OOC: Written by Orpheous
Meanwhile, in an office only a few blocks down from the sight of the disappearance, Orpheous was deep at work. The office actually looked more like a study, with books strewn about everywhere. It had been a slow day for the Inkweaver, he was looking through a combination of ancient folklore and tedious law books. Actually, he read the folklore during his breaks to keep his mind off of the tedious law books. Suddenly, an intern (which the PFH seemed to have lots of) burst in swiftly.
"Sir," addressed the intern. The intern was in his mid-twenties, and his name was Craig. He typically ran messages from office to office, but in his spare time, he studied human psychology. He had light black hair that went down to the bottom of his neck, and his bangs went down to his steely gray eyes. His hair was layered, which seemed to suit him perfectly. He stood roughly six feet and four inches. He wore gray cotton pants and a fiery red tunic. He had an awkward disposition about himself, and seemed to doubt even his own skill. Despite the fact he was only an intern, he had worked his way into Orpheous circle of friends (not to be mistaken as his inner circle of friends). His accent was what Americans would call mid-western, but like anyone in Hyrule would know what that was.
"Hyrule knights have just let a thief slip in-between their grasp. This thief was later seen meeting up with somebody else, probably his partner in crime. Sadly, not much can be said about the two. However, some of us are beginning to theorize that they are extremely skilled. They seemed to have orchestrated the thievery almost perfectly. They could be what we need on the next mission."
"They could indeed," responded Orpheous happily. He was wearing his usual cloak and he had finally decided to submit to the cotton pants trend. He was bare foot, but his sandals were nearby. The Terminain watch glistened in the sun. "Tell me if they resurface as soon as they do, and start researching them. Also brief Simon and Stephan. We needed these two thieves yesterday."
"Understood," statted Craig, who briskly walked out. He later informed Simon and Stephan, and prepared those two to leave as soon as the thieves showed back up. They wouldn't escape a second time.

"Oh, that was so unpolite of him." Kasei said, apparently not noticing his freind Denkou on the verge of death. Instead, he faced Aria. "Go and do whatever you were up to, okay?" He requested, and his grandaughter smiled and turned to face Denkou with "REVENGE" printed all over her face.
In the meantime, Kasei turned his head a bit to look around. "Last time I checked, a PFH base was nearby, Orph might be there...." He said to himself, ignoring the moans of pain Denkou was giving off. He turned south, and headed to the office. When he got there, he pushed the doors open, and walked in. "Anyone here?" The blue-haired shiekah asked.
Meanwhile, Aria had left Denkou, who now lay, 2/3rds of his blood lost, on the ground. why does noone help me????

When Kasei burst into the facility that belonged to the People’s Front of Hyrule, he would have most likely noticed something. The PFH building was kept immaculately clean. Even should someone track mud onto the floor, the moment that the mud touched the ground, it would be vaporized. Same would go with dust, dirt, or other unwanted stains. The room was fairly large. A few decorations from Ryan’s house sparkled up the already mansion like interior. They were buying out land grants, and even as Kasei was getting acquainted with the building, construction was occurring near the back of the building to make it larger. The PFH was a very rapidly growing organization. Statues ranging from deadly foes and monstrous beasts to famous heroes and divine beings stood majestically in the three story room. Two three story staircases, which were, like most of the main room, covered with silver carpeting, reached to the top floor. Along the way, they stopped at a 2nd story hallway and a 3rd story hallway, both of which partially over looked the main room. There were doors leading everywhere. Training rooms, the offices of lower official’s, labs (which were fairly low tech), studies, small libraries, a few relaxation rooms, and much more, lay behind these doors. By now, though, Kasei should have noticed the desk in the middle of the room. One person sat at it, but since it was a lot of work, the desk people tended to work in shifts. There were large stacks of papers, and a handful of calendars. Should somebody contact the desk worker either through magic (which was easy to do, almost like calling somewhere with a phone, but there are no phones) or though coming up to them physically, the desk person’s job would be to get them an appointment, or put their name on a list or something. It was a very tedious job, and as soon as Orpheous figured out the spell to do it by magic, he would happily give the desk workers a better job. As for now though, there was no other option.
The person working at the desk might have been familiar to Kasei. His name was Bob. He first started helping out Orpheous during those skirmishes with Roronek, and then he later played a minor part in Montagomey. As soon as Orpheous founded the PFH, he nabbed the roll of a lower official, and even though he didn’t have to, he was volunteering to work at the desk. He wanted to give the rookies a break. He stood roughly six feet and two inches, and he had short red hair. His irises were a shade of dark hazel. He wore a simple brown tunic, cotton pants, and sandals. He had a faint Scottish accent, not that anybody besides Orpheous and a few others new about Scotland. Overall, his accent was more Mid Western American. He noticed Kasei and wanted to stand up in the presence of such a high up official in the PFH, not that he had to. However with all the papers around him, that might not have been the best idea. Instead he offered a wave and a smile.
“Hello there, Mr. D. Gobi,” he greeted, ending the wave. “What can I do for you today?”

As Kasei pushed open the doors, he took notice emidiately of how perfectly clean this place was. Too perfect for Kasei's taste.
Sure, he liked a bit of organization in his home, but he was one of those guys that only knew where something was when there was a mess. The Rebel Flame took a look around, and sighed at the lack of even a stack of needless papers, or even some spare food on the floor....he hoped this wouldn't take long.
As the clerk waved, Kasei waved back, and approached. He wasn't too comftorable with being addressed so properly. Still, this could probably work for his advantage.
"Uh, hello," He said, smiling, "I was wondering if Orpheous was here? I have something to talk to him about." Kasei asked the clerk.
OOC: This whole quote was written in several posts between Kasei and I in B&S. We are continuing the discussion in this new topic.
IC: "Yes, Orpheous is here," replied Bob. "He is in his office. Third floor, office on the opposite side of the room as the hallway the staircase leads to. You'll have to walk around the third floor hallways in a clockwise motion until you reach the end of the hallway. There will be a large silvermagic door. This will lead to his room. You might want to knock, as he dislikes it when people barge into his room without knocking. He actually isn't currently doing anything major, so you came at a good time. I can guild you up if you want? "

Kasei simply stood there for a minuet, taking in the instructions. After Bob had finished, Kasei simply stared at him. "Uh. . . . as wierd as those instructions were, i've seen worse." The Rebel Flame said. "I'll go myself, thanks." He finished, after thorough memorization, and headed off to follow the directions. At the end of the hallway specified, Kasei drew in a deep breath.
"Damn, these guys sure like to over exagerate." Kasei said as he knocked on the door. I wonder how much this all cost, and how much was taken out of my pocket. "Orph, you in there? We need to talk!" Kasei demanded.

"Come in, Kasei," stated Orpheous from behind the door. With theses words, the wooden looking door unlocked and opened itself. The room had nice furnishings, and with its magically tented windows, it looked out into the PFH entrance below. The room also doubled as a private library. As Kasei entered it, books began to magically put themselves back at their proper locations. A chair appeared out of thin air with a little muttering on Orpheous' behalf. Orpheous gestured for Kasei to sit down.
"You may wonder how I payed for this place, Kasei. Well, I can assure you, it is practically free. All I need are few workers, and enough paper to write down the list of materials needed. You wouldn't believe how much of my power was drained getting those materials though." Orpheous assumed Kasei had not forgotten of his talent. He then asked, "So, you wished to see me. What for?"

Kasei calmly took in the appearance of the room as he moved forward to take his seat, after all, this sort of thing was commonly seen in his travels. "Inkweaving, huh?" Kasei said to Orph's statement.
As he sat, he heard the question, and raised his head. "What for, Orpheous? Well, that much is quite plain," Kasei said, motioning to his temple, "As you already know, one of my affiliates, Xanatos, was killed in Rauru during the battle. This is common in my line of work. However, the killer was not. Know who it is?" Kasei asked.
He didn't need an answer. "Jormund Gobi, one of the vilest beings known to walk this earth. He has not been seen for a hundred years. For him to appear now, on the enemies side, means that our actual chances of winning this war are slim." Kasei said, "After all, the news just got here; that demon slew an entire party of hylian knights just a few days ago." The Rebel Flame finished, eyes closed. "I would ask you once again to come with me on a journey to fight him, but." He started, opening his eyes. "Gobi is too strong. Right now, I would ask you to go, and try to find any info you can on him." Kasei said. "Where he is, what he's doing, the likes."
OOC: Ya got that?

"Xanatos ... dead?" asked Orpheous in shock. He had clearly not been informed, but he quickly recomposed himself. "Don't worry, Kasei, I will put my finest agents, including myself on the fiends trail. Also, when you say Jormund Gobi, I assume he of is relation..."
Then it came back to the scribe. When he had visited Kasei at the ruins of his old village, he had mentioned his grandfather had destroyed it. "F***, are you talking about that AWOL psychopath who you call your grandfather, the one that murdered your whole village? No offense to you of course. After all, you are not your kin."
OOC: Also, after you answer, don't leave, Orpheous has to give you what you found in the cave.

Kasei was calm throughout Orpheous' statement, and waited for quite a large moment before replying, eyes closed, arms crossed;
"Yes, Jormund Gobi is indeed my grandfather, and the one who has single-handedly annhialated my race. It's kind of ironic, if you think about it." Kasei opened his right eye, a move Orpheous should recognize by now. "I don't know if you remember or not, but I am not . . . truly a shiekah warrior. No, my true lineage lies with an ancient race that thrived in this 'New Hyrule' long before Hylians ever existed. We were a race of shadows, similar in appearance to Wolfos, but faster, stronger, and far more intelligent. The issue regarding Jormund started many hundred years ago. When the ships carrying the Hylians arrived, my ancestors tried to make peace with the invaders."
"Things didn't work out so well. The Hylians took our beastly form as a danger and attacked. We fled. Soon, we realized that even our 'Gobi', leaders of the race, would be unable to defend our people, so we took a giant ultimative; we became Shiekahns, in form, so as to live among the Hylians in peace."
"Still, we died out, until that villiage in the desert was the only remaining safety of our race."
Kasei stared across. "You understand yet? My name is 'Gobi', my freind. I am a descendant of the leaders of my race, and so was Jormund. He believed that, by invoking the true form of our people and his true power as the leader, he would be able to destroy the Hylians and return us to the top of the 'food chain', as one would call it."
"It didn't work out well. He was consumed by the power, by the darkness that had accumulated for hundreds, no, thousands of years, and experienced maddening pain unimaginable. It drove him insane."
"When he took on the form of our ancestors, in his madness he attacked the villiage, killing the very people he sought to restore. When he gained control, it was too late, and he was maddened again; this time by the sight of his people dead by his hands."
The Rebel Flame nodded, ready to finish. "I know that Jormund Gobi has worked for Ganon up until his fall. I also know that he is searching for remnants of my people. This is why I keapt such a watchfull eye on Aria up until recently, and why I am training Worru."
Kasei finally finished his story, sitting back in his chair after talking for ten minuets. "Speaking of Aria, I need someone to look after her from now on while i'm at war. Do you have any freindy women around to care for her?"

"So, then, the truth finally comes out," Orpheous stated, in a sense of shock and wonderment. They had been there since before the time of the Hylians. That explained so much. "I am so sorry to hear," Orpheous stated about their tragic history. The Hylians were behind practically all their misfortunes. Until, they most likely lived in peace.
"I will track him down, and I will be his shadow. I will figure out why he is working with the Dark, that is, if it is about more than power. I will have a tab on him at all times. You have my word," stated the scribe, with a sense of sympathy for the cause and anger against Jormund Gobi.
"As for Aria," Orpheous continued, "I would suggest on of the girls with PFH, but they are all tied up in the war. If you want a woman to care for her, then Labufa might be your best bet (suggestion on Worru's behalf to me). However, I do hear Saber is protecting those in need (technically, that is where you sent her). Do what you want with her though, as she is your daughter."
"Also," stated Orpheous, getting up and reaching into an elaborate desk. He pulled out the items found in the cave. The encrypted papers, the keys, and the map. "This is what Stim and I found in the mines that you sent us to investigate in. The encrypted papers were in a room to themselves. There was a crypt there as well. A tomb of a Hylian soldier who had died with sword wounds. All that was let under the armor was bones. He had his weapons by his side, but I didn't take those, I have a policy of not disrespecting the dead. The map was in his rib cage and these keys were in his hand. There was a Terminian watch around his next, very similar to my own. I didn't find it necessary to remove the watch and bring it back. I had a retrieval team go fetch the body of the soldier and bring him back to North Castle for testing. He is actually right downstairs (sorry, if you didn't want me to bring him to the PFH to be tested on). We could check on him and see what else has come up on him if you wish."
OOC: I would really like to hear the rest of the soldier's story, and this gives me a RP chance. I assume you don't mind.

OOC: This is good. I had assumed you would send the body to a hopital for examining, but this is fine as well.
Kasei let out a chuckle. "Labufa? Sorry, I would rather not. Aria is tomboyish enough as it is. As for Saber; we tried, but she left the camp on her own. I guess i'll need to find a suitable babysitter now. . ." (Wish Sovelis was still a good guy. )
Kasei reached out then and took the things Orpheous provided; the most interesting thing was the map, in Kasei's oppinion; it looked to be a reverse coloring of the standard Hylian Map, with strange, purple and red lines running all over the field and mountains. "Why . . . these routes are . . . tunnels, the way they look." Kasei said in a hushed voice, then taking a look at the encrypted documents. "You said he had a Terminian watch? I've never been to Terminia. Also," He said, examining the key, "he must have died recently, maybe only a few months ago. Blood is still fresh on this key." The Rebel Flame stated, and stood up. "Yes, I am most interested in seeing the body, if you will." The shiekah offered.
OOC: Just PM me if you wanna know what your men found.

Orpheous nodded, in agreement with Kasei. Orpheous led Kasei out of the room and down to the labs. As they walked, Orpheous started a converstation. "Kasei," the scribe said to catch the Rebel Flame's attention, "I need to know something. You stated your tribe had been around from before the Hylians arrived. I doubt you were there when the Hylians first docked on the continent, but perhaps the history of your tribe buried in your head could fulfill my needs. You see, there was another group, a group of humans, who called themselves Caninians. They built an empire a long time ago on this continent, and it lasted until the Hylians showed up. They too were seen as threats, and many were killed. They are now broken up into several tribes. Do you know anything of them?" By the time Orpheous was finished, they were walking down the stairs to the labs.

Kasei descended a few steps, his hair grazing the cieling due to his height. He was searching his vast memory for the term. "Caninians, huh? Well . . . the word is old, that much is obvious. I might know a thing or two. If they are humans, then my race would have met them at a time or another. We were a group of migrators, we headed wherever there was plenty of food to feed us. If there was such an empire, I would have to consult another of the Seven Stars for the information. Perhaps Gor Gigan, he is the oldest; almost 6,000 years, I think. If he doesn't know anything, then it's unlikely i'll ever find out stuff." The Rebel Flame remarked, opening the doors to the lab after accepting a pair of gloves.
"Now . . . Let's see what we have here."

Orpheous nodded, understanding Kasei. He was shocked that the Rebel Flame didn't know more. None the less, he could ask one of the other seven stars. As they reached the labs, Orpheous, too, but on the gloves and went over to the body. He began to explain to Kasei what was found. "The Hylian male had died only a few months ago. He died of stab wounds, sword most likely. We also know that the flesh was forcefully ripped from the bone. The motives of this are unknown. Everything we found in the tomb had been regularly cleaned, making me believe it might have not been the dark who had made the tomb, or if they ever happened upon it. Very minimal blood was found in the tomb, but we did get some samples. There was ancient Hylian letters on the tomb, but they were scratched out. Their importance is questionable. We also know he had a ring on his left pinky finger by dust marks. However, it is gone now. As for the watch, we have found it out is much older than the body, and it is probably a family heirloom." The watch, weapons, armor, and sketches of the inside of the tomb sat nearby to the body laid across the table. Many eyes were inspecting it."

Kasei payed little attention to the items now, but listened closely to the description. After being silent for a few minuets, he looked to the man. "Have you been able to identify who this was?" He asked. "If the flesh was forcefully removed, then it is safe to assume that so were the letters. This means that the one, or ones, who killed this man didn't want his identity known. Also, although it might be unimportant; the ring. If there was dust marks, then it was removed fairly recently. Someone has already examined this body." He said.
"Here, see if the blood on this key matches the blood on the tomb. If i'm correct, than the key was placed there at the same time the ring was removed." The shiekah said, handing over the key.

Orpheous handed the key to some of PFH's chief scientists who once worked for Co. AHSK ( Corporation of Advancing Hylian Scientific Knowledge, the primary science group not under the command of the Royal Family). They ran a few test on the key using an odd machine, and they ran a few tests on the blood samples taken from the tombs. They came back to Orpheous and Kasei with the answer of __ (insert whatever Kasei wants the answer to be here).

The answers was negative. Kasei was correct. The blood on the key belonged to something else. "Well. . . now that we know that someone didn't want the identity of that man known, we will need to look up anything else. I looked over the papers that you gave me, Orph. They were written in a code in ancient Hylian. It'll take me some time to decode it, unless you would rather have one of your people here do so? If that's okay, then, i'll head to the cave soon. It should only take me seven hours to get there by horse. I'll try to see if there's anything else."
OOC: CSI: Hyrule combined with Pheonix Wright. Now we need a court, Sovelis can be the defence attorney.

"Yes, I believe I will have somebody here decode these encrypted pages," stated the scribe. "As for going to the cave, you can leave whenever you are ready. However, wouldn't it be faster just to warp?" asked Orpheous. There would have to be a good reason, unless he forgot, that Kasei would choose to ride a horse than to simply warp to a location.
