A small ring had been hastily made from boards and rope. " Ladies and Gentalmen, Hylians and Humans alike! I, Dentol, bring you, The fights! For those of you who are to timid to fight in the grand tournement, I Will be pitting my Award winning fighters agianst anything you Fair people can send their way!" Said a small man in a white robe. His face was cleanly shaved exept for his goatee. The hair on his head was as black as a raven's feather. He pointed to a sigh.

"Do I have any takers?" Dentol said as the people in the stands yelled to see the fighting start.

Saber entered the Courtyard, walking briskly towards the inn, where he was to meet with an employer. However, a loud sound caught his attention. Cheering? He looked over and saw a small crowd gathering, and a proffesional-looking man was shouting about some kind of contest. Not only a contest, but a contset with a hefty prize...He sighed. The employer can wait. He walked up to the crowd and shouted "I'm in!" Waving a yellow rupee above his head.

"Well! We have our fist contestant! Whats your name son?" Dentol said as he took Saber's rupee and stashed it in his wallet. "For our first Fighter, you'll fight...um... Soven!"

Saber nodded and stepped into the ring, drawing his saber and taking his sheath in the other hand to use as a shield. He looked around, but saw his opponent nowhere. They better hurry, I don't want to make the customer wait too long...He thought anxiously as he continued to survey the crowd for anyone with weapons.

Out of nowhere, a large and muscular man apeared. "I AM SOVEN. I WILL CRUSH YOU BOY!" he said in a booming voice as he drew a short sword from his sheath and raised his shield "I WILL NOT HOLD BACK ON YOU!!!" he said as he rushed Saber and slashed at Saber (5+0+3+roll:15) The man's attack didn't hit Saber at all.(19+3+roll:16) Soven looked and saw his sword missed the boy. "Eh?" he looked perplexed. "YOU HARD TO HIT"

Saber just stood still in shock as the large man charged him. He missed him--which was rather amazing, as he hadn't moved at all. This man really had no skill...Saber didn't waste the chance, rolling to the man's blind side and coming up swinging, aiming his saber straight for the man's elbow.

Saber's sword wistled through the air at Soven's arm, (3+5+2+roll:1) but Soven blocked it easily with his shield(18+3) "HA! YOU ARE HARD TO HIT! BUT YOU DON'T HIT HARD!" he boomed as he slashed at Saber. (4+5+roll:14) Saber seemed to try and Block, but the reverberation from his sword hitting a shield did't help.(19+3) Saber felt the wind from Soven's sword in his hair as he was nicked for 2 damage!

Saber: 39HP
Soven: 35HP

Saber winced as the sword clipped him on the shoulder--he just wasn't fast enough that time. He couldn't believe he didn't make contact...oh well. He jumped on the man's back and flipped, taking some powder out of a satchel on his belt. He held the powder between his fingers and snapped, creating a small ball of fire. He hurled it at the man just before landing on the ground. (Fire)

Soven tried to block the fire (roll:19) But he wasn't able to resist Saber's power (lvl 7+1+INT 4) Soven was burnt for 12 Damage."Urg! he grumbled as he was hit. "YOUR GOOD!" he said as he got up and Charged Saber agian with his sword (4+5+roll:14) and he hit Saber! (19+3) Saber was knocked back as he was hurt.(9DMG) "HA HA HA!!! SO I CAN HIT YOU AFTER ALL!!!" Soven yelled as he stood, ready for more.

Saber smirked from his crouched position as the flames engulfed his foe. However, the bright flames made it hard to see the retaliation, and he was caught off guard at Soven's counterattack. He tried to pull away, but the sword still dug into him, and he grunted. He went back on the offensive, charging and twirling his sword above his head to build up momentum and distract Soven from his real intention--He swung the sword down low at the last second, hoping to slam it into his leg or midsection.

Saber's sword came crashing through Soven's guard [ (3+5+2+roll:17) vs.(18+3) ] And Soven was Knocked off his feet. "HA! SO YOU CAN HIT HARD AFTER ALL BOY!" he roared from the ground as he slashed at Saber's legs. (5+4+roll:19) Saber couldn't dodges as he was knocked over as well (19+4) and onto the ground.(9 DMG)

Soven: 13 HP
Saber: 21 HP-2 SPI

Saber rolled up from the ground and danced backwards to catch his breath. He had this guy...he just had to keep it up...He charged his adversary again, and feinted a downward stab before spinning around and slashing horizontally--The Relic maneuver.

Soven wasn't a fool, he quickly got up and atempted to parry his foe's attack(18+3). Saber's sword yet agian struck at Soven with brutal force (3+5+2+roll:14) and slipped past his foes shield, knocking him backwards.(10 Dmg.) Soven almost fell over from the sheer strength of Saber's blow. "I-I AM ALMOST DONE, BUT NOT YET! I STILL HAVE ENOUGH FOR ONE STRIKE!" he roared as he charged Saber and lunged.[ (5+4+Roll:13) vs. (19+4) ] But he missed compleatly! Saber was to agile and Soven to tired for the blow to conect.

Saber smirked as he struck home yet again. The bulky swordsman couldn't compete with a more skillful warrior such as himself. He quickly sidestepped the retaliation and swung his sword downward at the passing body. He couldn't miss. (willpower=9)

Soven atempted to block Saber's blow [ (18+3) vs. (3+5+2+9+roll:9) ] and he fell to Saber's sword. "HA! I ..lost.." he said as he fell. "WE HAVE A WINNER!!!" Shouted Dentol aqs he held up Saber's hand as best as he could. "I give you...SABERTACHE!!! YOUR WINNER!" he screamed as the crowd went wild. Claping and screaming, they all chanted-SABER! SABER! SABER! "Here's your money kid. See ya soon, I hope. Your a real crowd pleaser!" Dentol said as he handed Saber two purple rupees. ( OoC:I'll send them to you.)
