Hyrule Adventures 2

~Carved into the large rock face is a tremendous stone figure. At the foot of the statue is a small well, the entrance to an ancient set of catacombs. The catacombs are now home to a group of chaotic gorons theives and mercenaries, who live in the dark shadows of the underground. These crypts might now be dangerous, and you might not leave with your life, rumors of treasure, and even greater evils than theives, surround the mysterious orgin of this temple. A small tablet is in front of the well. Into the tablet is carved the words: "Those who would go forth into the earth, be wary."~

"Hmmm, so like a great time to me! I'll go down into the temple." An with that Shadow decended into the catacombs.

~A single rope ladder desended into the well. It was strangly silent, and dark at the bottom of the well, and not even drops of water could be heard. The well had a small passage at its bottom. This led into a large room, where two torches were mounted on the far walls. There are doors leading into darkness to the left and right, and directly ahead of the entrance is a wall. This wall has slots cut into it, where coffins are placed, and bones can be seen protruding from these cranies. There are many cobwebs, and much dust, but footprints can be seen on the floor, between the two doors, and the bottom of the well.~

With sword in hand, Shadow took one of the torches and followed the footsteps. "hmm, someone must be down here already. I'll go see who it is." Shadow said as he descended into the darkness.

Through the door, is another passage thta turned, and split like a maze. In the passage, grumbling low voices speaking in a strange language (goronic) can be heard. In one straight part of the passage, torch light floods the end of the tunnel, and many footsteps can be heard steadly approching.

Someone's heading this way!" Shadow said as he readied his sword. The footstep became louder until a figure finally appeared.

OOC: Get some wepons. it will help

(OOC got myself a deku sword, so now i'm ready.)

Shadow turned around facing Link. "oh hey there Link, quess you heard about this temple. I heard there's treasure down here. want to join me in this little quest?"

"Shure". says link."here.Use this. its my bow and Quwiver." Tosses Bow and quwiver

~As link909 arms Shadow, two rogue gorons turn the corner. They both hold wickedly sharp axes, and torches. They are talking to each other, and laughing, when they look up and see the two intruders.~

First Goron in Goronic: "Hey what are you two doing down here. Get um Raiz!"

~The two goron charge forward.~

"Yike!" Shadow said as he parried the charging gorons. He then cocked an arrow and hit one of the gorons in the shoulders.

~The Goron raised his axe blade, intercepting the missle before it struck, and snarled lashing out at Shadow. He could tell that the young traveller was relatively inexperienced, and used the pure aggresion of his stroke, instead of cunning.~

Shadow just barely dodge the attack with a wound on the leg. " Ooow damn it, that hurt!" Shadow then ran and jumped at the goron striking with his sword.

~The goron was not expecting the swift counterattack, and watched in awe as the blade severed his shoulder, almost cutting off his arm. He yelped in pain, falling backwards, and scrabling back down the corridor to fetch reinforcements. The other goron saw what had happened to his friend, threw his torch in the intruders general direction, and ran after him. He wasn't about to take any chances with these adventurers.~

"great what are we going to do? They're bringing reinforcements. I hope you have a plan of action Link." Shadow said to Link.
