It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and the wind was blowing. But, for Kuro, something was off. As Kuro ran through the streets, he periodically looked back. Someone was chasing him. Kuro tried everything he could think of to lose whoever was after him, but none worked.

The man was wearing a yellow robe and was only a few feet away. As he was running he pulled purple powder out of a satchel, reached out, and rubbed it on Kuro's black vest, and ran away.

When Kuro noticed he was finally alone, he breathed a sigh of relief. It was cut short though by a loud scream as cuts appeared on his body. He fell flat on the ground, and lost consciousness.

OOC:This is my way of starting a story and meeting some other people.

OOC: I assume you know of NPC's. Well, my main character is Orpheous, but I am choosing to use my NPC Simon Grendel. I hope this is ok.

IC: Simon was again running errands for his master, Orpheous. Simon never complained about these things. He was enjoyed heading into the market. He was also a loyal apprentice, willing to do anything for Orpheous. He was carrying a pack full of items, and heading back to the People's Front of Hyrule's base at North Castle, where Orpheous would be waiting in his office. This time, it wasn't a simple grocery run, that is why Simon had been sent. There were a handful of items that Orpheous would only trust somebody as close to him as Simon was to fetch/drop off.

When Simon wondered into the unconscious boy, his first instinct was to call over some mages to heal the wounds. However, Simon was experienced enough, and he really didn't want to draw attention. He set down the bags, and fetched a nearby bucket of water. He had learned that this was the best way to snap somebody back into consciousness. Then, he threw the water onto the boy, hoping to wake him up. He wasn't going to begin to heal the boy without bringing him back into consciousness. If he came to while Simon was healing him, the boy might freak.

OOC: Sorry about the short post, I was having trouble thinking of how to make it longer.

OOC:It's fine by me if you want use a NPC.

The water woke Kuro from his unconscious state. He looked around and saw a man who he assumed had woke him up.Kuro was confused. "Who are you?" He asked while trying to stop himself from screaming in pain. He hadn't felt this much pain in his life, and he absolutely hated it.

"Simon Grendel, apprentice of the word-mancer Orpheous," stated Simon smoothly. He could tell the other boy was in pain. The roughly nineteen year old spoke again, "But don't worry about that. I'm going to heal you. This shouldn't hurt a bit." His hands were a few inches above the locations of the cuts on the skin, and he casted a healing spell, most likely life, on the boy. His hand moved up and down, like he was waxing a think glass window resting above the boy, as his hand never made contact with the boy. The cuts should have healed. He stood back, and offered his hand to help the boy up. If he was right, there would still be pain, but most of it should have resided. "And who are you?"

Cathy walked through the streets of the Castle Courtyard. She stopped short when she saw two unfamiliar boys. One who was hurt and another who seemed to be healing him. Cathy, being a curious and mean person, walked over to the boys. She waved one hand to them. "Well, well, weeellll..." She examined the two boys. "It seems like some kind of accident happened here. Care to explain?" The zora sat down and let her long legs stretch out on the ground. When people looked at her oddly, she just scowled at them and made sure that they walked away without a second glance to her.

OoC: Hi, I actually have two characters(I guess one is my NPC) but I like using Cathy more because she seems to make people scared.

With Simon's help, Kuro stood up. "Nice to meet you Simon. My name's Kuro," the seventeen year old replied. "You haven't seen a man running around in a yellow robe have you?" Kuro asked, remembering what had happened before he was knocked out. He then turned to the zora. "Well, for whatever reason, a man in a yellow cloak started to chase me. When he caught up to me, he spread some purple dust on me and the next thing I know I was cut up and unconscious. It was like being attacked by an invisible swordsman," he explained. "By the way,what's your name?" he asked the zora, "mine's Kuro."

"No I haven't, I'm afraid," stated Simon grimly. Then he noticed Cathy. Few adventures did he share with her, but one thing was certain, her powers to put fear in others had no effect on him. "Hey Cathy," he stated, almost as if they didn't need her around. "What were you up too before you decided to barge into the converstation uninvited?" he asked, this time, he wasn't being rude, only messing around. Then, he sensed something. Orpheous might call it something as cheesy as "a disturbance in the force." However, in actually, some people, like Orpheous could sense auras. Simon was indeed sensing an aura, perhaps because it was strong, or perhaps because Simon was just well trained. He tensed himself for something, anything...

"An invisible . . . swordsman, you say? Sounds a lot like Dogura, if you ask me. Maybe he has returned . . . ?" A voice said from the crowds, the possible source of the "aura". Kasei appeared suddenly, and it was shocking, too. Usually, his hight, combined with the usual style of his hair, made it easy to spot him. Today, however, he had not taken the time to style his hair, so now the blue fluff trailed down his face, making him look a lot like Alpha, as he had at least kept his ponytail. Also new to Kasei was his new attire. Sure, the shiekah would wear different outfits from time-to-time, but today was interesting;

He wore a stomach-length sleeveless vest with what appeared to be belts decorating the back, and a strap which could hold a sword. His pants were also different; they looked less baggy than usual, and had patches of chainmail all over them. This, combined with the scimitar at his side, made Kasei look more like a robber than an angelic servant of the gods.

He had cought the eyes of Simon and Cathy. "Before you ask: No. I did not lose a bet." The man remarked about his attire, which he obiously thought was rediculous. But he said no more on the subject. "On to more pressing matters. You, there." He said to the newcomer who was being helped, "My name is Kasei Dornmos Gobi. I overheard your conversation. Do you need aid?"

Kuro turned to face Kasei."My name's Kuro. It's nice to meet you," he said. Then his tone became serious."In fact, some help couldn't hurt. Have you seen a man in a yellow robe? He attacked me. Oh, and who's Dogura?"

"If I saw a man covered in yellow, I think that he would attract more attention than me," Cathy commented, glaring at the ground. She then eyed Kasei with some interest. "If you didn't loose a bet, buddy, then what hit you in the head this morning?" Cathy grinned widely, showing off her sharp teeth.

Cathy laid down flat on the ground. She placed her palms flat on the ground and kicked upwards. She got to her feet that way. Now finding herself towering over the boys, she sighed. "Well, my name is Cathy," she said, finally answering the boy.

"Nice to meet you Cathy," he said, then he sighed."Well, since nobody knows where he is, I'll just go look myself. If anyone wants to join me, they're more than welcome to. It's going to be a heck of a fight, and I'm not sure I can win on my own,"he said to the group and began to walk off to look around the castle.

Kasei looked slightly solemn at the question regarding Dogura. "Dogura . . . was a good man, who appeared very rarely. Recently, we have heard rumors of his death. Many of us do not want to believe it, because of his skill. I think the library might have records of him, if you need to look some info up." Then, he addressed Cathy after a few minuets with a leer.

"All of my other clothes are dirty today. Did you really think I would come to town wearing one of Aria's dresses?" He questioned vehemetly.

Cathy tried to keep a straight face. Her lips twitched until a smile spread across her face. She started giggling. Her giggling turned into full out laughter. "No, no," she gasped through laughs. "But. . .that would be funny to see." Cathy straightened up and took a few deep breaths to calm her down. "Well, boys, I'll be leaving and hoping that you find this man in yellow." She turned around and waved, but stopped and addressed Kasei:

"You do realize I'm going to find Aria now, don't you?" And with a grin, she left in a sprint.

Kasei only watched as Cathy left, the most hilarious look on his face. "N-no . . . you don't have to . . ." He started to say, as he dropped his head low. A nearby stand caught fire as he roared.

"Damn you, Cathy! I'll teach you to fear me!!!" He screamed after her.

Simon followed decided to help the boy. He called over to the boy walking away, "Hey, I'm in. I am always up to solve a mystery. Just wait up." Simon began to jog to catch up to the disappearing boy, not thinking of the other two. He decided that additional help from the PFH wouldn't be required and it would waste the PFH's time, so he decided not to go retrieve assistance from the PFH base.
