intend to go through all 1000+ posts and find out how many people used said items, tally up the amounts, and then send you a bill.

Secondly, the good stuff. Few people are aware of these facts, since we've never actually completed an Event before, but everyone who participates in an Event gains 1 TP. That's right; go ahead and add it to your profiles - you just got a TP. Now...we're unsure as to what exactly 'participates' should be defined as, so if you have any good input to make, please do so.

However, there's a chance you can get an additional TP: by winning the RPer of the Event award. This works just like the Monthly RPer deal, but I'm going to ask that we have four confirmations on a given person before it is awarded (mods/admins, feel free to comment on this if you think it's too much/too little). You can vote for anyone, including yourself. Including me, if you want. :D The voting is the main purpose for this topic, so go ahead and begin.

Those are the ones I'm aware of; mods, feel free to tell me if I've forgotten anything.

And now, I'm off to eat lunch. Be back in a few...

Hmm, well, I nominate myself for finishing off the Kroperg. Nah, I'll be humble. How about Nogare? He went around healing everyone during the Battle of the Pig.

As for the ammo, I used three arrows. Who do I send the rupees to?

OOC: Well, anyone who ever read the Rules Set should know about the TP acquisitions XD

It was a grand event; capping past 1000 replies is no small feat. (I thought 552 was impressive, but Wow!) Seeing how Force of Gold still has a long way yet to go (if I read correctly), I am as excited as always :) At least this Labour Day isn't as bland as I thought it'd be XD

Now, I'm unsure of the procedures of voting for an Event, so I'm going to guess that the GM of the event can't win their own award. So, sadly, I can't nominate Alpha.

So, for my nomination, here's to Arco. There was a lot of excellent role-playing going on from everyone, and yet I thought Weien's seemed to cap most of it (despite how glorious some of you guys can write). Yes, I cast my Force of Gold III nomination to Arco. Consistent intelligence, humour and surprises are what fuel this vote :)

Look, everyone! It's that lazy old fool, Victor! :P

Hey everyone. Sorry for not being around for most all of the event. I hate myself for not taking part in most of it, not to mention not being able to keep up with it for the past few weeks. I've got a long read ahead of me...

Anyways, I don't know how you guys do it. I've been swamped with homework, and yet most of you have been posting up the wazoo! I envy you all.

Regardless, I feel the need to vote for Arco as well. Honestly, I almost feel like he took my place in the event. I mean, here's a guy who's been absent from HA2 for such a long time, and he comes back just as I'm forced to take a minor leave of absence myself. So, yeah, I'm happy that Arco was there to enjoy it, even though I wasn't. After all, we Bards have to watch out for each other, eh?

Oh, and I think I'll have to do some serious... uh, well, thinking before I do any signing up for the next FoG, whenever that may be. School's been tough, and I might not be able to take part... though a fresh start is always nice. Oh well, we'll just have to see.

Okay, I'm Hi no Seijin, a male. Rose is my character. What's so hard about that?

To kamakaziplumber, I put off my homework until the last minute. And then it's some hurried piece of crap that somehow still get a good grade on it some of the time.

Well, I dont know why anyone would be greedy enough to vote for themselves. It seems kinda underhanded. I nominate... hmmm.. its tough to say. Everyone demonstrated exelent RPing. Ill have to go with Hi no Seijin. I say so because he was there for the whole thing, and although many people were, im for the common man, and he could use a TP. I normally dont use exquisit detail like in FoG, but in Dogura's upcomming Dungeon "Temple of the Damned" Im am going to RP my heart out, just as much, hopefully better than I did in FoG. Well once again, I nominate Hi no seijin, and im scrapping the project i started here in the north, because im not getting enough participation. The dungeon will open when the south does, and i hope to see you there. Good job Rose. :D

If no one else comes, can we all vote again?
