Hyrule Adventures 2

"It's finally the last match of the second round!" Rafael shouted over the intense cheers that became louder with his announcement. The Rito had abandoned his fancy soaring for standing. At least for now. He took off in a hover just above the crowd. "For this match, we have Luna, the skilled thief, and Kasei, the rebel flame, who didn't get to fight last round. Let's see how they do," he said, flying around in weird angles to gain a vantage to announce the fight from.

OOC: Kasei gets to go first.

Kasei smiled a bit as he heard cheers from the crowd. He walked up to the stage of battle slowly, savoring the moment. After all, it has been some time since he was able to enjoy a good battle. As he walked up the small stair to the arena, he looked around. There was quite a lot of people today, and so beautiful out.

Looking across from him, he spotted Luna, who had also entered the stage. "Let's have a memorable fight, eh?" The Rebel Flame called out to her, before clapping his hands together, quickly starting off the match with his signature spell; [FIRE]. He summoned a rather large fireball into the palm of his right hand, the left hand was on the pummel of his sheathed sword.

"Think fast." The Shiekah said, and tossed the fireball at her like a baseball.

((OOC: I've been busy lately, so I just want to reserve this post for later. I'll write soon, I promise!))

The small inferno charges toward it's target undeterred by anything that might possibly come in it's way. The fireball collides with it's target. Luna is unable to resist it (18+1[roll+SPI]), and is dealt a hefty 18 damage.

OOC: Kasei: HP-40, SPL-20

Luna: HP-23, SPL-9

Luna was knocked back several feet by the blast, and landed on her back in the dirt. Ugh, Kasei so soon in the tournament? I might as well give up, there's no way I can beat him, She thought as she sat up and dusted herself off. No, I can't back down now, that's what weaklings do. I won't back away, I have to do my best and loose with at least a shread of dignity left.

Jumping to her feet, Luna grabbed her knife and stood twirling it with her fingers. "You want a memorable fight, huh?" She replied cooly. "Then I guess I'll have to give you one!" She held her knife and with a final shout, rushed up to Kasei and lunged at his chest.

I'M ALMOST BACK!!!!

The move came up short by a small margin (2+6[roll+AGI] vs. 7+2[AGI+DEF]). Some members of the audience grew wide-eyed as they realized that Kasei hadn't been hit as they had seemed to believe. "This might be a close fight folks!" Raphael shouted after making the same same realization as the audience.

OOC: Ugh, that was a horrible post, but I can't think of much else...

Kasei: HP-40, SPL-20

Luna: HP-23, SPL-9

OOC: well . . . poop.

IC: Kasei smiled a bit as he dodged to the side. As fast as the wind, he grabbed his blade with his right hand, and drew it out of it's resting place at his side. He held it lightly, and waited a second, analyzing his opponent.

Minuts would seem to go by, until, in a flash, Kasei lashed out at Luna, curving his blade to attack her shoulder.

Kasei's attack hit it's mark doing ( 4+18(roll+agi) vs. 20 (def+ agi)) 13 dmg. The crowd yelled and lifted a sign up for Kasei who just hit Luna's shoulder. "Who will win, who will lose, let's find out," Said the annoucer.

OOC:I'm the new Gm by the way.

"Ugh," Luna grunted, clenching her teeth against the searing pain. He's way out of my league, but I can't give up. If I can just get in a few hits before he beats me, that'll be enough, she thought as she held her shoulder. Her hand was covered in blood when she slowly removed it.

Dagger in bloody hand, she crouched and lunged at Kasei, attacking low at his stomach. After slashing at him, she jumped back a few feet, putting some distace between her and her opponent.

IC: Luna's stomach blows did (20+2(roll+agi) vs. 9(agi+def) 9 dmg. Wow, a perfect stomach hit. The crowd started going crazy. "The tides might change," Rapheal said in awe. The dagger hit Kasei's stomach cutting him open and making him bleed everywhere.

OOC:
Kasei: 31 hp
Luna: 10 hp

Kasei smiles grimly as the dagger bites it's way into his gut. The Man, however, is now in a far better position to finish off his opponent. "Luna, you had a good try." He said. "However, I believe it is time to finish this." He continues, and rips his sword out and towards Luna's back.

OOC: Short post due to NO COMPUTER. At a freinds. No more time. BYE

Kasei's blade went straight into Luna's back. The sword hit here spine ending this battle. (2+19 (agi+roll) vs. 20 (def+agi) The attack did 13 dmg. The crowd went wild for Kasei and then rapheal flew down. "Kasei is the winner of this round." Medics ran in and put Luna on a strecher and ran of.
