Kayla stood next to the red head girl gabbering in her ears. She was annoyed that the freckle faced ninja wouldn't shut up long enough for Kayla to ask what she was doing there. Her green eyes were staring at the ground with a little annoyance.
"Anteria,(An-or-ah, her "T" is silent) what are you doing here in the first place?" asked Kayla. The dagger thrower stopped talking and smiled widely at Kayla. She put her arm around the shorter girl.
"Listen, shorty, with you being here, unprotected, you never know what can happen, not only are you a princess, but you are a. . ." Anteria looked around cautiously. She opened up her her mouth to finish off what she was going to say, but Kayla had tugged her arm away.
"They know," the brunette said.
"THEY KNOW!?" Anteria shouted. Her jaw dropped open. Kayla looked at her and had to chuckle slightly.
"If you keep your mouth any longer, you will attract bugs in there," Kayla said. The red head closed her mouth and glared daggers at her with the purple eyes of hers.
"How could you have told them that you're a forest sprite!?" Anteria barked. Kayla frowned. The red head let out a small gasp. "You didn't tell them the whole truth, did you?"
"Well, I told them that I was a forest sprite, a person who has their life saved by having their souls combined," Kayla admitted. Anteria glared at her. "What!?"
"Have any of them tried to kill you?"
"No."
"THAT'S BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T TOLD THEM THE TRUTH!" Anteria shouted. She pointed a finger accusedly at Kayla. She looked around and leaned in to whisper silently to Kayla. "Why didn't you tell anyone that you transform into a different girl when the moon is showing?"
"Anteria-" Kayla said warningly, but the dagger thrower stopped her from saying anything else.
"Kayla, your hair turns into the same color as your eyes. Your eyes get a glow to them. Your already pale skin turns ivory. You clothes. . .morph. Kayla, you sprout wings. Why can't you tell them that?" Anteria stared at Kayla expectedly. Relization dawned on her face. "Is it because you can't fight at night? Is it because you can only run away?"
"Anteria," Kayla hissed, "I would rather like it if people didn't know everything about me. Just because you grew up as one of my closest friends, doesn't mean you can reveal every secret of mine."
"You are lucky no one is around, shorty," Anteria said. She took a dagger out from the back of her pocket and twirled it in her hands. "Well, I guess we can get off of that subject. Now, who is this 'Sovelis' that I heard so fondly of?" Kayla's face turned bright red.
"He's no one," she mumbled. She watched as Anteria twirled the dagger. "I'm surprised you haven't stabbed anyone with one of those things."
"Oh, come on, he has to be someone since you talked about almost all the time," Anteria stressed. "And look at your face! It's redder than what Aero can make it! Now that boy has to be someone." She had put an arm around Kayla. The dagger in hand slipped and almost got someone in the head. "Oops. . ."
"Nice one," Kayla muttered. "And have you ever heard of personal space?" She pulled off the arm and glared at her.
"Aw, shorty, you always ruin the fun," Anteria pouted.
"Will you stop with the shorty thing?" Kayla snapped.
"What? You are shorter than me," Anteria snapped back.
"I'm seven years younger than you!" Kayla countered. Anteria fell silent. "What are you doing here anyways?"
"I'm staying her for as long as you are! Someone's going to need to protect you!" Anteria exclaimed. Kayla's eyes widened ingto saucers.
"No, oh no, you are NOT going to stay here! You need to leave, now!" Kayla said, pushing the girl as much as she can.
"You ruin everything!" Anteria whined.
OoC: To tell you the truth, my favorite character that I created in the ninja group would be Anteria. She's just so fun! And she always acts Kayla age. I'm serious at that. And they met when Kayla was 7, and Anteria just thought that she was a short fourteen year old. So that is why she calls Kayla "shorty".
Wow, longest post. . .EVER!!!
This is what happens when it's eight o clock and I have nothing to do, and I'm stumped at what to write for my real story. Sarah's the toughest character that I have EVER created.
I wonder who will be able to finish this and be able to post to it, because I know I got a little carried away by this.
