Hyrule Adventures 2

Dusk was approaching, and, to Kasei, the gates of North Castle were too distant to approach at such a late hour and, by the time he crossed the field to his house, the sun will have traversed the night and brought daylight over Hyrule again.

"So, I guess that means i'm stranded out here till dawn then." He said to himself, or rather, to the person following him. The Rebel Flame went over to a large boulder and sat upon it. As he did so, his scythe appeared in his hand. "Tell me, why have you tracked me so far?"

Sovelis jumped out of the tree that stood near the water's edge, almost falling over on his face. "I concealed myself, and you still knew I was there... Scary... Guess I should have expected that from you, old friend." He leaned on his staff, looking at the ground infront of him instead of the thief and the Rebel Flame.

"As for a reason... I have none. I just wanted to test a new cloaking spell."

OOC: Does this answer your question, Kasei, because I took your question to be an invitation? Also, when in the timeline does this take place.

IC: "Ah, it appears I hear coincidence knocking," said a voice. The voice was coming from the tree line. As one heard the voice, he or she would probably turn to the direction of the voice. And, as it was being said, a figure walked out of that part of the woods. The figure was wearing a trademark cloak. "Just kidding," continued the familiar voice, "I wasn't following you at all. Just fetching water from the well," he said. The voice could probably be recognized as Orpheous'. A pale was in one of his hands, it was probably filled with water. He pulled the hood down that shaded his face, revealing Orpheous, or, if it wasn't, someone who looked just like him.

And this is during the war, Orph, but before Sovelis officially changes sides, k?

IC: "I can feel you for miles, Tempest, concealing yourself does nothing to stop that." Kasei claimed with a cool air. "So no reason at all? That's rather odd." He finished, just as Orpheous reveals himself. "Ah, hello, mr coincidence."

"Well, while we're all here, I suppose we could set up a small camp for the night, eh?" The Rebel Flame offered to his two companions. "Perhaps we could talk of recent issues..."

OOC: Let the conflict begin~!

"Indeed. There is much that we could all discuss. A couple of old farts like us gotta have a few stories under our belts, right?" Sovelis sat on a log near the rock, wrapping his cloak tighter. He had set his weapons next to him, feeling no need to have a hand on sword or staff tonight. "And why are you here, Kasei? Restless? Looking for Monsters?"

Ooc: Excuse the poor post guys...

Orpheous simply nodded at Kasei's suggestion. He took a seat on a log of his own, and pulled his cloak tightly around himself to keep the cold air out. He continued to sit there, quietly, listening to Sovelis' question, and curious to hear the answer himself. As far as speaking goes though, the scribe would keep his mouth shut unless spoken to.

Kasei smiled. Out of nothing, a small fire set itself between the trio, illuminating the coming night. "Well, Sovelis, it's a bit of both. As you know, adventurers and monsters alike are getting anxious about the upcoming war. Several monsters are trying to stop hylian troops before any battles even begin, so people like myself are patrolling around, dealing with as many of them as possible." He explained.

"What about you two? Why have you ventured out tonight?"
