A small, crumpled peice of paper flaps in my gloved hand as I walk aimlessly in the market square. My eyes are fixed on the signs up on the roofs of the shop.
"Find the master who will continue your Grunt training..." I mutter to myself. I groan irritably and bring a hand to my head. "WHO! WHAT WAS HIS NAME?!" I cursed loudly, making the people within ear-shot look at me in horror.

I slump down onto an old, rotten box and furiously rub my temple. My poor memory was failing me. I could not remember the name of the man who would help me with my training.
My memory was poor for as long as I could remember. For some reason, the earliest memory I had was of the Hylian couple who had brought me in, and that was ten years ago.
"I was ten when they found me...." I muttered to myself. "I was lying on some road...Gods, how did I get there?"

I couldn't remember. For some reason, it was like the first nine years of my life hadn't happened. I studied the slip in my hand in desperation. If the old man, who was a Grunt, had told me the name...I had already forgotten it.

"Forget this." I sighed in disgust and shoved the paper down into my tunic. "I'm going to a tavern. At least they have a bed there."

Kamiko was randomely walking through the streets when she heard what she thought was a Zora shouting in anger. It sonded as if it came behind her she turned around to see a zora get up and head for the tavern and followed him.

OoC - this is a buddy of mine from school.

I entered the old tavern and I saw people drunkingly singing, dancing, or betting rupees in gambling. I sit down at the bar and a fat man with burnsides approached me. He leaned over, his hands pressing against the table.
"What's wrong with you, Zora?" the man said with a slight tone of distain.
"One pint of whatever you got." I said, gesturing to the rows of glasses.
The man sniffed and proceeded to fix the drink. I just sit there feeling irritated at myself.

Kamiko slowly walked in to the tavern and looked around when she saw the zora at the bar amongst the other patroons and walked on over to him and sat down. when she did the bartender came over with something that the zora had appeared to order and asked her when gave the zora his drink if she wanted anything. She thought for a moment and said; 'I'll have some Lon lon milk.' as soon as he walked away she asked the zora; 'whats wronge?'

I turned to see a tall girl with feirce, red eyes and long black hair tied into a ponytail.
"My memory's just failing me. I was supposed to go to this guy who would teach me how to be...a Grunt, I guess." I sighed. I turned around to face the girl. "My name's Gaeil by the way." I extended my hand out.

Kamiko Shook the zoras hand and said; 'Aah you mean Quartermaster Hithos.'

I look at her in surprise. Quartermaster Hithos! Of COURSE!
"I...I think that's exactly who I'm looking for!" I stammer. I suddenly feel a slam as my drink lands on the table.
I look at the man who shoots a mean glare to me.
He must not like Zoras... I thought to myself as I sipped the drink.

IC - Kamiko Puts the correct amount of rupees on the bar as the bar tender placed her order on the bar and walked away abit agitated. Kamiko just let out a small laugh as she poured her milk in hir canteen. As she did a hylian, a zora and with a little green fairy walked into the bar. They where apparently looking for Kamiko because they started walking towards her.

"Well there you are Kamiko and it appears as if you have a new buddy." said Jeromy.

"We just met jeromy. He seems to need some help." Kamiko replied towards the hylian.

"What's his name?" asked the fairy.

"His name's," She paused for a moment and looked at the zora and continued, "Gaeil, James" Replied Kamiko

OoC - This is a good buddy of mine from school by the way. I'm still helping him through the rules set

I look at the Hylian, Jeromy, the Zora, the fairy and the girl, Kamiko.
"I guess I can explain." I put the slip back in my tunic. I told them about how I was found by a Hylian couple at the age of ten and that my foster-father was a Grunt and how, before the man died, he told me to seek instructions from a master.
"My memory's been getting worst and worst as I get older. I don't think what happened to me was a simple" I raised my fingers and quoted "fall from a horse".
I took another sip.
"I think what I need to do is find out if I'm really cursed, and if so...how to remove it."

Kamiko looked at Jeromy then Josh and finally James(whome was on Kamikos sholder) and didn't even have to ask if they should helpbecause they all nodded.

'We'll help you out." Kamiko then said turning back to Gaeiland then added, "Also, if you need a place to stay, you're always welcome to stay at mine and my friends cabin." she then Drew a quick sketch of how to get there

I pocket the sketch.
"Thanks," I replied. "Say, do you know where to go if you feel you've been afflicted with a curse, by any chance?"

"Not that I know of." Kamiko said as she thought for a moment and quickly added; Buuut, I have heard that It one should atleast try out the area where they first incounteres this foul feeling."

I considered Kamiko's words.
"So you're saying that I need to go to the place where I last remember?" I produced a map out of my pocket and roll it flat on the table. "So I guess we need to head to the Great Crossroads? That was where I was found by my...ah...Hylian family. "

"Thats just something I think I heard someone saying, But it is worth a try." Kamiko said as she called the bartender over.

when he approached she handed him her canteen and said; " I'd like this to be filled up with some water please."

"Yes ma'am it will be twenty rupees." He replied as he took her container.

"The Great crossroads is the last place you say you remember?" Asked the shiekan as she fished out a red rupee as well as a blue and green one and placed them on the bar.

when the bartender cameback and took the change he said; " I said a red one."

"I know but it's for all of the times I like to not pay properly" replied Kamiko

I toss in my change to the disgruntled bar attendant.

"Okay, let's head out to the Great Crossroads and see what's there." I adjust the sword on my back.
