Ok here is where you can ask questions about Hyrule Adventures. Don't how to do something? Just ask it here and we will try to answer as best as possible. Before asking a question though, make sure to look at the Rules first please.
Edit: 2/6/06
All questions will now be directed to the <a href="http://desertcolossus.com/adventures/vi ... f=239">New Member Forum</a>.

If someone is lucky enough to find the megaton hammer is it restricted to certain classes or is it a quest item?

The Megaton Hammer will most likely be a quest item used to advance the storyline. It is doubt full that it will be a actually weapon for someone, like the Bombos Medallion was in the first HA.

It weill actually be an actual weapon, but it will be Epic quality and will have heavy restrictions to offset its amazing power.

No guilds. The Factions that we have are similar to guilds, only they are run by NPCs. There are three Factions, the good, the bad, and the greedy. Here is some official information on them from the
Rules Set:
THE FACTIONS
In Hyrule, there are three groups that coexist, each with their own objectives and own goals for the future of the Kingdom. They are as follows:
Hylian Knights—Those who loyally serve the King and Royal Family by serving as freelance members of the Royal military. Their home territory is Hyrule Field. To be a Hylian knight one must be either Order or Neutral-aligned.
Blind’s Gang—A group of cut-throat vagabonds, mercenaries, and other unsavory folks. The
follow Blind, a vicious magic thief, as their leader. They seek to defeat Ganon’s hordes only to make a more profitable “business” environment. Must be a Chaos Mage, Neutral or Chaos Vagabond, or Neutral or Chaos Grunt to join. Their home territory is Ruto Mountains.
The Exiles—Those that were either evilly-aligned or served Ganon (and later reformed) during
the war before and after Hyrule Adventures I. They are looked down upon by most Hyrulians. Their home territory is Parapa Desert. They serve no leader, but are rather a loose-union of outcasts. Must be Chaos to join.
FACTIONS & BENEFITS
Each faction has a “home territory” and specifically a city where representatives of their ranks can be found. For the Hylian Knights, one can look up Captain Collonius in North Castle for enlistment. To join Blind’s Gang, an enterprising bloke must uncover Dran in Ruto Town to learn how one can properly be initiated into the gang. As for the Exiles, one must simply trek to Parapa Desert and down the coast to the Ruined Lighthouse where Grug Lugford the Moblin is waiting for now recruits.
As for the purpose of factions, by joining one a character gains all the benefits of enrollment: including +1 to all stats when fighting inside a faction’s home territory and access to exclusive items only sold to faction members.

You need to use that compass at the NE corner of the picture of where you are.

Yup.Also,Mark, you should know this by now but:all areas south of Rauru Town, and also the way to Mido Town, are currently blocked by boulders. The North-South Passageway, sorta like a back-up route to Moruge Swamp(beyond Rauru, links to Midoro Swamp and Saria Town,if you checked the map),is also currently closed down.
