THe endless ammounts of sand shift up and down every day, these sands are prone to hide important items-orin this case, villiages-from the rest of the world. Kasei takes some steps forward to avoid getting his feet stuck in the sand. Surrounding him were ten small buildings in a circle, with a rather large, still flowing well in the center. This spot brings many sad memmories to Kasei, as this was once his childhood home, the aincent villiage Boshoku, or Dusk Villiage. Kasei walks over to the well, and remembers how the younge children would always sit around, telling each other its legend, of how it was an eternal well, and that it was a sign of hope to the trap-masters of the villiage. Really, that was all this town was, a bunch of trap creators who worked on the tombs of the royal family. At least they were, until the dark day, almost a hundred years ago;

The gargantuan hound rose its head out of the sand. Even now, as it appeared defeated, it had energy left to fight. "What is this demon?" A neighbor of Kasei yells, throwing a bomb at the beast, wich had resisted all attacks. "Aria, take zephie and leave this place, the other men and I shall hold the beast off!" Kasei said to his wife. IT happened so fast; the beast appeared from the east, flames pouring from its mouth as it started its assault on the villiage. It attacked for no reason, and killed most of the inhabitants. "Alright, you think you can defeat us?" Kasei boasted, launching a giant fireball at the beast, wich proved innafective, as the creature sent out a wave of energy to kill the last survivors. Aria and Zephie ducked behind Kasei, who cast dispel in his emediate area, though the beam still took its toll on the other villiagers, as they were all now dead, except for an injured Aria, an unconcious Zephie, and an enraged Kasei, who summoned to his side a large zanbato, and jumped onto the beasts head, performing a thousand cries of the underworld to kill the demon that had ended his peacfull life. It was too late, however, almost everyone was dead, and Aria was dying. Kasei rushed over to his wive, and held her in his arms. Aria looked up at Kasei, who was crying. "Don't go" She said.

A tear escaped Kasei as he remembered how his beloved wife died. The beast that attacked the villiage was later confirmed to be a dog demon, who loved nothing more than killing. Kasei snapped out of his memory, and started his way to the well, wich still had a large ammount of fresh, clean water in it. The mercinary took out his canteen, and scooped enough water in it to last the journey to North Castle. The shiekah warrior heard a sound in the sand behind him, and turned around, drawing his scimitar. "Who goes there?" He dammands, tears still on his face.

"Don't point that weapon at me," stated the figure who was emerging from the shadows. Three other figures followed behind(I know you said only Bou and Orph, but just go with it). The main figure was dressed in a cloak, sandals, and a Terminia watch. It was Orpheous. Behind him, Bou was dressed in a hooded cloak, boots, and a cape. Simon was dressed in similar clothes as Orpheous, and Matt Wittherson wore a dirty black t-shirt, and black jeans. "What are you doing all the way out here?" Orpheous asked. "If it makes a difference, we were heading to Tantari Rock to investigate a crime scene(the tomb)."

Sovelis had followed Bou, Orpheous, Charlie, and the fellow he hadn't meat before. He silently walked up to the group, not speaking. His hood kept the sun off of his face, hiding it in shadows, even in this bright place. The dull red cloak looked like it would need to be replaced soon.

Kasei's eyes narrowed as the others approached, he continued to cry. "This is the villiage I hail from, though now it is long forgotten, the people who lived here built traps for royal tombs. I guess noone really knows about us, after all, our villiage was destroyed a hundred years ago." Kasei said as he cried even more. The mercinary put away his scimitar, and turned back to the well, wich had water as clear as day.

"This can't be," stated Orpheous. "You don't look a day over twenty-five." Orpheous tried to be as sensitive as possible about this statement, he didn't want Kasei to cry any more than he already was. He looked so full of sorrow.

Kasei looked over at Orpheous, a very sad smile on his face. "es, I look very young, but a little secret; after my villiage was destroyed, the Fierce Diety gifted me with the power to suck out an opponents life-force, prolonging my life by how much life force I sucked out, and keeping me eternaly young. In truth, I only am as good as I am now because of my age. When I was younger, I was once condsidered the weakest in my villiage. Even now, with all the power I have attained, the next generation of adventurers surpasses me with skills and powers I could never hope to attain." Kasei said, tears still rolling from his eyes.

"I see," said Orpheous. He looked the village over, and realized that it must have been a successful place, "What led to its demise?" he asked not hoping for any more waterworks.

OOC: Link Between the Worlds, big enough clue, Kasei.

OOC: What now?

IC: Kasei looked Orpheous over, then nodded his head, as though confirming something. "It was destroyed my my grandfather, who had taken the form of a giant hound. Realy, I don't know why he attacked us, but its too late now." Kasei said, a single tear rolling down his cheek.

The group of four stated they were sorry, but each in a different way. Orpheous reached into his orb were he kept his items. He took out an amulet, the string that allowed it to be slipped on the neck was a hair from a griffin's mane. It was strong enough to hold the gold medallion that had indented lines that formed a the symbol of Zega Moon, a crescent moon that opened to the bottom left. A star made of 8 lines(one vertical line, one horizontal line that goes through the middle of the vertical line, and two diagonal lines that go through the center of the vertical line as well, at a 45 degree anger) was near the very edge of the bottom left. "It works as a ability buffer, your strength, agility, defense, intellect, and spirit by a little(1 each), and your health and magic points well be raised by alot(10 each)," explained Orpheous.

OOC: One west of Ruto town, we(Azador and Nogare as well) need to get that wrapped up.

"Kasei. I know what kind of pain you feel. I to have no home to return to. (The Alternate Kasei would know this. When is he gonna show up....I miss him. ) If it heals your wounds any, try and hold onto what you still have left. You have your granddaughter, you have friends who will help you, but most importantly, you are still alive. I know someone who said something very wise for a person his age. 'You've got a strong pair of legs. get up and use them, find your own path...' Didn't you strive all these years? Did you allow the pain to slow you down?" Sovelis said, his right hand on his left shoulder. "It took me years to recover from the surgery that gave me this arm. I pushed through the pain. It made me stronger. I know you've done the same Kasei. Just don't give up yet." the Tempest stoped speaking ad he walked over to Kasei and put his real hand on his friend's shoulder. "Never give up. Live for those you still have left. Thats all you can do."

Kasei smiled as Orpheous tried to hand him a gift. "NO thanks, Orph." THe mercinary said. Then the shiekah recieved very wise words of encouragement from Sovelis, who looked to be 17. "Heh, I never knew ya had it in ya, Sovelis." Kasei said, smiling. And he's right, I still have Aria and everyone else. he thought. The mercinary turned back to the well. "This well supplies the purest water in all hyrule, it may be difficult to get to, but its worth it." The rebel flame explained.

OOC: Don't worry, Sovelis, the old Kasei will be making an appearence in the near futer.

"Sorry, Kasei, I can't take no for an answer," he still held it out. The necklace could be seen on Orpheous's, Bou's, Simon's, and Matt's neck. It could be assumed that all of Orpheous's close friends had one. Simon took out a hug jug out of his magical iteming storing orb. He went over to the well and started filling it up.

OOC: Sounds like it is going to be awesome, and just take the necklace.

"What? Of coarse I have that kinnda stuff in my head! I'm not as young as I look." Sovelis said as he filled his canteen from the well and took a drink. "What are you going to do then Kasei." Sovelis said, a serious look on his face.

Kasei smiled, and relunctantly took the necklace and put it around his neck. "I guess i'll head out to look for the other remnants of my villiages survivors. Even though the villiage itself was destroyed, some people weren't there at the time. And Simon, I said the water was worth the journey, not that you could have any, but go ahead, no-one else is using it." Kasei said, apparently happy.

"Mind if I tag along? I have nowhere else to go..." Sovelis said as he made sure his canteen was full and closed before placing it back in his satchel. "It'll be good for you to look for a link to your past." he said as he looked around. "Where do you think they went.?"
