Hyrule Adventures 2

As your passing through, you see a flusterred Cloud furiously working to put together a simple sign. Theres a dwindling pile of wood near him, numerous nails scattered around, and a hammer in his hand. Everytime he brings the hammer down, you either hear a clank, a muffled clank followed by a "Damn, ruined another one!". or a sickening thump, followed by"MY THUMB!".

"Curse my non-carpenteral abilities..."

Once Cloud finished, he steps back and looks at the fruits of his labor, a beautifully crafted oak sign. Cloud pulls out a scroll from his robe, opens it, reads it over one last time, and nails it to the sign.

"That'll do it."

Soon after, Cloud perches himself next to the sign, waiting for any passers by to notice it.

OOC: Hopefully this'll be the beginning of an event I hope to have. If I get enough people, i'll take it to RG and ask him about it. It will include two epic dungeons, a (hopefully) indepth plot, new faces, powerful monsters, and lavish rewards. If I can bribe RG to let me make an Epic item. Lol.

I'll tell you the name of ONLY one of the dungeons: The Nether-Screech Catacombs. Hopefully, thet'll catch your attention.

Sakiko approached slowly, ambling through mindlessly. She saw the sign, rather clumsily nailed in her opinion, and pursed her lips as her gray eyes scanned down. She muttered,

"Well, this sounds interesting."

She fumbled through her robe until she found a quill. Scratching at the sign hastily, she stepped back and looked at her name.

Cloud watched intently as the girl scribbled her name on the parchment. When she stepped back to look at her name, Cloud was flooded with joy.

"Thank you kind traveler. Your help will be muchly appreciated."

Cloud gave her a warm smile.

Sakiko turned her gray eyes on the new stranger, and returned the smile with a small one of her own. She nodded,

"You must be Cloud. I'm Sakiko, as you can see..."

The mage waved a hand at the sign. She leaned on her staff as she asked,

"I saw that there would be lavish rewards. Is this some treasure hunt?"

Cloud's visage turned more serious.

"Unfortunately it's not that simple. I have recently, in my travels, discovered a dangerous reality, which threatens the safety of all of Hyrule. So, instead of running to the king, and causing chaos, I've chosen to take a group of adventurers down to the Nether Realm, to try and quell this threat, before I need royal help."

Cloud took a breath. Obviously having forgotten to do so while speaking.

"The Nether Realm is an alternate reality, in which an Antiversion of every thing ever created exists. Imagine two parallel lines. The top is Hyrule, and the Bottom is the Nether Realm. I have perceived, that these 'lines' will intersect, ending all life as we know it."

Again, Cloud took a deep breath. He really needed some less winded explanations.

"Obviously there will be opposition from organisms there. Not to mention ant-versions of all us Adventurers."

Arrika waved at Sakiko, then at Cloud as she read the sign and wrote her name in a long script. "'Lavish rewards'? I like the sound of that," she said, grinning.

Sakiko looked at Cloud with a small frown on her face. Her gray eyes didn't reflect any emotions as she nodded her head slowly. She finally said,

"That's a little abstract, but I see your reasoning. It's better to try and stop it rather than say this will never happen and don't try."

The mage smiled as she noticed Arrika. She turned back to Cloud and rubbed her cheek thoughtfully.

"I am being too skeptic here, but how did you find out about this danger?"

Aureliano signed the sign. "Hello Arrika, Sakiko. Both of you look nice today." he simply said to the ladies. "Well 'Cloud' I want to join your little 'army'." He had been bored for several days, doing nothing but getting himself evicted by his landlord. "Granted I don't know you, I would like to get to know you and the reason of your absence not to mention riches where ever we are going to end up"

Sakiko greeted Aureliano. The mage thought over the conversation she had with Cloud earlier, and picked up the finer details. She rasied her eyebrows and said to Cloud,

"You mentioned anti-versions of all creatures, including us. And if we happen to intersect, what exactly will happen? A war?"

Sovelis drew his finger across the paper of the sign, leaving his name where it had been. "So Cloud...you need some help? Why didn't you just ask me?" sovelis asked of the Hylian Mage. "So thats where you disappeared to? This 'Anti-World' your talking about...it could be dangerous. You'll need an experienced traveler such as myself if your going into another world altogether."
