((OOC: So sorry for being such an off-and-on poster during the school year. This summer I'll try to be on more, though vacations and things may hinder me. As for my character, let's just say she was on a trip in the desert.))

"Ahhh, Hyrule," Luna spoke as she streatched her arms over her head, taking a deep breath to savor the rich smells floating over the castle walls from the many resturants and street vendors. She let down the indigo colored scarf that was wrapped around her head, covering most of her face, and let it hang loosely around her neck. "We're finally home Kumi, no more sand and desert heat."

"Don't call me Kumi," Kumori, her fairy companion relpied, obviously annoyed at the cutesy nickname. Despite his annoyance at his partner he was glad to finally be home too, over the years he had grown a soft spot for Hyrule, it was the only place he seemed to feel welcome.

The pair stood outside the castle walls thinking sentimental thoughts, before Kumori finally took the initiative to lead Luna inside and into the courtyard. "Think we'll see Kasei? Or any of our old aquaintences?" Luna asked.

"Probably," the fairy muttered. He was never one for socializing. "They're bound to be hanging around somewhere."

OOC: I was specified. I need to make an appearance.

IC: The day was like any other in North Castle. Kasei, of course, was sitting on a bench busy reading through some documents containing information about the battle front that he needed to know before heading out again.

As he sat, though, he chanced a glance up to see a face in the crowd he had not seen in a long time: Luna, an old companion. "Well, look who it is!" He called out. "Where have you been?"

Well speak of the devil, Kumori thought to himself as he followed Luna through the crowd and over to Kasei.

"Nothing much, just hunting for treasure in the desert," she replied, taking a seat next to him on the bench. Actually it was more like raiding toumbs, but knowing Kasei's strict tendency towards serving the greater good it was best that he didn't know the details. "For all the time I put in you would expect quite a haul, but it was more work than it was worth, so I guess I'm back for a while. So anyway, what's been going on? It doesn't seem that Hyrule has changed a bit, though that's to be expected."

"The desert, eh?" Kasei said. "Not much luck, though. That's too bad." He finished, then listened to the rest of Luna's words.

"Yeah, sad to say, but Hyrule has indeed changed. There's a war going on, and it's not good." He explained. "We're caught up right now with battles and dealing with the enemy. It's not so good." He said, showing her the documents. Still, if Luna looked closely, she could see a feint smile on the Rebel Flame's lips.

OoC: *grins* Must join!

IC: Keychain stretched her arms. She still felt stiff from the beating she got yesterday with Aqua. The girl was rough during practice. Every time Keychain moved, she felt something pop or stretch.

"I shouldn't complain," she muttered to herself. "Though I wouldn't mind a day off once and a while." Keychain sighed lightly.

In fact, Keychain was trying to avoid Aqua at the moment. The girl was fighting with her brother, so the red head was able to get away. She dressed nicely that day. In a color that most wouldn't see on her, or other people. The red had drained out of her dress, and left her wearing the pink that was left.

In her sights, she saw Kasei. And someone else. Being curious, she strolled over. Her feet padded on the ground, signaling her approach before herself being present.

"Hello," she said politely. She glanced between the two. "Did I pick a bad time to appear?"

"I'm guessing things aren't going very well then," Luna replied, her eyes scanning the documents. "I would have thought that you would enjoy a good fight though." Kumori, the "intellegence" of the pair, as he so often liked to point out, hovered over Kasei's shoulder and quickly took interest in the page.

Luna quickly lost her interest in the documents and turned her attention to the approaching girl. "No, we're just catching up on a few things," she replied to the timid question. "I don't believe I know your name, so I doubt you know mine," she added with a grin. "I'm Luna, the dark fairy is Kumori, and it's our first day back in Hyrule," she explained in an attempt to be befriend the shy girl.

Kasei nodded politely at Keychain as she arrived before returning his attention to Luna. "Enjoy battle? I don't usually associate ruthless suicidal tendencies with fun, thank you very much." He replied to her statement. As Kumori read the page, he'd find it full of nothing but battle strategies as well as a list of races employed by the enemy.

"And no, Key, this is an ok time as ever. You look beat-up as usual, who were you training with?" The Rebel Flame asked his latest acquaintance.

"My name is Keychain, it's good to meet you, Luna," said the red headed girl. She placed her hands behind her back and pressed her lips together. "Er, nice day we are having, aren't we?"

She twisted her head to Kasei. "Beat up!? I don't think I look . . ." She paused to look at herself. "Aqua likes to bang me with her sword a bit too much. I should be lucky that I haven't been scratched by her weapon yet."

Hearing the fuss, Kumori turned his attention to the girl as well. "You do look beat up," he pointed out, flying away from Kasei and around the Keychain to geet a good look at her. The fairy then hovered in front of her face for a moment before returning to float over Luna's shoulder. "It looks like you almost need a healing spell to get rid of those bruises."

This is where the hint became a true smile, and Kasei looked at Keychain. "You really don't seem to be getting much better at fighting." He said rather bluntly. And he believed it. She hasn't shown much improvement in the time he's known her. To make matters worse, there was a war, and she probably wouldn't be of much use.

And he knew no healing spells.

Keychain scowled. "I have too gotten better!" She pointed at her legs. "No scratches or bruises there! I've got mostly dirt on my face. Aqua just whacked me with her sword on my arms." She glared lightly at Kasei. "And you know me! I work mostly with magic. I can heal just fine without healing spells, thank you very much."

She blinked her eyes at Luna and Kumori. "Er, nothing against you two, though." She scratched at spot on her face where dirt was starting to irritate her face. A frown appeared on her face. "Oh, dear, I think I just pretty much exploded."

"I think Kasei kind of brought that outburst upon himself with his rude comment," Luna pointed out. She was a bit suprised as how suddenly the seemingly timid Keychain had blown a fuse. "And Kumori wasn't really minding his manners, as usual."

"Hey! I was just stating the obvious!" The fairy burst out, obviously irritated at the shiekah girl's comment. "Kasei's the one that set her off, she even said she had nothing against me!"

"Calm down, I was just giving you trouble," Luna replied, a bit embarassed at her partner's outburst.

Kasei chuckled a tad bit. It his role was reversed with Keychain's, no outburst would have probably happened. Instead, he probably would have pulled an Alpha, incinerating the one insulting him to get his point across. However, Keychain might not be there yet, so for now he enjoyed this.

"No bruises there because Aqua wanted you to walk home on your own instead of carrying you." The Shiekah joked. "And i've seen your 'magic' at work, do a show." He chuckled a bit more jokingly.

"Oh come on, she can't be that bad," Luna pointed out. "Maybe she just needs a little more training. Casting and doging at the same time might be tougher than it appears."

"It's not that easy to keep up with physical attacks while casting spells," Kumori mumbled.

"Well we could have a little fight to test her. Kasei would make a good judge, and I could use a warm up." Luna looked over Keychain once again, then decided a fight may be to much. "Err... If you feel up to it, that is."

Keychain stomped her foot childishly, and scowled. Before she could speak, though, dark arms rested on her head. She didn't need to look up at the person to know who it was.

"Are my ears deceiving me, or are you talking about me?" Aqua questioned, her eyes searching the two people and the fairy. She leaned on her friend to use her as an arm rest. The sword she wore on her back that gave her a bent down look was no longer there. Her strange star shaped scar glowed lightly. She gazed at Keychain. "Were they talking about me?"

"Just Kasei and saying how you whack me around a bit," muttered Keychain.

"I don't do that!" gasped the girl.

"Thank you."

"Only when I feel like it."

"Aqua!"
