Hyrule Adventures 2

Rafael stepped once more in the arena to introduce the next two combatants. He was beginning to get more comfortable with announcing, but wasn't quite adjusted. Flying to the air, he introduced the next set of combatants. "For this match, we have two strong competitors here! The nomad Kuro, and Akisu, the vagabond!" As soon as Kuro's name was called out, the crowd went crazy with excitement. Many of them had been waiting to see him, and they were finally getting the chance.

Their excitement level lifted as he stepped onto the arena. He sported a black long sleeved shirt with a purple jacket over the shirt. His pants were black, and his boots were the usual brown. He unsheathed the sword that was strapped to his back and waved awkwardly to the crowd. He wasn't used to attention, specifically the attention of a rather large amount of people, but he was playing the part at least.

Well, for a while he was playing the part. When the crowd wouldn't calm down, Kuro gave a cold stare to them. They were quickly stunned into silence by the glare. Why would Kuro do this? He simply didn't like attention. Call it modesty or whatever else you want, he simply disliked being put on the spot.

He was finally calmed down now, since the crowd was silenced. He looked around for his opponent, Akisu. He should be here, he thought to himself, but shrugged it off, hoping he would come soon.

OOC: Akisu gets to go first.

Akisu did not get any fan support just as he expected. Kuro was a killer and Akisu knew that. he pulled out his dagger and shield most didnt even know he had a dagger. The crowd bood him. someone threw somthing in his jet black hair if he didnt what to give away the fact that he had a dagger he would kill the person. Akisu jumed and slashed at Kuro.

The attack was sudden; Akisu had arrived much later than expected. It felt like weeks, but wasn't really that long. No matter the time Kuro had waited, his opponent came, and quickly attacked. It wasn't really a good attack. It missed completely; Kuro didn't even need to move a muscle to dodge the blow (1+3[roll+AGI] vs. 17+3[DEF+AGI]). As soon as the crowd saw that the attack had missed, they began cheering and telling Akisu to keep up the good work and not change a thing. This was quickly stopped by yet another cold glare shot at them by Kuro.

Rafael said nothing since the crowd clearly realized what had occurred. They were shocked to see how Kuro had reacted to them. He seemed cold-blooded today. Truth be told, he hated fan support. "Don't ever do that again," he said to the crowd, further enforcing his feelings.

"You might regret fighting me," Kuro said, facing Akisu from a close proximity. He hadn't moved from his position yet, nor did he intend to. He placed his right gloved hand over a mark on his left, and made a sweeping motion causing his right hand to become enveloped in flames. "Eat fire!" he shouted, shoving the small inferno into the ranger's gut. Akisu can't resist any of the spell (7+1[roll+SPI]), losing 11 HP through the course of the spell, finally dieing down after it's extent is reached.
