Hyrule Adventures 2

A dark shadow looms in front of you. You behold Pearanus' fortress. It was a mighty sight. It stood hundreds of feet tall, made completely out of some black material, maybe darkwood. A large gate stood at the front, guarded by many soldiers in black. It looks like it's got high security... how will you get in?

Aureliano took out his sword. "I really need some money to buy me a chainmail," he said to himself, "and this seems like the perfect place to find some riches."

OoC: Hey Leth.

Leth nodded to him. "Hello. My name is Leth. What's yours?"

"My name is Aureliano, Leth." he said, extending his hand in his direction. "So what is this exactly? Are you trying to break in? Because if you are, I'll gladly help." He saw Arrika at a distance, and almost waved at her, but decided not to. She was after all a thief and if she was trying to be stealthy, it must be for a tactical reason. He winked at her instead.

Arrika looks up with interest at the fort. How to break in... a fort like this is sure to house a least a few riches. Stupid rich people insist on falling for that same mistake and keep all of their money in completely noticeable places like this. Hey, is that Aurel?

Arrika almost called out to him, but thought better of it. She didn't want to draw attention to herself, and if she played her cards right she could convince Aureliano to provide an appropriate distraction.

Hm? Who's he talking to? Does he own this fort, because he has that commanding look about him.

Leth was about to respond to his question when he slapped his forehead. "I'm so sorry." He said. "I haven't introduced my companions. This is Polari, the Minish." He said, gesturing to the small creature on his shoulder. "And behind me is Karuna the Goron. Normally, I would also introduce my other companion, but he has been taken captive by the man who owns that fortress. His name is Pearanus. He killed my parents and has been trying to kill me. Somehow, he got his hands on Drommlin. I am his guardian; his father died before he was born and his mother died when he was little. We met up and I watch over him now. So now, Pearanus has captured Drom, who turns fourteen tomorrow, and is using him to get me here, probably to work out an arrangement of some kind. I am trying to get in and get Drom without being noticed or killed. Now, there were some people coming with me, but I don't know where they are now... I'll wait a little longer and see if they are coming." He turns and looks about anxiously.

Worru patted Leth on the back, now having caught up. "Sorry, Leth. Had a bit of a problem with my belt, you see." he said, though if anyone noticed, he wasn't wearing a belt at all. "So, Drom's in there, and we need to get him out, right?" he said, asking a rhetorical question, before eyeing the two already speaking to Leth. "Hey, who's your friends?" the young Sheikah asked.

Sovelis had seen a notice for help, stuck on the side of a house in town. So...Leth needs help? I'll go see what the hub-bub is all about... he thought as he wandered into the desert. He walked towards the place the notice had said to go. Some huge fort in the middle of Tantari. As the Tempest approched, he realized that his help may not be wanted, especially since the incident with the Royal Family and the Hakiems.

Sovelis kept going anyway, since he saw his student, Arrika, Worru, and the Vassal Aureliano. The Tempest took his hood down and walked up to Arrika. "Hello everyone. I hope I'm not interrupting anything?"

OOC: Arrika, let's just say this happens after our campfire brush in, and thus, your character should know most of the characters I am using here.

IC:The group of adventures that got the name Orpheous and co. walked up along the horizen. Eventually, once they were close enough to the group, a couple of feet in front of them, they stopped. The group consisted of, of course, Orpheous, as well as Simon and Matt. For some strange reason, Bou wasn't with them. A few seconds after they stopped, a owl swooped down on the ground beside them. Once it was firmly planted on the ground, its image shifted to that of a tailed attractive female in shorts, a loose t-shirt, and sandals. Orpheous was the first to respond, "Typical Silna. Always loved a catchy entry." She responded by playfully slapped him in the back of the head. "So..." started Orpheous with an awkward pause, "did we miss anything?"

"Oh. Hey, Handsome. Guess I'm switching from 'Mission Raid the Fort' to 'Rescue this Drommlin guy'?" The Sheikah said cheerily, having overheard Aureliano and the person called Leth. She was kind of irked at how many people had suddenly shown up, liking small crowds better, but didn't really mind. "If you need me to pick a lock, knock someone out, stab a guard in the back, or burn something up (she said the last part like a flashy ad on a flyer) then I can help. Unless you don't want to, Sovelis?" Arrika said, noticing his slight hesitation. "If they don't want you around, I won't join their little party."

OOC: YAYZ! PEOPLE! Okay, here's the deal. I am going to make this a RPing event, until I can figure out the way to calculate rolls and stuff. Help me out if you can.

IC: Leth brightened up a bit as more people showed up. He speaks to Worru. "I just met them." He tells Worru. "If you don't know this is Aureliano and that is... um... I think Sovelis can tell you." He turned to Sovelis and Orpheous. "Actually, you guys haven't missed a thing. We were about to break into his fort. As you probably remember, Pearanus is holding Drommlin captive, and plans bargaining for him." he said, waving the letter from Pearanus in the air. He then turned to Arrika, saying, "You don't have to leave, anyone is welcome to join." Then, addressing the group, he says, "I am open to any suggestions."

Aureliano dropped his extended hand to his side, and looked around at the adventurers, realizing he only knew a few. "Hello, my name is Aureliano, like Leth mentioned" he said to Orpheous and Worru, extending his hand to both adventurers. "Hey Sovelis," Aureliano said talking to the Tempest, "nice to see you again. You too, Arrika," now directing his word to the Thief, "I've been seeing you all over the place lately. You aren't trying to look after me are you?" he teased.

"Ah!" Leth said. "So her name is Arrika! Okay." Akward silence. "Um.. hello, Arrika. Do you have any ideas?" He asks her, hoping that SOMEONE has any idea of how they can rescue Drommlin.

"Hello, Aureliano," replied Orpheous with that casual smile it seemed he perfected. "My name is Orpheous, and the guy with me without the cloak is Matt, and the guy with the cloak is Simon. And the charming(sarcastic emphasis on charming) lady is Silna." Then, he turned to Leth, is there any small holes around the back. After all, we have a shape changer in our mists. Perhaps once she is in, she could find a way to distract the guards, and then she could open the gate for us."

"Next time I go into a deadly fortress I won't let you volunteer me. But seriously, I don't have a problem with it," chimed in Silna.

"Well....nice to meet you all." He was overwelmed by all the names everyone just threw at him. "Ok Polari the Minish, Karuna the Goron, Silna the Shapeshifter, Matt the guy without the cloak, and Simon the guy with the cloak, Orpheous, Sovelis, Leth, Arrika, and I nver got the other guy's name." Aureliano thought to himself, glad he remembered. "Well Leth, how about we bust through the guards? Or is that too tactically challenged?" asked Aureliano in an afable tone.
