Aiden is new to the life of Hyrule, she was kept well within her culture and managed to avoid most of the previous happenings. Of course she heard about them, she often dreamed of somehow being a key part of the outside world. Now, with her family's blessing she's free to explore, but has much to learn. She has very little knowledge of the outside and is in great need of a guide to teach her all the common curtisies. In fact, if she saw something as 'strange' as a goron she might just get up real close to study the poor being as if it were a part of a museum. Sometimes she even slips from common to ancient without the slightest clue. Her parents hope she'll not only learn about the world, but also out grow her fantasy with it. Then maybe she'll agree to them picking her out a groom.

Outline Option #1:

When Aiden was born her mother was considered infertile, so Aiden was a gift from the heavens; a miracle. Her father wasn't in the picture much, at least not at first. Once he realized her mother was indeed and for sure pregnant he took on his role as father without complaint. Already rumors started about the unborn child, after all it was a miracle. Not many babies were born and this one to a woman who was never supposed to have one. Some claimed the baby would be the one to save their race, others that the child would save the royal family, but all believed the child would play a key role in Hyrule. When Aiden was born all were shocked, they had never thought the child would be born a girl. How could a girl change the world? The rumors continued but they changed to a negative stance. Her gender was not the only reason, it was also because she wasn't born alone, she had a twin; her brother.

The Sheikah thought her brother was the one, and Aiden had somehow killed him in the womb. Not only that, but her eyes.. they were not normal. The rumors turned to her being the end of their race, ending the royal family, but they still said she would impact Hyrule. Both her parents ignored the rumors and loved her, probably a bit too much. She was an unexpected child and all they wanted to do was protect her. They taught Aiden at home after school turned out to be a problem. Her bedtime was always eight, or earlier. Aiden was taught that violence was never the answer to the other children's teasing, or to anything for that matter. Her father and mother both struggled with the other Sheikah, the others wanted them to get rid of Aiden, but they stood by their daughter. It made getting work hard and they often got cheated in the local stores. Even if they never admitted it, Aiden knew it was her fault. She was not deaf, blind, or stupid, and the adults weren't hiding their feelings.

All this in combination made her younger years difficult, she would listen to any story of the outside world and would glue herself to any outsider. She loved her parents, but hated them at the same time for keeping her so sheltered. No one in the town would talk to her without some sort of disgust, even teachers at the school supposedly educated people, and no one would ever look her in the eyes. Kids her age were often mean to her, they would throw things at her, tease her endlessly, and once they pretended to accept her and got her lost in the dark. Maybe thas's why the story about Link's childhood amused her, let her know she wasn't the only one. The only thing she had was her music.
