"You'll miss it, won't you?"

Sakiko sat at the bottom of the great tree, leaning her back against its sun-kissed bark. She lazily closed her eyes for a brief second, her gray eyes - once so cold and gray - gazed at the warm grass shivering ever so slightly. A pair of legs swung from above, barely missing the mage's silvery head. Zeze sat on the strong limb, chewing on a piece of leaf thoughtfully, her emerald eyes wandering dreamily across the rich, vibrant colors of the field.

"No."

A distant bird chirped in the distance, its song low and wavering.

"You're coming back, aren't ya?"

Sakiko responded with a shrug, her gaze drifting to a small satchel beside her. She had packed only what was absolutely necessary, regretfully leaving all of her books at her temporary home. Perhaps, when it would be abandoned by Masakazu, she'd find another traveler resting there when she came back. Perhaps it'd be torn down by a great storm.

A whisper of wind danced across the field now, gently brushing her silver hair. Sakiko breathed in slowly, smelling the sweet scent of grass and nature. Of Hyrule.

Zeze slid down the tree gracefully, landing on the ground beside Sakiko with a small cloud of dust.

"Well, so you're really gonna go?"

The mage smiled slightly, her face upturned towards the sky. It was rather chilly; the month of September had arrived, and summer was ending its rule here in Hyrule. The seasons passed and went, just like travelers. Just like her, she supposed. It was rather a romantic perspective of this bittersweet leave of Hyrule. She would come back; aged a little, perhaps.

Sakiko stood up, grabbing her belongings as she did so. She walked a few steps, and turned around to see Zeze quickly wipe away a tear. A miniscule grin crept up her lips as the mage muttered,

"Actually, I think I will miss Hyrule. Maybe."

Zeze put her hands on her waist.

"What about me and your buddies?"

Sakiko turned back around, the sun hitting her back as she did so.

"Don't get your hopes up."

And as she walked, the mage wondered if she'd come back with a warm heart and a friendly smile. But somehow, deep inside, she knew that she'd be the same Sakiko as long as she died - cold, bitter, and a bit sentimental in the inside.
