Memories of a friend

It was a cold morning, no light of the new day shone through the thick clouds that covered the air.
Edward stepped out of a local Inn in the cold air of the streets, at first he thought it was freezing.
With a slow pace he walked trough town, there weren’t many people at this time of day.
But he had to try and find him. He was sure Azador was here, these past few weeks he had some useful info. But all he really knew is that he was wanderer, making money by helping people with his magic.
After a short walk he was in the courtyard which was always a place he could relax and think about his problems. He sat down on a bench.
where could he be....? That was the question that haunted his mind for quite a time.
Azador always tried to help people....but that slowly changed,
maybe because Miguel. I'm glad he changed his ways now....but wouldn't Miguel contact me?
He suddenly felt very warm, he looked up into the sky as the sun shone a small light ray through the thick clouds.
Maybe I could ask the gods to help me?
But why would the help me or Azador as they saw us as sinners.
I think after 'it' happened, he lost all faith in the deities.
He shacked his head for a few seconds as he was trying to forgot his thoughts.
"it........" He whispered.

by Kasei
It was a nice day, in Kasei's opinon, for a stroll around North Castle. The rebel flame smiled as he picked out some cotton candy from a vendor, and continued up the street, smiling at people who talked to him. Yes, today was a good day.
He was on his way to the Ornery cucoo tavern when he saw something that caught his eye-Edward, a freind of Azador. He was searching for something, based on his actions. Kasei pushed his way over. "Howdy," He said, "What are you looking for, Edward?" The shiekah asked.

Edward nearly fell of the bench when hearing Kasei's voice.
He quickly turned to Kasei.
"hehehe... I did not expect to see you, this early in the morning."
He said with a welcoming smile. Although that disappeared after a few seconds.
"As you I told you a few days ago in the pub. I am searching for Azador.
I found the usual places that he visits...but I haven’t had to luck to meet him."
He answered quietly.
He turned away from Kasei for a brief moment. Looking to a great oak that always seemed to be the center of the courtyard.
"I am sorry" He continued. "I don't even now if this Azador is the Azador I am looking for."
"Have you seen him?" He asked in a desperate attempt to find his friend.

by Lyos
The crisp winter air enveloped Lyos as his fingers danced gingerly over the frets and strings of his theorbo. Mornings like this were his favorite way to get lost in his thoughts and music, cut off from the daily struggle that life proved. Especially of late, his thoughts had escaped him, on to diffuse just as rapidly as the mist of his breathe into the frigid dawn. But no, with his brother still asleep at the hostel this was his time, alone with his music, finally allowed to think.
Just when Lyos began to feel the warm glow of the newly risen sun his attention was captured by a figure walking slowly through the center of the courtyard. Though he couldn't quite make out the man's face from his seat upon the castle parapet, Lyos could tell by his stride that the man was troubled. He appeared to be searching for something, but what Lyos could not be sure. After a few moments saw Kasei's familiar face come around the corner. It appeared the the two already knew each other as they commenced an unheard conversation.
Fine morning for a stroll eh gentlemen? he called down to the men as he ceased playing.
Returning his theorbo to its usual place at his side, Lyos vaulted himself from his seat atop the wall and walked forward to greet this new face.
The name's Lyos Svara... he said to the first with an outstreached hand and a smile disproportionately warm compared to their frosty environment.

Kasei listened to Edward's plea. "Hmmm.....now that I actually think about it....no, I have not seen Azador in some time. He always was the reclusive type. When I do see him, it is either in battle, when we have little chance to talk, or in a bar, when we get drunk and don't remember meeting each other." He said, then turned to Lyos. "Howdy!"

"It's a shame..." He replied softly.
He then turned to the new stranger.
And quickly shacked the man's hands.
"I am pleased to meet you sir, my name is Edward Ricardius,
and it certainly is a fine morning." He said while a new smile appeared on his face.

by Sakiko
Sakiko was arguing loudly with Zeze as they walked briskly through the winter cold. The mage didn't think much of the weather, as she did not mind the cold at all. Zeze said loudly,
"I think it's cold as melted ice. Sakiko, it's because you're not a normal being."
The mage opened her mouth to protest at this, when she saw Kasei and two others she did not know. Sakiko approached them quickly, eager to lose the company of Zeze. She paused, a little distance away, as she heard the man asking about Azador. She decided to join in. The mage greeted,
"Hello, Kasei. Sorry to intrude on the conversation, but I heard you talking about Azador."
Zeze did a cartwheel, her short, flaming red hair making a swoosh.
"Sakiko saw him a very long time ago. No help, though, sorry."
Sakiko rolled her eyes, and said to Edward and Lylos,
"I heard your names earlier, and i think it'll be rude of me not to introduce myself. My name is--"
Zeze interrupted, and yelled,
"Saaaakkkkkkkkiiiiiiiikoooooooooooooo!!!! And mine's Zeze!"

"Ahhh. Hello there, Sakiko, how is our day going?" Kasei asked. He turned back to Edward. "Azador is reclisive. He'll show himself when he feels like it. I never was able to get him to show up when I wanted him, but he was there when I needed him. Don't worry, you'll find him." Kasei said. It was now evident what the Rebel Flame was wearing; a jacket for winter, with similar designs like his normal jacket, and sweatpants that resemble his old ones. Gotta stay in style, eh?

Hehehehe...Edward laughed loudly.
"You certainly are very kind people! Nice to meet you Sakiko, Zeze."
"You people really make me feel welcome, unlike the drunkards I had to talk at all those pubs for some clues."

Zeze raised her eyebrows, so dangerously high that it was a miracle that her eyebrows did not fly off into the sky. She protested,
"Drunkards? I say, drunkards are the merriest of people."
Sakiko gave Zeze a swift push with her staff, and said to Kasei,
"My day has been horrible, with her around."
Zeze rolled her eyes, and said to Edward,
"Ignore her, please. I hope you find Azador, though. When is the last time you saw him?"

A pleasure my ladies. I have to say though that I am rather impressed by the amount of energy you two seem to possess. Not many could boast so expansive a store of liveliness at so early an hour. Lyos said with a smile.
While the sun continued the rise, the change in temperature was beginning to cause the wind to pick up in the courtyard. The chilled breeze bit at his ankles reminding him that he should probably head back to the hostel to wake Hurin.
Well it has been great to meet you all, and I hope to see you soon. and with another warm attempt to defrost the frigid atmosphere, Lyos turned to leave the courtyard.
After a couple of steps he remembered there was something he wanted to ask Kasei.
Oh and by the way, Kasei, or really any of you for that matter, I recently found a plush doll of our great hero while I was up in the mountains and I was wondering if you might know who it might belong to?

"The...the last time?" He repeated Zeze's question,
"The last time...It was a long time ago, a very long time.
Me and Azador have always been like brothers." Edward looked straight forth, as he was ones again thinking very hard about things. It made the sparkle of eyes disappear making him look emotionless for only a few moments.
"I am afraid that after our paths split by a certain event, that he doesn't want to see me and again and that he is avoiding me for this long." He continued
After another moment of silence, Edward felt a sharp sensation of pain right in his head. It was no ordinary pain, he had felt a similar feeling.
When their master tried to contact him.
Altough this one seemed different it was a long and very annoying sensation.
Unlike Miguel's short stab.
And it was very close... it was north...north west of here...
"erghh...."
After a few seconds the pain ended, as quick it had appeared.

Zeze laughed a did a somersault. She then took out her flute, and turned to Edward,
Why, Zeze and Sakiko,
they're different as can be,
Sakiko is cold as a foe,
while Zeze is cheerful as a... as ...
The bard trailed off, unable to think of a word that rhymed with "be." Sakiko rolled her eyes, and said to Lyos,
"The link doll? Ah, it was a long time ago, but it belonged to a little boy. You must cross the desert to get there." (ooc: sorry, Lyos, but I'm not going to give everything away - that's the point of having a challenge for the quest, right?

)
Just then, Sakiko jumped, and eyed Edward worriedly.
"I felt it. Just now. What was it?"
The mage was certain that she had felt in his aura a certain anomaly, a jab of irregularity.

Edward looked Sakiko, he was surprised that the young mage could sense it.
She must be a very talented mage to pick up such a signal, it even was directly aimed at me.
"You...you can feel it?" he asked.
"Not many people can though...
It seemed to be some kind of a distress call.
And the one who send it must have known me. I think..."

Sakiko explained simply,
"I can read people's emotions and feelings, simply put - their aura. Just right now, your aura had experienced a strange...sensation, right?"
The mage tapped her chin worriedly.
"You know, it's not a good idea to keep having those pains get to you randomly. Do you have any idea of who it may be?"
