Once again, annother gossip stone had appeared ina strange place; the gates to the underworld. It, like all the other ones that had appeared, was a dull brown. On it, the next riddle:

the survivors spreading pain and fright
who now stands against it's might?
the aincent, eternal blight.

Azador spotted the stone at the dungeon's entrance, last time somebody solved the riddle before him.

"that means there must be carcasses all over the place!"

"Who could be the survivors?...as they are spreading pain and fright they either got to be monsters or thieves I guess.

"I don't know that......that’s what I'm trying to figure out"

the stone smiled, at least, it looked like it, before it turned into leaves and vanished. "To the tree now, you must go."

A shadow seemed to loom as night approached. Something was going to happen soon.
