Aqua walked briskly. Her hair looked recently washed, her clothes looked brand new. The boots that she wore on her feet were no longer two sizes too big for her, but rather the right size. The only thing that she carried was a small bag in one hand and a sword on her back. It gave her a slouched look, but she didn't look any shorter. Maybe that's why people were staring at her. Like they have never seen a girl so tall before in their life. It was hereditary. Her father was tall, her mother was tall, her older brother was tall, and she ended up tall. No short genes in her family.

Well, if they weren't staring at her because she was tall, it had to be the star on her forehead. The one that had been given to her when she was attacked by magic when she was young. Only at seven years of age. She didn't really remember how she got it. Maybe it had to do something with a lightning bolt. Either way, she ended up with a scar in the same of a star that glowed with the presence of magic.

It was currently a bright orange.

She rubbed her forehead and growled. A little kid that had stopped and stared at her soon ran away. Aqua paid no mind to that. After being in Rauru Town so long, she had forgotten about her friend, the person that she had decided to leave the stupid village to find. She couldn't forgive herself for that. Even though people started to treat her better after Keychain had disappeared-not to mention her whole family. Even Kristen started to talk to her again.

Being treated differently didn't change things. She still hated Kristen even though Kristen didn't mind it so much. That is, until she yelled, screamed, and did anything else at Kristen. Then she started to become hated again.

Aqua thought that she had even punched her. Kristen did have a broken nose the last time she had seen her before she left.

The girl sighed. She rested the bag on some random steps and sat down on them. She ran her long fingers through her deep brown hair. Her amber eyes stared down at the ground.

Anger welled inside of her. Anger at herself and the pure frustration at how she couldn't find the single red head in the place. Sure, there were a few red heads here that she had seen, but none that were as short as Keychain or any that had such a deep red color.

Red. Every time Aqua thought of Keychain's hair color, she thought of blood, but not the fresh blood. More like the blood that had dried, but had fresh mixed in it. She always thought of death, death and morbid. Maybe it was just her style. Before she had met Keychain, she was like that.

"This is maddening!" she shouted loud. Her anger rang through her voice fierce and strong. "Where the hell did you disappear off to, Keychain?"

"Aqua?"

"Holy salmon!" Aqua fell off the steps as she whipped around in surprise to see who had appeared behind her. In all her glory was her friend, Keychain. She blinked her amber eyes as Keychain blinked her blue eyes.

"Aqua?" Keychain questioned again. "Is that...really you?"

"Nooo, it's Hero of Time," Aqua said with sarcasm dripping from her voice like venom. She got to her feet and dusted off her leggings and skirt. "Wow, I never knew that dirt could be so accumulated in one place."

"Who's the Hero of Time?" Keychain questioned.

Aqua opened her mouth, closed it. She pointed a finger at Keychain, opened her mouth again, and then closed it. A sigh rattled her body. Instead of continuing to point at her friend, she rested the hand on her forehead. "I've been here shorter than you and yet you don't know anything about this place, I bet."

Keychain continued to blink her eyes at her friend. Like any moment she would suddenly disappear. "What are you doing here?" she finally questioned after a few dreadfully quiet moments.

"I'm here because you need my protection. And people like to be snobs to me," Aqua replied. She slung an arm around Keychain. She actually had to lean downward to reach her friend's short height. Her gaze flickered around the area. "Say, have you noticed how people are staring at us? Me more than you."

"It might be that glowing star on your forehead," commented Keychain. Aqua rubbed her forehead and scowled.

"God dammit, I wish I could see it." Keychain was scowling at her. "What did I do? I didn't--oh! Sorry, I did promise you that I would stop cussing, didn't I?" Aqua grinned a toothy grin that looked positively evil. "It's just how I'm like, Key-Key."

OOC: Keychain! It's been a while since i've seen a post of yours! :D

IC: A small crowd had gathered in north castle. People had gathered to take a look at a girl with an interesting mark on her forehead. It did not take long for rumor to spread around the city. And rumors themselves do not take long to change.

It had started out simple; the girl in question had either a scar or birthmark on her forhead in the shape of a star. However, the more it was retold, the more it changed and, by the time it reached the ears of those in the pubs, it had changed entirely. "Did you hear? Someone with the mark of the gods has appeared in town!"

The pub was instantly full of noise. Some knights cheered, ruffians frowned and one man in particular stood up and began to walk out the door. This man had dark blue hair with a light ponytail at the back, a regal looking vest and matching pants. White sandals were on his feet. At his side was a glistening scimitar and other bags, a wallet and some small trinkets. Kasei Dornmos Gobi stepped out of the pub and into the bright of day. Let us see what is going on.

The Fourth Star highly doubted it, but if someone had appeared with the sacred mark, it meant several things. One; it was time for him and the rest of the Seven Stars to leave Hyrule. Two: Someone has found the Triforce of power, or, even more disturbing, Link has died, and the Triforce of Courage has found a new host. It was also possible that this was a rumor and only that. Kasei sure hoped so.

As he rounded, the corner at a swift pace, he saw the crowd ahead. He moved into it, and people moved aside as he neared the girl in question. Next to her was someone Kasei recognized as Keychain.

The Shiekah glanced at the girls forehead, and then smiled. So it was a rumor, after all . . . "Greetings, little one. You have attracted much attention."

OoC: I know! Isn't it surprising?

IC: The two girls had been chatting lightly, ignoring everyone who decided to stop and stare. They caught up on what each had missed. Aqua had been reaching into her bag to grab something for her friend when Kasei had appeared.

"LITTLE?" Aqua shouted. She jumped to her feet. Even if she hadn't of been standing on the stairs, she still was towering over Kasei. "Do I look little to you?" She was seething anger when Keychain pulled on her sleeve.

"Aqua, sit down. I don't even think he was referring us as short or small. Now calm down for once, will you?" Keychain scowled darkly at her friend. Instead of arguing, Aqua sat down like an obedient dog. The red head sighed and looked at Kasei. "Hey, Kasei, this is my greatest friend, Aqua. Aqua, this is one Kasei. I befriended him and Aria when I came here." Quickly, she added, "And a few other people."

"A few other people?" Aqua questioned with astonishment. Her amber eyes became wide. Her hands soon covered her face. "They haven't been....nasty, have they?"

"No, of course not."

Aqua relaxed. Her body slumped on the steps. The sword on her back lifted as her back went farther down than what the sword could. "Thank the heavens." She looked at Kasei and grinned a smile that looked purely evil. "It's nice to see someone who isn't scared off by Keychain's twin."

Realizing that Luis wasn't there, Aqua suddenly bolted up. "Say, I haven't seen him since I arrived. That boy is usually almost another part of you." She looked at the Inn's windows. "Is Luis inside? He wouldn't be far away."

Keychain frowned. "I'll. . . need to explain that to you later." Before Aqua could even protest, Key said to Kasei, "What brings you here all of a sudden? Have we caught attention that we didn't mean to get?"

Kasei smiled. "Actually, that's exactly the problem. Keychain, rumors travel fast in this town, you should know that. It's best not to attract any attention." He said, then turned to the crowd an waved his hand in dismissal. "Begone, all of you! Back to what you were doing, or the dungeons will be full tonight!" He threatened, and the citizens, gruntingly, dispersed. As a general, after all, Kasei did indeed have to power to lock them all away. He turned again to Keychain.

"Just watch your back, understood?" He said, as he began to walk away. "Not everyone is an ally in this town. . ."

Aqua stared at Kasei as he started to walk away. She looked at Keychain with slight confusion. "Does he always do that? Walk away when I suddenly want to speak with his friendship with you?"

"Aqua, you don't need to do anything like that, people treat me nicely here," groaned Keychain. "And yes, he does that most of the time. I'm still not use to it, but when someone doesn't need to talk anymore, they don't need to talk anymore."

Her friend pressed her lips together. "Mm hm. . . Odd, but okay." She laid out on her back. The sword pressed into her back. "I want to meet some more of these so called 'friends'. To see, well, you know, if they live up to my standards."

"Where's Kasei at in your 'standards'?"

"I would be able to know better if he actually stayed and chatted like a normal human being," commented Aqua. Keychain rolled her eyes and laughed. Aqua joined in quickly. "Just like the good times, isn't it?"

"Guess so."

Tatsu had been walking around the square all day looking for interesting confersations. As he walked he saw a group of people he didnt know and walked over to them. The one male that was walking away looked relativly close to his rival, but he wasn't going to charge until he had proof. "Hello there." Tatsu said as he walked over to the group not paying attention to the male that was walking away. He was more interested in the two people he never met in his time in these lands. "I'm Tatsu Hitsugi, and you are?" he said with a formal grin on his face. He rarely ever left the desert to meet new people.

"Oh, Keychain, I have something that belongs to you." Aqua was reaching into her bag again when Tatsu appeared. Keychain instantly looked at the boy instead of her friend. "What--?! Again!?" She began grumbling to herself as Keychain elbowed her in the ribs.

"Shush, Aqua," Keychain hissed. She grinned at Tatsu. "Hi, I'm Keychain and this is my friend, Aqua. I've been here for almost six months, and Aqua just got here. We're really pleased to meet you."

Aqua laughed to herself. "Yeah, very pleased," she grumbled. Key scowled at her and elbowed her again, digging more deeply this time. She yelped. "Ow, ow, ow! What was that for?"

"Don't be so rude," she hissed. Keychain pushed some of her ashy red hair aside from her face and gazed at Tatsu. "Well, I'm not sure about her, but I'm pleased to meet you."

OoC: Long time no see, Tatsu. Remember me from my old account? *hint, my character was Cathy and my NPC was Kayla*

OOC:Hey long time no see. I thought you left.

IC: Tatsu looked questionably at Aqua, but then turned and looked at Key. "So how do you like hyrule? It's ok at times for me." He said as he stepped away from the shadow of a building lingering closer to him. Tatsu then looked back at Key as if he was in a hurry. "Any clue when night falls now a days?" He said as he looked up at the sun. "I need to get back to the dessert before night fall." He looked alittle worried as the shadow crept closer.

"It's. . .going alright for me so far," Keychain said. Aqua let out a small snort that made it seem like as if what she spoke wasn't the truth, and she only knew that. Keychain sighed and continued to the next spoken words. "Night fall? It should be in about three to four hours. Would you have time to return to the desert by then?"

"Yeah, like that will even be possible," snorted Aqua. Key looked at her shortly. She dug her bony elbow in Aqua's ribs once again. "Will you stop that? It's getting very annoying, you mage."

"I'm not a mage yet," Keychain hissed.

"Yes thats enough time." Tatsu said as yet again he moved away from the shadow. Tatsu smiled abit trying to hide his worry. He then looked at Aqua with a small grimace. Tatsu turned and looked at the people walking around wondering how they could live in happiness, not knowing the dangers in the night. He then looked back at Key and Aqua. Key seemed alot more nice than Aqua, but then again in every teams of two girls, there was always the rude one. "Well i will leave now. It is a long walk from here to the desert so by." He said with a small smile on his face. He turned and started to walk away.

Shadows licked at the streets. In the ally not far from the small group, Kasei vanished into the darkness. He would travel through the rift, until he appeared far away, too far to track through sight or scent. He was in a hollow house, with no decorations, quite unlike his personal home.

He looked around, then smiled when he saw noone had followed him through the darkness. He rubbed his chin, and sighed. "A Hitsugi, eh . . ."
