Surrender of a Troubled Soul

A crowd of people had surrounded a darkly robed man that had sudenly appeared out of thin air. The infamous 'Tempest' had stood there, calling out to any guards within ear shot that a dark general had come to surrender... and that cry had not fallen on deaf ears. Now, several armored and heavily armed Royal Guards had circled him, blades drawn as they waited for reinforcements...
"I... Sovelis Magelion Li'ano Liadon, am here to surrender myself to the Authorities of Hyrule..." He spoke calmly, his arms hanging limply at his sides as he looked to the sky. "I have come to repent and pay for my crimes against the people of this land...."

"What's he doing?!?" Arrika hissed. She paced back and forth restlessly, a few feet away from behind the guards, but was currently invisible under her Shadowmeld. "Please, please be a trap. Or something. Of all the stupid things he could do, he had to give himself up?!"
"Yeah, you'd think being a fancy Dark general would keep him occupied," a familiar voice commented. Seth calmly strode forward to stand next to her. To all other eyes, he looked like a young Hylian child alone and watching the commotion.
"You can see me?" Arrika said, astounded. "Or have you always been able to?"
Seth grinned devilishly before striking a certain spot on the side of the Sheikah's head, causing her to cry out in pain and fall to the ground. Whatever Seth had just done to her had also caused her Shadowmeld to falter for a few crucial seconds...

Wait, this wasn't possible. Vilk had been informed that Sovelis would stay by the side of the Dark. If they lost him, it could be something deadly to the war effort. Crouching on a rooftop, he got out a crossbow, lining Sovelis in the range of fire. If he wasn't faking, he would have a bolt through his head in a matter of seconds. And once that was taken care of, he would tell on of the King's crooked advisers to inform the king that there was a second shooter. After all, he had a fall guy that was already going to take the blame for this shot, but if he gave the Royal Court a conspiracy theory that flied, they would be too busy to figure out who the second shooter was to know that the fall guy was really just that, a fall guy. He could see it now, looking over magical security system video's. "Back, and to the left," it would rewind. "Back and to the left," they would rewind it again. "Back and to the left," and so on. That would be exactly how it would go.
Meanwhile, at ground level zero, Silna was meeting Ryan about an important mission. However, it appeared that the mission was going to have to wait. Sovelis had decided to infiltrate the castle. They had always suspected he was truly evil. Then he announced it. He was surrendering himself over, and leaving the Dark. She asked a guard running to bind him, "What do you intend to do with him (and Sovelis, you would have to answer for the guard)?"

OoC: Lol. the bolt would just get stuck in his thick skull XP
IC:
The guard looked away from Sovelis, his blade still pointed at the man. "We aren't sure ma'am... we have to wait for reinforcements to arrive so we can take him into custody... he is one of the Dark Generals...." he looked back to Sovelis, his face blank.
The Ex-General smirked up at Vilk, mouthing a smart remark to the man as he waited. "If my intentions aren't clear enough, then maybe this will change your minds..." He pulled out his sword form his cloak, and tossed it to the ground at one of the guards' feet. "That is my blade. I willingly give it up... For peace..."

Kin had seen what has happened. He was using shadowmeld to sneak behind Solevis. He jumped over the guards and got behind Solevis. Shadowmeld wore off. Kin looked at Solevis and whispered "I can help you, or are you being a fool and giving up." Kin didn't know the guy but wanted to help. Kin looked evil today. He was wearing a pitch black cloak. His face was covered by a black silk mask. His jet black hair with purple streaks covered his face. So no one could tell who he was.
OOC: Hi everyone. I read this and thought it would be fun so I joined.

"Lies." An old voice called from amidst the crowd. It was Denkou, lightning thief. The blond youth walked forward as people moved out of his way. "What kind of proof is that? It doesn't matter where your weapon is, you can kill us with a snap of your fingers, right?" The thief protested, but was stopped by a hand that appeared in front of him, Gor Gigans giant arm. The Goron looked down at Sovelis with contempt in his eyes. "You arrre Sovelis . . . . you have given Hyrrrule much Grrrief in the past months . . . . . If you wish to surrrendurrr. . . . then so be it. But I warrrn you . . . no trrricks." The rock being said, opproaching the tempest.
On a nearby rooftop, two infividuals looked down at the scene; Kasei D Gobi, and Nogare. "Well, does it look like he's telling the truth?" The son of grayblade asked. Kasei shook his head. "I have every bit of confidence that this is a trick on his behalf. He never did stop scheming."

"Who's that?" Seth said blandly as he stared at Kin. "Wait, I know him..."
"Friend of yours?" Arrika spat, straightening. To her dismay she found she could not withdraw into her Shadowmelded state anymore. If Sovelis isn't drunk, because that's the only explanation I can come up with for what he's doing, then I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Seth's friend isn't part of the plan.
The Sheikah thief drew five deadly, poison-tipped senbon from one of her pockets and let them fly towards Kin, one straight for his heart, two for his eyes, and the other two for his jugular. Just being Seth's friend was enough reason to kill him.
"He's not my friend," Seth said obstinately, reading her mind. "He cries too much."

"I have no tricks up my sleeves, Gor... I swear it by my immortal soul. He took a step away from Kin, ignoring the rash youth and Arrika's actions. "I am here only on my own behalf... Sovelis held his arms out, expecting to be shackled. "I do not want anymore bloodshed so I am coming forward to give myself up peacefully...." The Tempest flicked his head, tossing his long hair out of his eyes as he looked up at the Goron. "Its time to put an end to this senseless war...."

Kin was fast enough to move his arms to caught the senbon. He missed the one going for his heart. Kin did move, but it hit him. It went through his arm. Kin put his arm there and seen the attacker. " He ran at here hoping someone would end his pain in his arm. It was burning and the poison started to react. Then Kin vision faded and he he fell on the ground holding his arm where it went through.
"Why did you do this to me?" Kin stood up. Blood went off his arm andthen Kin fell back down. He the yelled out in pain "WHHYYYYY?" Kin then started to cry.
OOC: Didn't expect that.

So many victims, so much power. Vilk could change the course of history right now by killing Sovelis, on of the many other significant people down there. He was a little shocked at Sovelis' betrayer, and he thought greatly about killing him. However, he didn't see it fit. Instead, he re-aimed his cross bow. Then, he shot. Missing the head of the Tempest by mere inches. His fall guy took his place as he became like a thief in the night, gone without a trace. Yes, there would be another shooter on the nearby rooftop. "Back and to the left indeed," muttered Vilk, escaping the scene of the crime.
Meanwhile, another guard who wasn't useful for much quickly caught the fall guy, taking him into Hylian Custody, days later, in a court of law, he would testify that he was guilty, it was his job. If was lucky, his organization might, I repeat, might rescue him.
Silna simply nodded at what he guard who she stopped had to offer. She and Ryan gathered in to listen to Sovelis' words to Gor. After he stated that it was time to put an end to the war, she asked him, "Than can you share with us any useful information as to taking down their command center, so we can capture their leaders and force them to surrender as well?"

"You Arrrre a troubled Soul . . . Tempest . . . ." Gor Gigan said, and manipulated his power over earth to bind Sovelis' hands together with stone. "You will. . . . not be a thrrreat at the moment." He said. "Simply by surrrenderrring yourrrself, you canot end the warrr . . ."
Kasei picked up his weapon. "Comeing?" He asked Nogare, who smiled and nodded. The two of them descended from the rooftop and began moving towards Sovelis. Kasei, however, know that something wasn't right. And he was correct.
Jormund Gobi had appeared in an empty ally, ready to strike down the traitor.

"A pointless conversation. One of them will be arriving soon to take me out before I can give you any information... " He smiled sadly at Silna, his face showing almost none of the malice it had before during any of the battles. "And even if I did speak, It wouldn't matter. They will only move their base of operations to another place, Miss. They ha-"
He cut his words off quickly, turning to look in the direction of a massive power that had just appeared. "Dammit... My time's already up... Quickly! Run you fools!!!!" *he pulled his hands free effortlessly and snatched his sword up. "I will stall Him while you all escape! NOW RUN!!!!" The Tempest dashed over the crowd and towards his foe... Jormund Gobi.

Kasei and Nogare were both en route to Sovelis when the Tempest flew past overhead. Not a second later, both of them registered the massive power source that was Jormund Gobi.
"A trap?!" Kasei asked. Nogare thought it over for a second. "If it is, it's really cheesy." He replied, and both of them turned around, and followed Sovelis to the source of power; the giant of a man who had stepped out of the allyway. Already, nearby Hylian Knights and Guards fell dead, with an unpassionate Gobi looming over them.
"Sovelis, look what it's come to." The two hundred year old giant called out to the oncomming tempest. "Will you not return to the army peacefully?" He suggested, his beard flowing in the wind.

Sovelis looked up at the beaded Giant, smirking. "No Jormund. This ends today! I will personally crush you and bring salvation upon my already dammed soul!" the Tempest drew his blade, opening the lowest of his Limit Seals with a thought. "I can overwhelm even you if I unleash my full power into the Physical world.... You cannot win." He pointed the katana at Gobi, his expression growing stern and dark. He waited for Kasei and Nogare to draw closer before he stepped forward, closing the distance between himself and the Dark General in a flash, blade arcing through the air like quicksilver.

"I'm not going anywhere," stated the woman, calm as calm could be. Staying calm in danger seemed to be a powerful asset to her. Silna then shouted to Ryan, "Go fetch Orpheous, Bou, and any other able body who you think stands a chance. Just make sure Simon doesn't tag along." She then prepared her dagger and shield, and got ready to dodge any attack that might come at her.
