OOC: At long last, I finally am able to help newbies! It's finally time for me to point out that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I need to help newbies, weither you like it or not . :P. So, I don't want to pick on anyone, but there is some RPing that could be better. I'm the guy to help you! And don't feel guilty to post, because it's better to learn to RP well instead of not RPing well. So, you ask, I answer. If you just need help, post! I'm waiting for your answer...n

IC: The teacher at North Castle's Funday School looks at you as you enter the school house. "Why hello there! Do you want to join our class? Today's lesson is learning to be a good Role Player! You can possibly get RP bonuces in events if you do well enough! Come on! Sit down!" There are a number of empty desks. The children glare at you... you are far older than them all......

Sovelis sits in a desk that is DEFENATELY to small for him. "this is so embaresing..." he mumbled.

"Ah yes! Welcome! I'm glad you've joined our class :D." A few kids adjust their desks so they are not facing Sovelis.

"Now! In good Role Playing, there are several solutions...

"First is, knowing how to spell things :D. Spelling is very useful when it comes tro writing and Role Playing. For example, when you say, 'god bi', what comes into your head right away? 'God Bee', possibly? What I was saying was 'Good Bye'. This can really come in handy, so your readers are not confused.

"Another thing is punctuation :D! An example where this comes in is, 'how many dudes are there. if I have to kill them I want a weapon thats not made of plastic.' Some things that ca be corrected are a) The capitalization, b) The question mark at the end of the first sentence. c) The missing comma in the second sentence, and the apostrafy in the word 'that's' :D.

"And another very important thing in the world of Hyrule Adventure Two is 'Quality, not Quantity'. Many people randomly post in topics, and hardly understand what was happening. So, some advice would be, ask yourself these questions...
-What could this person be planning in this topic?
-Could I ruin it by posting here?
-Was this intended for someone other than myself?
-Would posting here make my story more confusing, or make it better?

"And also, if you want to write very well, an idea is to use a thesaurus. The author of Nogare does this often (), to use more interesting vocabulary.

The teacher looks around in the classroom. "Is everyone awake so far?"

Is it True
Is it Helpful
Is it Important
Is it Necesary
Is it K(somthing startin with K, but you get the idea)
This should help you too, so THINK before you post!!

OoC: Um...Spelling is a hard one on me, since I have one hand, I sometimes hit the wrong key on my keyboard, Savy?(hehehe)

IC: "Yes." he says quietly.

OoC: you never said if the teacher is a man or woman.

Link asks" can i practise my sword play out side?"

"Why of course you can, sir!" smiles the teacher to Link.

She looks back to the children. "Now! Here is one of the best lessons you will ever learn; Quality, not Quantity! A lot of RPers tend to write a lot, but it has not quality at all, with all due respect. This is what people call SPAM. Although they may not be pointless, or stupid, they may be too short. Like, instead of saying, "Thanks.", say, "Thank you sir. I accept this weapon with honor." I bow my head in respect to the man that presented me the blade, and held it, ready for what was to come. Eh? Eh? Pretty good, don't you think? For soldiers, if they don't stand a chance, they will need to do as good as they can, and if they do a good job in RPing, they may get an RP bonus, which can increase the chance of striking a foe. Sorry to be so graphic children, but you'd may as well learn it sooner than later. War is coming to Hyrule, and you'd may as well get used to hearing about graphic things :P.

"Now, children, let me hear how you do. I'll give you a setting, and you reply, giving me good RPing...

" 'Draw your weapon! At my command, we ride to our foes!' "

Is it K(somthing startin with K, but you get the idea)
I think "Kreative" is what you're looking for, Mikaudes! ^^ It's good for RPing to be true/helpful/necessary, but having a big dose of interest and fun is a definite must! Sugar to swallow the medicine down.

Um, Nogare... have you spell-checked your posts lately? That very quote, an exhortation on good spelling, contains, well...

Gotta be extra careful when helping newcomers  .

OOC: Hehe, no problem... after all, who watches the watchers, and who watches them?

Anyway, I might recommend Firefox 2 (which auto-spell checks everything you type) or at least Google toolbar for all your HA spellcheck needs ^^.

Hey, Spawn! Wazzap! :P

Okay, click on the Rules Set to your right, just above Farore's Wind. Drag the thing about half way down. After that, you can buy everything from Weapon Trains to Stat Boosts, to Abilities to songs to spells! :D. Be sure to use them very wisely, all that can be used to the most of your advantage.

Hah! Beat ya to it, Alpha! :P
