OOC: This is an offshoot topic of "A man in the streets"

IC: "The streets have been awefully deserted since the king's announcement. Are they all scared of the war that is about to take place?" Dogura took another big gulp of his Lon Lon Milk. It was a cool, and gloomy morning, and the sun was completely shut out by the gray clouds. It would rain soon. The smaurai had been sipping at Lon Lon milk with a friend, discussing the upcomming war.

"If the rumors are to be believed, then being scared isn't an option. They'll all be fighting and defending the castle; men, women, and children all," his companion says with more than a simple trace of disgust. Alpha lifts his own glass of Lon Lon Milk up to his lips and takes another desired mouthful from the container. Glancing at it, he is pleasantly surprised that he has taken enough such sips from the glass that it is currently twice as big as it needs to be.

"I still have a difficult time believing what my own two ears heard from the King. It's even harder to think that people haven't already started openly rebelling since his plan was announced." Another sip. "Well, I guess we'll just have to be ready to do what needs to be done when the time comes." He looks up at the dark morning, seemingly symbolic of the darkness of the war that is approaching. A shudder runs through his body at the thought.
