Hyrule Castle had always been a remarkable sight ever since Kuro first saw it from a distance long ago, and it still was. But it seemed even better when glancing over the cityscape from a high rooftop at night. There were less people to get in the way of it's majesty with their petty bickering over who saw that last apple first. Although, it was slightly amusing when Kon slipped by unnoticed and grabbed it without the people noticing, and then they get even angrier when they realize that it had disappeared.

Without the people, though, it was easier to notice the intricate carvings in the walls of buildings, some of which actually hadn't been placed there by vandals, and depicted a wide range of things, from battles, to carvings of old heroes casting evil out of the land. It was easy to get distracted looking at these minor details, and easily miss someone sneaking up behind them.

On this particular occasion, Kuro kept his guard up slightly, but not so high that he would seem paranoid. He looked around him, then leaped from the rooftop he was on to a lower one, then jumped to the ground. He adjusted his swords at his sides, and the two-handed blade on his back, finishing by brushing off his black pants that he wore under his blue tunic.

"A little too concerned with our looks are we?" a voice came from behind Kuro. His eyes widened slightly, and he stifled a gasp. He turned around and immediately unsheathed one of his swords and got into a battle stance. The stranger was wearing shiny crimson armor, and armed with a sword. Kuro was slightly relieved to see that the weapon was sheathed, but he got a cold shiver through his body when he saw the man's pale, scarred face, and red hair; the look scared him.

"Who are you?" Kuro asked, beginning to reach for his other weapon.

The strange man gave Kuro a strange look before speaking. "Only one sword? You don't think I'm good enough for all you've got?"

Kuro ignored his remark. "Who are you?" he asked again in a more angered tone.

The stranger looked to the sky. Dawn was breaking. "You don't need to know that now, but when we meet again, you may find out," he said as he took two steps back and vanished.

Kuro stood there a whole minute, and some of the early risers watched him stand there and were likely thoroughly confused, as they hadn't seen the strange man who just disappeared. Kuro finally sheathed his sword and hoped someone would come and get his mind off that weirdo.

((OOC: I stole the first post 8) ))

Luna slipped quietly out of the shadow of the building and snuck up behind Kuro while he still seemed almost dazed from the encounter. She gave him a gentle poke in the middle of his back with her dagger, and exclaimed "Gotcha!" It had been quite a while since she had seen him, and was curious about his return. "What brings you here?"

Luna had been out all night wandering about, unable to sleep. She found it amusing how easily she could hide from the guards, and played a sort of game where she got as close as she could without being detected. A couple of hours previous as she was heading home she had spotted a figure on a rooftop, not something one usually came across, and decided to investigate. To her suprise, it was Kuro, an old aquaintance, and just for fun she had stalked him for a little while to keep herself entertained.

Before Kuro had a chance to begin walking after sheathing his blade, he felt his back being pricked as a joke, but even so, Kuro was still startled from the encounter with the creep, and he quickly turned around, drawing his sword again, then sighing after seeing that it was only Luna, he sheathed it again. "Don't do stuff like that. You'll turn into Kon, and that's not a good thing either," Kuro said half jokingly.

Kuro yawned from being awake so early; normally he was asleep, but this morning he decided to come early to the castle since he hadn't been there long. "I decided to come here to get a few things to eat and see if I run into anybody I know," he said, then paused for a minute to look behind him. As far as he could tell, that guy was gone.

"So," Kuro said finally, deciding it was his turn to ask a question, "how long have you been following me?"

Luna had jumped back as Kuro drew his sword just to be catious, and felt slightly relieved that her little joke was taken good-humoredly. She laughed at his bit about turning into Kon. "What has he been up to anyway? I haven't heard from both of you in quite a while. Oh, and I had been following you for quite a while before that odd man popped up out of nowhere," She replied. Luna understood that what she said sounded kind of creepy, and quickly added, "I was just curious about what you were doing back, that's all."
