It had been a day or two now since Touken had fallen through that strange portal in his home world, ending up out in the wilderness of Hyrule. He sighed with relief as he came close to Hyrule Castle, having seen the large structure in the distance when he regained consciousness. He hoped that someone there could help him.

He crossed the drawbridge, entering the castle. His furry ears instinctively flattened against his head as he was met with the loud noise of so many townspeople doing their daily errands. The inu youkai could already tell that this area was very populated as he began to explore his surroundings.

He began to walk around the inside of Hyrule Castle, taking in the sight, smell, and sound of everything. He discovered that he had no idea where to start, this world being so much different from his own. His bare feet clicked against the stones of the roads as he continued forward, his dog-like ears twitching as he kept alert for any strange noises. He hoped that perhaps someone could lead him around this place or help him find someone who would be able to explain his arrival here.

Touken growled quietly in annoyance before taking a seat on a wooden bench, realizing that on his own, he was getting nowhere in this place. He tried to think of a better way to approach his dilemma, leaning his head back a bit and looking up toward the sky. The youkai was terribly confused by everything that had transpired in the past few days. He just wanted to go back to his own world, or at least figure out what was going on here.

It was a fairly ordinary day, in Kasei's mind. No crimes yet, fair weather, a nice group of people in town today. Yes, Kasei didn't need to worry about dangers today. It was a day for relaxation. And, of course, what better way to relax than enjoy a hunk of cotton candy? Answer; THERE IS NONE!

So, Kasei smiled, walking down a street in Hyrule's North Castle, strings of cotton candy hanging from his mouth. The sweet candy melting in his mouth was delectible, and he enjoyed it.

At least, however, until someone bumped him on the shoulder, and he dropped his cotton candy. As the sweet hit the floor, Kasei wheeled around to face the one who bumped him, his face a contortment of rage and loss of candy.

That angry face turned into a look of shock as Kasei gazed upon a face he had not seen for countless days. Ears, hair, even bare feet looking no different from when Kasei last saw him.

"T . . . TOUKEN?" Kasei asked, eyes and mouth open wide.

Touken's furry ears twitched at the sound of another's voice, causing him to turn to look at the other's face. His golden eyes lit up as he recognized who it was, his tail wagging a bit in happiness from seeing a familiar face.

"Kasei!" Touken exclaimed, overjoyed as he hugged the other male tightly, "I was so confused! I fell into a portal and then I ended up in the middle of some forest so then I saw this huge castle here and I figured that someone here might be able to help so then I came over here and I couldn't find anyone so I just kind of gave up and tried to think of a better plan but now you're here and you can help!" the youkai explained, finally taking a chance to breathe after his huge run-on sentence.

Afterward, the inu youkai realized that he had gotten a bit too excited, laughing nervously as he stopped hugging Kasei, backing up a little and hoping that he wasn't going to get hit.

Kasei pratically froze as he ws embraced by his old freind, confused but still a bit happy. As Touken explained his predicament, Kasei nodded his head. "A portal, eh? What, were you fighting something exceptionally powerfull or something?" The Rebel Flame asked.

"As for where you are; this is Hyrule, the world I orriginate from. It has been some time, Touken." Kasei said exhasperately.

"Yeah, I was fighting someone who was rather powerful. I can't remember his name, but he started mumbling something that sounded like a spell, and then this portal opened up under me and sucked me into this world," Touken explained, then sighing a bit.

He quickly regained his usual cheerful expression, however, looking back at Kasei. "So anyway, this is where you're from? That's great! That means you can show me around the place," Touken said with a smile, happy that he would finally be able to learn about where he was. He generally preferred to have a guide, being naturally intimidated by unfamiliar areas. Of course, this wasn't even just an unfamiliar area, it was a unfamiliar world.

Kasei smiled at his freind. "Well, then, I guess I can show you around, I have nothing else to do." Kasei said.

At the same time, a small, blond-haired girl appeared from the nearest crowd, carrying a bag of groceries in her hand. She instantly spotted Kasei, and started waking over. Kasei, as tall as he was, picked her up with one arm and placed her on his shoulder.

"And this, Touken," He said, addressing his freind, "Is my grandaughter, Aria. I believe you never met her before?" He asked, as Aria struggled to get off of his shoulder.

OoC: Welcome, Welcome!!! Its good to see a new face here on HA2! I'm Cody, but here on the forum, they call me Sovelis, The Tempest. Due to the war and such, I cannot post here in-character wihtout something bad happening to me, so I'll have to just post out of character.

Okay... I lied.

IC:

Even from the shaodows of one of the larger buildings, Sovelis was not very noticeable as he stood there, watching his ex-friend and the stranger. A dog demon... Interesting. I wonder if he is full-blooded or a half breed? And it seems that Kasei knows him.

The Tempest kept his dark, hooded cloak clutched closely, hiding and waiting for a chance to show himself without being harmed.

Touken looked at the small, blond girl that had appeared, his face turning to a rather comical expression when he heard that she was Kasei's granddaughter. "Your... granddaughter? Exactly how old are you again?" the inu youkai asked, simply amazed. He aged slowly enough that he had been around for at least 100 or 200 years by now, but he hadn't even found a mate of his own. Getting over his shock, he decided that he should acknowledge the child, smiling at her. "Hello there, Aria," he said, waving politely.

However, as he was reunited with his friend, he could have sworn that he picked up another scent close-by, his nose twitching a bit. Perhaps someone was spying on him, he wondered, taking a quick look around but not noticing anything out of the ordinary. He kept his pointed, furry ears alert to listen for any movement around him just in case of an ambush, though in an area this crowded, it definitely wouldn't be an ideal place for one. He decided to simply look back toward Kasei, ignoring the other presence for now.

Kasei smiled as Touken asked a question. "What, i'm at least a hundred and twenty five by now. That shouldn't supprise you, I thought you met my daughter? Oh, well. Anywhay," Kasei said, turning his head to the right as Touken sniffed the air, "I think we should let the little bug come out of hiding, eh?" He asked, turning around to one of the taller buildings in the area.

Instantly, it was not Kasei, but Aria who stood by Sovelis' side. "Ahoy there, sensei!" The little girl said. "Wanna come down?"

"GAAAHHH!!!" Their are only a few things in this world that can scare Sovelis. One of them is Aria popping out of nowhere next to him when he's hiding on the edge of a building. The Tempest toppled over the edge, and down onto the ground some twenty feet below him. He managed to twist mid-fall and land on his feet when he reached the coblestone sidewalk, the shock of the landing jolted along Sovelis' legs as he stood there, immobile for a few seconds.

I really need to stop hiding on buildings... Its just getting to be to painful anymore to do this... Sovelis straitened himself out, his legs clearly still shaking from that messy landing. "Kasei... Its such a nice day today, wouldn't you agree?"

Aria smiled as Sovelis toppled to the ground. Her smile was joined by Kasei's laughter at Sovelis' pathetic look at the moment. The Rebel Flame approached Sovelis, and pulled him up off the ground, smiling as Aria floated down using wind powers. "Sovelis, any day that you fall from a roof is a nice day." The shiekah said, snickering. Aria, in the meantime, grabbed her bags, and turned to leave.

After Sovelis landed on the ground, Touken watched the interaction between him and Kasei, his dog ears twitching as a confused look came across his face. He had no idea who this new person was, other than that he appeared to be some sort of acquaintance of his friend. A bit too shy to say anything, the inu youkai simply looked back and forth between the two males from a short distance, observing the conversation. He didn't want to make any stupid moves before he knew more about the situation at hand, part of his rather cautious nature. After all, he wasn't yet familiar with this world, let alone the inhabitants of it.

"Well... this is a surprise though. A dog demon in Hyrule, and your not trying to kill me today Kasei. What sort of twisted luck has gotten a hold of me?" Sovelis joked, his face hiding his true intentions. "I felt something a while ago, and I figured that it was some sort of crack in the barrier. That must be how you got in here." the Tempest approached Touken, his hands hanging limply at his side.

"I haven't see many of your kind, even in my travels. Its always good to know that somehow, new arrivals are slipping in through the cracks in this world. Just makes me feel more confident that I might be able to start my traveling again one of these days..." Sovelis held his hand out to Touken, his smile warm and calm. "By the way, My name is Sovelis Liadon, and I'm not a good person to know right now in this time of war."

"Why aren't I killing you?" Kasei asked. "Why, it's because, even though your an enemy, your not real, your just a clone!" The Rebel Flame said, smiling. He then turned to Touken. "When the orriginal Sovelis came to Hyrule, it was through a rip in the barrier that keeps things outside of Hyrule. Lately, more and more tears are appearing in it." The shiekah explained.

OOC: Yes, Kasei thinks it's a clone because he thinks he killed the REAL Sovelis back in our lakeside fight.

"If I was a Doppleganger, then I wouldn't even exist unless the REAL Sovelis was alive. But I AM Sovelis, Kasei. Is that so hard to believe?" the Tempest smiled and then walked over to Aria. "Have you grown some? Your taller than when I last saw you, dear." he seemed oblivious, almost carefree somehow. Did he know something that the others didn't?

"And don't try anything. If you do, many innocent lives will be lost in the struggle. You wouldn't want that, now would you old friend?" he turned back to Kasei, his hand now digging in his cloak. "I wanted to give you something, something that I don;t need any more." Sovelis pulled a small, black ring out of his robes. "Remember this?"
