Josh sighed and drove his sword into the ground, he kneeled by the water and cupped his hand to scoop up water for a drink. He then rinsed his face with water and shook it out of his long, brown hair and then collapsed on the grass in the field and groaned. Not thinking of the risk of thieves and not caring at the moment, now he just wanted rest for he found that his new life of adventuring proved more tiresome than he had first thought. Not meaning to, he sank into a light sleep.

Cathy had been casually walking around(cough, lost, cough cough) when she saw this guy laying around. She walked over to him and untied her sword from her waist. She flipped it over and tapped him on the head with the hilt.

"Hey, it's not very safe to be laying here out in the open. Trust me, been there, done that," Cathy said. She tapped him a few more times. "You better wake up before I do much worse to you." The zora stood there and waited for a response.

Josh yawns and sits up, and says sleepily:
Ah, my head.

Josh pulls his sword the ground and places it back in its scabbard.

Thanks for waking me up.
oh, my head.
Says Josh rubbing his head.

Hi, Im Josh.
Josh reaches his hand out to shake the Zora girl's hand while still rubbing his head with his free hand.

"Hey, Josh, my name is Cathy Rengo," Cathy said, taking the hand and shaking it slightly. She wasn't much on the greetings, but it was easy for her to say hi. She scratched her head and looked around. "Say, have you seen a girl around 5'4'', dark brown hair that goes all the way to the bottom of her knees, but she wears it up in a ponytail so then it will be to her waist, since she wears it so high up, weird green eyes, and is dressed in pure white?"

Pleased to meet you, Cathy. Said Josh as he released Cathy's hand and then rested his hand on the hilt of his sword. As for this long haired, green eyed girl, no I have seen no such person. May I ask who this person is?

"She's my best friend," Cathy huffed. "She knows how to read a map, and I don't. Too me forever to get out of that forest!" Cathy thought for a second. "Maybe I shouldn't pick on her being a princess all the time. Maybe then she won't abandon me," Cathy muttered under her breath. "Yeah, I might have to do that. But who can I have fun picking on now? Soteto? No, he'll just find a way to pick on me back. Kerokee? Nope, he hates my guts and we'll only get into a fist fight." Cathy sighed and added, "With Kayla breaking it up with her threats." She had forgotten about Josh there for a second. She straightened up and said, "If you ever meet Kayla, never get her mad. She can become very dangerous. More than me, and I'm dangerous. I fear her when she gets mad."

"CATHY!"

"Oh no," Cathy muttered. "I have to go. Soteto's coming." Cathy jumped into the water and disappeared when a tall boy with a loose brown shirt and blue cargo pants appeared. His hair was bright blue and his eyes were dark blue.

"Cathy! Eh?" Soteto looked around. "She disappeared."

Wait, whos Soteto!? Josh turns to meet the boy . Are you Soteto? said Josh grasping the hilt of his sword ever more tighter, as if seeing this stranger as a threat, due to his confusion, he did not know whether to see this stranger as a friend or foe.

"I wove you, Cathy!" Soteto shouted. He stood in silence. He apparently didn't hear the boy, but he saw him. Soteto stared at him for a bit. "Who are you?" he asked. His attention was soon turned back to the water when he heard a splash. "Cathy! I love you! Please don't-" The rest of his sentence was halted when a foot landed on his head and knocked him to the ground. The foot was a white shoe with matching socks. The person had on a white skirt, so it was girl. She had on a white lace shirt. Her whole outfit matched her pale skin. She had long brown hair that was pulled into a high ponytail. She had strangely dark green eyes. This girl, was Kayla.

"Soteto stop acting like a love sick puppy," she said. Soteto pulled out from under her foot and jumped up. He tackled her to the ground and gave her a hug.

"Kayla! I thought that you would have been killed by now! I'm so glad that you still are!" Soteto cried.

"Can't. . . Breathe. . . " Kayla mustered to get out.

Josh released the grip on his sword. and stood watching in confusion, thinking to himself" this is weird".

Still very confused Josh finnaly spoke, "uh, hi" said Josh in confusion

"im a little confused here so could one of you tell me, WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?"

Kayla managed to push Soteto off and keep him an arm's length away. "Well, my name is Kayla Inkeeashi. I'm the princess of Kito Village. By being a princess, I get attacked everyday. Being here in Hyrule has given me some safety. Though Soteto doesn't think it so" -she pushed Soteto a bit-"when I disappear off all by myself, he starts freaking out, thinking that I'll get killed." Kayla pushed Soteto some more. He seemed to be in a hugging mood.

"I thought that you would have been killed!" Soteto cried.

"Don't you ever listen to what Cathy says?" Kayla questioned.

"No," Soteto answered. "I'm too busy looking into her beautiful blue eyes of hers."

Kayla looked back at Josh. "Did I mention he's madly in love with Cathy?"

Yeah I kinda figured that. I'm Josh. said Josh drawing his sword and kneeling to the princess. Pleased to meet you my lady. Josh stood up and placed his sword back into its scabbard. You, said Josh looking at Soteto, are weird, and you kinda freak me out so try and keep your distance.

"Oh sure, treat the princess better than me," Soteto muttered, crossing his arms. Kayla jabbed him in the ribs, hard. "Ow!"

"Well, Josh, you don't need to call me "princess". Here, I'm a normal girl, just call me Kayla," she said. Her gaze went to Soteto, who had stopped pouting and now was poking her neck. "What are you doing?"

"You have something on your neck," he said.

"It's called a scar," Kayla mumbled. "Or it's my birthmark."

Alright, Kayla, but what are you doing here in Hyrule instead of in your own kingdom?
Said Josh to Kayla and then quickly glancing at Soteto and then looking back at Kayla.

Kayla shrugged. "I don't really know. I stumbled upon a portal, found one of my friends here, my twin brother came here too, and then Kerokee and Soteto came." She glanced at Soteto, who went to picking at the grass, bored out of his mind. He changed his mind quickly Kayla thought. She let out a sigh. "My step mom is taking care of the place while I'm here. I'll be leaving in a year to go back."
