This is in response to some "better RPgers" telling "worse RPGers" how to improve...I myself have been being attacked by characters like HNS, who think their perfect RPers, just to let you all know, thier not, everyone has their flaws(I myself have many). just a word of encouragment, like I said in the title, don't, please, don't give in to peer pressure, other people shouldn't affect the way you RP, especially if you comftorable with the way you do it, tell your story your own way!

for example, aurelio, or however ya spell his name, writes in first person, when noermally the rest of us write in third. He seems pretty comftorable with the way he Rpes, an he likes it!

another thing, some people have been getting on others for their spelling, a lot. not everyone can spell perfectly, ya know! not everyone has an english major! and just because ya THINK your helping people out, you might actually be doing them emotional dammage, making them hate you, and thereby making you one potenial freind down, it makes ya look lame when ya demean someone else, it also means your afraid of your own flaws in life...

Im not saying i'm some kind of doctor, couse i'm only fifteen, i'm just trying to help people deal with the supposed perfect Rpgers, who, in their own way, are trying to help others, no matter how obnoxious they seem...

A word of parting, Yes, I have recently givewn in to peer pressure, but thanks to a certain someone, I have decided its better to like myself and play crappily, than not like myself and give in to the way others think...

oh, just in: a certain freind of mine just Pmed me, stating, with quotes, how a supposed better Rper treats others behind the scenes, with quite a bit of language. this topic is in reply to that, as well. that person may in fact leave HA2 soon, because of the better RPger yelling at them for no real reason...I just got a message for you all, and you know who you are when I say this: stop messing with other peoples minds! thanks to the better RPgers, some of my favorite freinds on this site arew now either gone, or leaving in a hurry! back on topic, as I said before, don't give in to peer pressure, and try your best to ignore the "better RPgers" when they yell at you through PMs...

And now, I leave this topic open to any rant the better RPgers think they got, 'couse I sure as heck really don't care anymore!

PS: I think i'm over my anger with alpha, but i'm not sure yet..

PSS: sorry for posting rose's name, but I couldn't really find any other examples of people who go out of their way to tick me off...

First off, nice new avatar and thing in your signature. It's really cool.

Second off, I couldn't have said it better. If you look down upon me for sticking up for Kasei and the other spammers, I'm now Kirby, and I suck up a bad guy and spit him right back at ya; in other words, look at yourself. Shouldn't you be looked down upon by looking down upon others? In my opinion, you should be. I don't want to single out names, because that will just make people mad. And those who do look down upon spammers, like Kasei said, don't give them feedback. I'm a person who like feedback, but some spammers aren't. As far as I can see, and have seen before I left, is that they've improved. You only see how they haven't, and to me, that is a bit too pessimistic; they have improved. Look at Kasei; day one and for a little while, he would make one word posts, and all that. Now, he is making decently sized posts, and heck, look at his story! They've always been great! I'm sure a lot of you haven't read them, but they are good! This whole thing with Kairos and Kasei, that I took part in was a blast to read, despite the spelling errors and mistakes. But don't we all make mistakes? It's still readable. They don't use u as you and r are are anymore for sure. And isn't it right to respect others? I used to be disrespectful to HNS, I know, and I've grown up and changed it instantly. Once I was asked to put down that insulting picture of Tingle (which I know I had up for far too long and I knew it pissed him off), I did. We've all been asked by them to back off, because it's their stories, and they can do whatever they want with it. This is an example of minor Cyber Bullying. There aren't any threats or anything, but what is a bully?
Well let's see. (Pulls out dictionary.) Akem.... "Bully - an aggressive person who intimidates or mistreats weaker people." I think that sums it up right there. Are you a bully?

I understand your plight. I know that it always seems like someone better is trying to put you down. However, try to understand others' problems as well. We all make mistakes. You should see my first posts here. I was exactly where you were. I got a little better. I was right where you are now. What I mean is, sometimes they're not attacking you. Don't you think they're trying to help you? Of course you will make mistakes! Everybody does! But please. Try to fix them! At least work on spelling. <a href=http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/>Firefox 2.0+</a> has a spell checker you can use, just like MS Word's. The reason that we want everyone to RP well, is because we like seeing good writers around here. It makes things very interesting. Kasei, I understand you have a very good story. It would get a lot more views if you worked a little on spelling and the like. I'm not saying you're a bad RPer. I'm just saying I'd like to see people like you improve. Bottom line is, I'm not attacking you, but you can do better.

How do I tell whether or not I have that version of FireFox?

Wow, I've been noticed by the elite. I feel all warm inside now. On a more serious note though, I agree with you. Not everyone has great literature skills, and everyone has their own style. I was starting to write in 3rd peson for everybody elses sake, but you have inspired me not to care what other people think (about my style) just because I'm a noob and feel overwelmed by senior RPGers. Thanks.

Look, nobody here hates anybody. Getting in arguments and hating over something as stupid as that is pathetic. Instead of whining about how people ask you to do better, why not try doing better?

In no way was I trying to insult you. If it came across that way, I'm sorry. I don't like insulting people. It goes against my nature. All I am trying to say is that a lot of people, not just you, have been around for quite some time, and need to try to do a little better. Of course you can read past spelling mistakes, and grammar is hard, but fixing your mistakes makes your story that much better. I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to improve themselves. But maybe that's just me. Maybe not everyone wants to get better at some things. I don't know. I'm not saying you're bad at RPing, Kasei, I'm saying you could do better. We could all do better. Hell, I can do better. But the point is, you, and others, have been around for a while, and honestly, I think you can do better than you are doing now.

Honestly, I don't know what your problem with HNS is, because I don't know what he has said to you, so I don't think I can comment on that.

If it still seems like I'm trying to be mean, I'm not. Everything I have written was meant to be read with a soft voice, if that helps any. Sorry if I come across as mean.
