Laying under a tree

Kayla sat down under a tree and stared up at the sky. The wind rustled the branches and her long hair blow. The clouds past quickly over the sun. She kept her green eyes on the sky.
She sat crosed leg and decided to rest her head on the tree. She knew better not to fall asleep in the open. She just decided to listen to her surroundings. The birds chirping, the wind blowing, the trees rustling, and everything else.

"Why is it, that, whenever I decide to take a nap in a tree, someone always seems to find their way under it?"
The voice was loud, and obviously irritated. Ryk turned a bit on the tree branch to look down at the girl who sat beneath him, before turning back to the foliage above him. "You're...Kayla, right? Fishface's friend?" he asked, only a bit of his manners showing through, but not many going to come out.

Kayla glanced at him. "Yeah, I'm Kayla." She got to her feet and dusted off some of the grass and dirt that got on it. "I could leave if you want to nap. I was just trying to get away from everyone. They worry too much about me." She smiled softly at him.

Arrika wandered over, not really watching where she was going as her face was immersed in a book. She tripped, and sprawling on the ground with a loud, "Hey?!" Looked up to see a green eyed girl relaxing under a tree. "Oh goddesses, I'm so clumsy today! Sorry 'bout that," she apologized, grinning and stowing her book in her cargo pants.

Ryk looked down once more, at Kayla, and then spoke to her. "You don't have to. Been her for about three hours already. Something'll happen." he said, and as he did, Arrika came in. He looked at her for a moment, then grinned. "'Ello, there, Sheikah brat."

Arrika looked at him curiously; after having a cat fight with a certain silver haired mage a few days before she wasn't keen on bickering again. She ignored the remark, saying, "You're Worru, aren't you?" He already seems possessed...

Ryk grinned. "M'name's Ryk, love. Worru's guardian, when he sleeps." he said, not at all seeming like a musical spirit, like Paladin said.

"Cheeky little fellow, isn't he," Arrika muttered to herself. "I don't suppose the real Worru will 'wake up' any time soon?" Hah. Guardian? More like another parasite of a demon. Hyrule seems overrun with those.

Ryk cracked a grin, changing the metal boots he wore into claws, just like the ones on his hands, and using those to hang upside down from the tree. "Not a good idea, love. You see, my boy here is packing a weapon that when it's at full length, breaks the foot-long mark. And since there are, and I'm not saying this from my own experiance, two pretty girls around here, he might just get started." he said.

Cloud walked over after hearing everyone talking. He came upon three people. Two he knew, but one he did not. Worru and Kayla, they had ran into Cloud numerous times in the past.
"Hello Worru, Kayla. How are you today?"
Cloud gave them both a warm smile. He then turned to the other girl.
"Hello there, i'm Cloud. It's nice to meet you."
He extended his hand to the girl.

"Then its a good thing I'm here, Ryk." A all-too familiar voice said. Out of nowhere, a slim doorway of light slashed the air in two, and out stepped a man in black robes, and a red cloak. "Sorry. I had to be flashy...Would have been better to just fall out of the sky and land on someone." Sovelis mumbled, looking at the four people gathered under the tree.
"What is it with trees and gatherings? It seems every time someone sits under a tree, people start to appear...out of thin air and glomp them." he spoke loudly. In his hand, a small bottle was clutched. "And no. This isn't any kind of liquor. Its just water."

"Ahuh. Suuure," Arrika said sarcastically, ignoring Sovelis's showy entrance. She then shook Cloud's hand. "I'm Arrika." She sighed. "Yeah, it does seem like trees have this magnetic force that pulls people into having meetings under them. Hey, Ryk, where'd you get those boots?"

Ryk looked down, or in this case, up at his boots, then back at Arrika. "Fused to my skin. Just like these." he said, letting hs gauntlets hang down, the blades shining off them. "In the case that I'm removed from Worru, whatever I decide to use until I return to him will have both of these."

"It's good to see you, Cloud, it's been awhile, hasn't it?" Kayla said. She ignored Sovelis completely. She had no business with him, so she didn't need to pay any attention to him. Even if he was a jerk. "Where have you been since we last talked?" she asked. She hadn't seen him around anywheres since they last met. Then again, she didn't do much traveling around.

Cloud looked ove to Kayla, another of his old friends. It had been months since h last saw her.
"It has been a while, hans't it? I've been in another place, I cannot explain it at the moment. I was honing my skills, and hunting down my brother."
