Kayla walked through the courtyard. She shivered and wrapped the shawl closer to her body. She mentally cursed for having such a body that would get cold easily. She only wished for a something heavier. Maybe she could steal one of Aero's caps and wear it. . .
A cloaked figure jumped down from a building and lashed out at Kayla. The brunette wasn't expecting it and fell backwards. Her left side was stinging with pain. She examined the person and saw no weapon, so they only lashed out with a fist.
Kayla jumped to her feet, forgetting how cold she was. She started fighting the figure.
As fists lashed out and kicks were pulled, Kayla noticed how good she was able to avoid them. It seemed like as if this person was fighting how one of her friends fought. One that had just began fighting when she she met them at age eleven. . .
The brunette grabbed the fist that had came for her. She brought up her other hand and elbowed the person sharply. They fell back on the ground as Kayla realeased the hold.
Something didn't go unnoticed by her. A green glint came from a small green crystal in the shape of a triangle.
Of course, Kayla thought. Why didn't I notice that earlier.
"It's been a long time," Kayla said. She walked over to where she had knocked the person, finding them farther than what she had actually hit. "You haven't changed one bit, Kaitlin."
"How did you-" The figure suddenly stopped when she was hoisted to her feet from a pulled on the necklace she wore. Her hood fell off, showing the same exact brown hair color as Kayla's.
"You won't ever give up on that promise we made, will you?" Kayla questioned, an evil grin plastered on her face. "Face it, you'll never beat me."
"Oh my Goddess!" Cathy suddenly shouted, staring at the two. They seemed to look exactly the same. Same shade of green eyes, shade of brown hair. The difference was the skin color and the scar that was on Kaitlin's right cheek that ran all the way down to her jaw bone. "Are you two twins!? Wait a second, that would make you, Kyle, and her triplets!" After a pause. "What the hell! That is just messed up!"
