Hello, Adventurers of Hyrule, new and old, veteran and rookie! If you're reading this, then I commend you on your curiosity. You've stumbled upon Hyrule's official New Member's Thread. That's right, this thread is for you.

Joining the world of Hyrule can often be a daunting, trivial thing. When a new player joins, he's expected to read the Rules Set, create a character with stats, alignment, class, backstory, etc., and then embark on a journey to show everyone else what he's capable of and supplement his story like most do.

But wait...that's a lot for the new player to absorb all at once. I'm sure we get countless joiners who take one glance at the beginning chores of new members and turn tail to flee. Where's the nice, relaxing phase to get the player used to the other members, and to show the other members elements of this newbie's personality, his writing skills, and maybe even some background, disabilities he may face in the writing field and other important bits of information? Anything to help us get to know the new player.

But it's not just limited to newbies; all of you current members were likely at least a little intimidated by the members who were here when you started; let's hear some things about yourselves. Hyrule is a kingdom, and you are its citizens. We have a game, but we also have a community that most may take for granted. So, adventurers, introduce yourselves. We're happy to meet you!

Location: middle pennsylvania, if ya live in america.
Job: None, really, I work on a farm, and had a parper rout.
Games: most zelda games. (Most couse I lack CDI and game n watch, and can't find wind waker T_T), disgaea, all KH titles, many others.
How I got here: Rummaging through teh net a little before MCLOZ closed the fisrt time, found TDC and stayed there a bit, then found a game on the site, bin hooked ever since.
Other online stuff: Member of MCLOZ forums, former aid to some web sites, fan of many things non-related.

Dogura is the prince of Shadowclaw, however, after leaving for North Hyrule, construction has prevented him from returning home. He was trained under the Shadowclaw art of the Samurai code. He is perhaps the only Samurai on Hyrule's West continent. He also wishes to venture East someday, where legends of his father's conquests are still shared.

I tend to consider myself a veteran, but then I think of Nogare, Weien, RG, and so forth, and then I say ; "Hell, what was I thinking, I am such a rookie."

How I found the sight: I love discussing the Legend of Zelda series with my friends(who could care less about talking about it), but I like to be informed. I came to TDC for my facts, and then I found this beautiful place. Orpheus from Inkspell successfully read himself out of the Inkheart series, were he changed his appearance to look more young and changed his name, adding an o after the e. He fought his own evil and a demon named Void, before coming to Hyrule, looking for a place to see if he wanted to settle down here. However, what was once a simple settling down, was now a full out battle. Orpheous now leads a small band of warriors who wish to stop the wrongs of the world.

Hello. My name is Havoc, and those who visit the forums may recognize me as the ever elusive 2nd Lt. Jean Havoc. I am currently learning the ropes of what I can actually o here, so I'm basically a student for the time being.

Allegiance: Only to those who are uncorrupted, and loyal to the death to those who are worthy of being accepted as loyal to the law and truthful of their words, as well as equals and comrades in arms.
Biography: Born to a wealthy family that quickly fell into poverty, Handuros, or Han for short, has always been fascinated with the art of swordplay, however his father and mother have been unable to find a suitable mentor, forcing him to practice on him lonesome. He is overall still a learner, however he has gotten to be quite agile and tactical, performing moves that some people might get sick from attempting to copy, usually from the excessive spinning that is performed. Han has arrived to North Castle to hone his skills and become useful in combat, and wishes to become at least an officer in the Hylian Army, despite the wishes of his father to become a mere merchant to at least live a long, wealthy life, a life that his mother and father were denied.
