PROLOGUE: A lesson in betrayal
A warm east wind caused the trees to gently sway and the leaves to rustle quietly, whispering a soothing lullaby of nature. It was night. The forest was dark and quiet. Through the canopy, the full moon was partially visible, hovering in a sea of blackness like an island in the sky. Though the foliage was dense, some of the moonlight still managed to penetrate the trees and cast its beams to the forest floor. However, the tranquil night was not enough to mask the deadly conflict that moved about the wood. Two figures dashed from the darkness and through a pocket of the moon’s illumination. For a split second, they were visible in the light, only to disappear again as their hasty movements returned them to the safety of the shadows.

Sweat beaded on his brow as he ran. The evil was all around in the forest. It swept through the trees like the wind, moving swifter than any human could pace. Fatigued, the lead figure motioned to stop. There would be no more running. The enemy was too close and too many in numbers. Also breathing heavily, the second figure flanked the first, melting deeper into the shadows by pressing close to the base of one of the trees. After a short nod from the first figure, they both drew their swords, moving carefully and silently, making sure the reflective metal avoided the beams of moonlight. The slightest glint of mirrored light could betray their positions and their already diminished element of surprise, something they could not afford. However, those who pursued them took no such precautions. Spying from behind the trees, Tyson could see their approach.

Moving in a line that stretched through the wood, five Hylian knights strode through the underbrush. Here and there, they would become briefly visible as they broke through a beam of light. A glimpse of a shoulder, the tail end of a cape being tugged by the wind…the dark gleam of a drawn sword.

"This is it," Tyson whispered to his companion. "We fight now." Tyson saw the movement of a nodding shadow acknowledging his words. "I’ll attack to the left, and you cover my flank, just like always." Another nod. We must succeed here tonight. To fail is to die and dying is not what I had in mind. Tyson looked the other way to where he knew was the edge of the woods. We’ve been lucky to evade capture with this forest as cover. There is no way we can traverse the field without being found…and what would keep the Hylian knights from pursuing us if we got to Hyrule castle anyway? We will get there and attack!

Tyson felt a surge of determination. Failure is unacceptable. Once again, he glanced at the second figure, still holding steady at his post, waiting for the signal to attack. The movement of the trees swaying back and forth caused the beams of light from the moon to shift throughout the wood. The light skittered briefly across his face. The boy’s Blond hair was wet with perspiration. His red eyes glinted with determination and fear. He stood perfectly motionless apart from his nervous fiddling with the leather strap on the hilt of his sword. He’s only fifteen, Tyson thought. I feel bad for him, his parents being killed by the invasion and all. It’s sad what this world has come to.

The sounds of snapping twigs and shuffling leaves drew nearer. Tyson took one deep breath, and then another. Relax and concentrate, he ordered himself. Hugging the base of the tree, he strained to hear for their approach. While staring blankly ahead, it finally struck him how beautiful the woods were. The heavenly rays of moonlight flitted about in random patterns, offsetting the thick, dark silhouettes of proud trees. The forest was at peace, calm and content. Then it hit Him. His old friend appeared. Sukotsutsu!

"Next time I get the chance," Tyson promised," I am going to Kill you!" Of course, he often planned to do that, and other such things, whenever the circumstances got to be as dire as they were. Killing his old friend, after all the fun they had, all the memories.

Glancing back at his partner, Tyson got a glimpse of his face as the light once again shifted in the wind. His countenance had an expression of terror burned on it, his red eyes wide as saucers. He was shaking with fear.

Tyson swung his sword from the red hult at the man. The sword glimmered in the moonlight hitting the branch and getting stuck. Sukotsutsu dissapeared. Tyson pulled his sword out of the branch and looked to see his partner. He was gone!

"Where did you go Markus," He said as he was struck with fear. Sukotsutsu was right behind him with a sword he picked up from Markus. "This is a lesson in betrayal!" Sukotsutsu flipped the sword over and slammed the black hult into his head. Tyson was knocked out. His cold motionless body then fell to the ground.

Sukotsutsu's revenge wasn't over yet.

Sukotsutsu jumped to the ground and ran off as the moonlight hit him. He was getting tired as he ran to the castle. He was getting so tired that his eyes kept closing. He fell down. He hit his head on a rock.

What a night it has been. Chasing Tyson and Markus since that night. Then finding them and killing only Markus. Tyson was the main enemy, Markus was only his guinea pig. Killing a friend was going to be hard.

It seems like blood was spilling.

Kairos raised his hand over his face in horror as he viewed murder through his psychic powers. The Hylian stood alone on the castle walls, glancing out endlessly into the night . . .

"You had better get rest." A voice ordered. It was Kasei, who was now next to Kairos. "I'll go see what's happening." The Rebel Flame assured, and sped off towards the commotion . . .

OOC: You didn't really give much to work with. XD

Ahh, the moonlight in Hyrule, Luna though as she strolled liesurely through Hyrule Field, taking in the glow. There was something soothing about that celestial sphere, always constant and reliable, unlike everything else in her life. And, being her namesake, the connection was a deeply personal one. She remembered the days, so long ago, when her father would wake her from her sleep and take her by the hand, leading young Luna outside. With one fell swoop, he'd gather her up in his arms and point to the largest heavenly body, explaining to her what her name ment, and how she fit in that dazzling array of light.

Returning her gaze to the ground ahead of her, and thus bringing her thoughts back down to earth, the girl focused once again on the matter at hand. How to get more rupees, she pondered. The fact of the matter was, she and Kumori were running short on those sparkley little gems, and rent wasn't getting any cheaper. While her mind spun this idea around, again and again, she returned her gaze to the sky, as if looking for an answer.

She got her wish, however, as she tripped over something, nearly landing face-first. Luck was on her side tonight, and she was able to break the fall with her hands. As she stood up and brushed herself off, she couldn't help but notice the body laying on the ground. Curious as to why someone would choose to conk out in the middle of the field, she stood up and poked the body with the toe of her boot.

Sukotsutsu was having a nightmare. A nightmare of fierce creature attacking him, Ripping him to shreds, Holding him down. Sukotsutsu was being incased by a black flame darker then night itself Then tyson walked over and said "Finally the end is here, you're finished." Tyson took the sword that he had and jabbed it into the stomach of Sukotsutsu.

Then He let out a yell waking hisself up. He then noticed the girl stand over him kicking him. "Who are you and what are you doing?" Sukotsutsu said as he stood up, getting the dirt off of his cloak. He was wearing a black cloak on. Under the black cloak was a black shirt that with a ripped up purple scarf around his neck. He was wearing black pants with a few cuts in them.He put the hoody over his head making a shadow form over his face covering his cyan blue eyes.

OOC: I'm brain dead...I'll add details and stuff later. Also if there are grammer problems tell me so I can fix them.

Luna was startled by the yell, but quickly recovered. "I'm not kicking, I'm poking. That's what people tend to do when a body is laying on the ground," Luna replied. With a wicked grin she added, "I could have kicked you if I wanted to, but I figured that would be a pretty crummy way to wake up."

"Sorry, I was having a nightmare." He said. "Hey do you want to help me recruit some people?" He said to Luna in a nice and gently voice. It was about noon now so he took his hood off. He then unzipped his cloak revealing a black shirt under it. He then tooked off the purple scarf and looked at Luna and said "Hey do you want this scarf?"

OOC: I've planned this all out. We are in part 3 recruiting people. I wrote this out on a notebook.

Luna was taken aback by the stranger's friendliness. Why is he being nice to me? I just poked him with my foot like some sort of dead carcass. What a wierdo, she thought. "And no thanks, I have my own scarf," the girl replied, tugging at the indigo fabric that hung around her neck. "I might help you, but tell me this, why were you lying in the middle of a field anyway? Someone knock you out?"

Sukotsutsu took the scarf and put it back on his neck. "I was not knocked out, I passed out." Sukoutsutsu said as he looked down at his feet and a tear fell from his face. "It's a long story."

OOC: I'm sorry it is short I'm have little time.

IC: The shadows were infinitely deep at night, allowing any standard Shiekah to become one with them. A particular patch of darkness was visible, it was a certain Rebel Flame who had followed Luna out here.

Kasei shadowed the group, smiling plesantly, and keeping his distance. The night itself would not know he was there if he didn't want it to. The shadows enveloped him, keeping him far out of sight and sound. Well, it seems as thouh we have quite the interesting man here tonight.

The man stayed still, noone would know he was there. He would wait, and see if this new man was freind or foe. The moonlight would tell.

What just happened? Did I say something wrong? Luna thought as she watched a tear run down the stranger's cheek. She couldn't stand it when people cried, especially men. It always made the situation uncomfortable for her.

"Don't go getting all teary-eyed, that's not going to help matters any. What happened that could possibly be so bad? You still haven't mentioned how you ended up passing out here."

IC: Sukotsutsu wiped the tears from his face and looked up. " I said it is a long story, ok" Sukotsutsu said it like he was a jerk. " I'm sorry for being mean it is just that it is hard to explain" He said. Sukotsutsu was going to tell her sooner or later, but not in public. If she agrees to travel with me I'll tell her he thought.

OOC: Ok, I had an idea. Do you want this to be stat based or do you want it to be RP based? I can GM so what every you pick wouldn't matter. My vote is stat based.

Here is my npc Brianna.

IC: Brianna was walking around looking at the many people passing by her. Brianna has blond hair with two light blue streaks. She was wearing a pink shirt with a heart by her right shoulder, and a light coat over it, which is an aqua blue color that matches her eyes. She was also wearing a skirt which matches her shirt and goes to her knees. It is pink with a heart on the right side. Brianna noticed a 18 year old kid, Tyson. She took her deku dagger from her pocket and throw it at tyson. He let out a yell that revealed how much pain he was in.It hit him right in the shoulder blade. As the dagger fell down to the ground he started to run leaving a trail of blood. Brianna ran to grab the dagger. Then she sprinted to catch up with Tyson. Tyson was out of sight for now, but that didn't stop her.

Brianna was running so fast that she couldn't stop herself. She ran into Sukotsutsu. As they both fell to the ground, Sukotsutsu grabbed her and made it were she wouldn't hurt herself. She opened her eyes and freaked out when she noticed that the person she fell on was Sukotsutsu. "Hi, remember me," She yelled!

OOC: That is it for now! With my npc here, my post will be longer. Yaa!!!

A rogue shadow flashed through the night, darting within the shelter of the trees looming on both sides of her. No traces of moonlight made it into the forest tonight, the trees were blocking it out with their wood tendrils, reaching up towards the sky like old friends. Sasha couldn't help but feel overjoyed, at home in her element. She breathed in the night air deeply, shadow and forest becoming one on this night. But something was out there, and she pushed her joyful mood aside, letting the caution flood her body. Eyes narrowing, she thought she heard a yell coming from the direction of the castle, but she couldn't be sure.

She rushed out of the thicket of the forest, out of the protection, and into the field leading towards the castle. Indeed, atleast three dark figures were out there, one making quite a fuss, the other seemed to be talking as well, and the other just standing there, looking dumb. This wasn't their place to be, at this time of night. Sinister things could be lurking here still. She didn't realize she had been biting her lip until she tasted the saltiness of blood in her mouth. Releasing her lip, she decided she would go confront these figures in the night.

Sasha kept her dagger at her side as she sauntered over to where the group stood. That's when she first noticed the other dark shadow, lurking somewhere near. It seemed to be watching the other two. She grinned mockingly, Nice hiding spot. she laughed inwardly. She purposely rustled her feet in the grass, drawing attention to herself, yet still in the shadows, her face covered with lengths of cloth, and her tunic blowing lightly in the cool breeze.

"And what business do you have to be out here at night, making such a fuss? Isn't it a bit..." she looked at them skeptically, "Dangerous, for ones such as yourself?" Sasha kept her voice light, but it hinted at a bit of annoyance at the loud racket they were making. If it came to it, she would fight, but for now she would find out what they were out here for.

IC: Kasei listened into the darkness. It was obvious to him that he was probably not needed here, but still, something kept him from simply leaving, something tugged at the back of his mind.

Then. a newcomer arrived out of nowhere. Kasei listened to her quick insult. What? By the looks of her, she's not older than 17, she shouldn't be out here, either. He thought, but then again, he should know better than to judge by appearance, after all, he was over a hundred, and still looked like he just got out of high school!

OOC:Where is Luna???

IC: Sukotsutsu got up recovering from the fall. "How have you been, BreBre," He said to Brianna.
"Nothing, you," she said back.
"Nothing at all, young lighning," She said remimbering his nickname. The both hug and looked at everyone.
"Who was you chasing," sukotsutsu asked. The guy did leave a trail of blood, so he knew that he did something to make her mad.
"It was Tyson," she said in a mad way.

OOC: I'm waiting for Umbreon to post and I'll post longer. There will be a Shadow dungeon topic up and running sooner or later. There will also be a Topic introducing my Zora. It will be up sooner then the shadow dungeon topic I hope. It will be called In the domain. It will involve a dungeon, too. Also my tavern topic is up ( the milk bar).

Luna was just about to reply to the newcomer when another girl showed up and started create a scene. Ignoring the reunion Luna replied to the strange girl, "Dangerous? Please.... Darkness is my element, I'm most comfortable at night. Besides, what business do you have here? Last time I checked, we weren't bothering anyone by conversing in the middle of a field. Raising a ruckus in town is one thing, but there's no one out here to bother."
