The Ornery Cucco is a free for all chat forum. Rupees are turned off, so posts here will not net you money. However, this means that off-topic or OOC posts are therefore legal.

Be courteous, kind, respectful, and above all, don't touch the bartender's wife!

Thanks for setting this up, Narrator... you know that what we adventurers always hanker for is a good Tav.

One request, though--any chance of putting a "Traveling within the Castle" thread here, like the Hostel (among other places) has?

And Hiro... respectfully, might I recommend you to watch your posts? Posts that are only a sentence long--particularly if they're less than five words (and particularly if they're not particularly respectful words)--tend to be mysteriously deleted if the mysterious deleter feels that the poster in question ought to know better.

Exceptions to this guideline would be, for example, inherently funny posts that are especially funny if they're snappy and three words long. Most people can't pull of this kind of humor.

So is this the no ruppe place where we can battle?

Actually... that's the odd thing about it. We do in fact get rupees (as well as exp) for posts here at the Ornery Cuckoo--at least, I do.

But as far as battling, I think that the Arena--which we can probably expect once South Hyrule (with the Old South Road) is opened up--is where the fighting will most likely commence and be concentrated.

I don't see a problem with a good old-fashioned tavern brawl--via roleplay as opposed to dice ands stats--here at the OC Tav, though. ^^ I'd say just keep it smart (unleash the awesome writing!), open-ended for your opponent(s), and without too much of a ruckus (e.g. don't trash the place). After all, some of you guys are doing a bit of combat activity over in the training cave east'ard, so there shouldn't be too much of a difference here.
