Onogoron was happy.

He clanked along the tunnel towards the Knight Outpost, at ease behind the reins of his brand new wagon, pulled by his brand new horse. Just a few days ago, the genial creature was considered dead to the world. Heck, he was dead to the world. But he had been saved by the adventurers, and he knew he had to pay them back. So here he was, bringing a special shipment after recieving permission from the Goro-Goro Cartel. After all, they had been doing what they could to aid in the war, and the Goron that a certain Bard had saved WAS their best driver. Why would they refuse this repayment? Feeling like dancing yet again, Onogoron used his years of discipline to stay seated in the wagon, enjoying the noise of the wheels on the rocky ground.

Kreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-THUNK. Kreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-THUNK. Kreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-SNAP!

The front right end of the wagon dipped to the ground. "Must have brrrrrrroke an axel..." The Goron rumbled in a sad voice. Luckily, he remembered, there was a spare in the back. Yes, he had planned ahead for such a lucky journey as this. His Goronic hulk climbed slowly out of his seat. Lumbering around peacefully to the back while mumbling a tune, the Goron felt around under the covering. Pricking his rough hands on the swords and arrows in the back, he finally felt a bit of wood. As he started to withdraw the spare part, he thought he heard a footstep.

"Hello? Is anyone therrrre?"

Silence. Shrugging, and chalking the occurence up to the myriad of weapons shifting in the back of the wagon, he finished removing the axle from the rest of the junk. "Surrrre wish I could see. It's so darrrrk in--" Just then, the Goron sneezed. "--herrrrrre." Taking the azle to the front of the wagon and replacing it, he climbed back into the seat of the wagon, driving the rest of the way without further advent.

When he reached the outpost, he released his horse to walk around in the dismal pen with the Knight's horses, and opened the back of his wagon, revealing his payload of weapons.

"Come, everrrrrryone!" His mouth slowly curved into a large, full-toothed grin. "I have brrrrrought something forrrr you all!"

He was hoping to see some familiar faces, but so far all he saw was Knights...oh well. They'd show up eventually.

Victor was on his way North from avoiding the baddies of the swamp when he saw the cart.

It is not uncommon for an adventurer, in the course of his adventuring, to save countless lives - indirectly, of course. But it should be known that a special bond forms when a person saves the life of another literally. At least, the Bard liked to believe this; so it should come as no surprise that he recognized the cart's driver immediately. For an adventurer who saves a life directly is a true rarity. So... of course, he said hello.

"Hello, Onogoron!"

Victor waved at the Goron as he approached the cart, pleasantries loaded and ready to fire away.

"It's nice to see you, friend, what brings you to the caves to... to... to..."

He'd spotted the cargo. The precious bounty of slender metal. The never-before-seen, hand-held power sitting in the cart's hold. The Bard gawked at the cargo with eager eyes.

"Is that... what have you got there, Ono?"

Victor peered even closer at the weapons, inspecting them with careful excitement, wishing and almost daring to touch one, but holding back. He had to have one. There was no doubt about it, it was his destiny, and that was that. Nothing would stop him.

He nearly fainted upon seeing the pricetag.

"Three... three... three..."

He flashed back to a scene in the past, suddenly remembering a certain strange celery-headed Deku. Of course, he had enough this time, more than enough... but it was so much still. So he settled for shooting a highly depressing and exasperated expression at Onogoron, mouth agape and filled with sadness, as if to say, "Why? Why so expensive, friend Goron? Why get a poor Bard's hopes up?"

OOC: Can we dual wield a sword and a rapier?! It makes sense! I mean, haven't you seen the three musketeers!

Rosen was just moseying about the area, not yet ready to move into another battle after spraining his knee and almost dying at the hand of that iron knuckle who had conveniently knocked him out for the remainder of that dreaded battle.

His leg hopped a few inches above the other as he hobbled to the other goron, revived with a smile plastered on his face and the gilded reflection shining off his, no doubt, yellow teeth.

"Him rapiers..." He muttered as he eyed the weapons that clanked together loosely in their caskets, their banter whispering into the caverns.

"Oh...hey there onogoron." Rosen offered, the apathy cascading off his open maw, more preoccupied with leaving off the scent of his meals as well as wonderment of the new toys that caught his eye.

"Wonder if it's worth it."

With a "Ooooowroooar!" of joy, Onogoron leapt into the air at the sight of the Bard, the ground shaking upon his landing.

"I have rrrapierrrs!" The ecstatic Goron rumbled, shuffling back and forth on his feet with his hands held high in some parody of dance. Not even seeing the sad look on Victor's face, he grabbed him roughly by the shoulders, lifting him above his head and dancing about in a happy spin. Pulling the Bard into a Goron vice-grip hug, he spoke again. "You arrre the one who rrrevived me! Herrre, take one!" Dropping Victor, Onogoron reached into the cargo hold and withdrew one of his finest rapiers, handing it to the Bard. Once taken, he saw another Goron fumbling about near the back.

"Brrrotherrr!" Came the pleasant, drawn out cry. "Have you everrr had sweet brrread?" Rosen's lack of hospitality had no effect on the large smile bestowed upon him. "Those rrrapierrrs arrre verrry helpful forrr prrrotecting yourrrself!"

OOC: Yes, you can. We just didn't want to have two dual-wielded rapiers so that we wouldn't have to put up with people whining "Well I should have DOUBLE parry checks!"

Besides, the rapiers will be weaker than the swords and daggers when the next ones come out, and from then on they will be one of the weakest weapons, so it'd make more sense to dual wield it with something more powerful anyways.

Eberron was overjoyed to see a goron merchant travelling through the cave systems once again. It gave him a sense of pride and satisfaction to know that he had helped in ensuring the safety of... Wait... Was that... Eberron cried out happily, rushing forwards to the goron he had just recognised.

"Hi! Good to see you are well and travelling again."

Eberron grinned broadly, the image of this seemingly dead goron's resurrection had been one that he doubted he would ever forget. To think that music could have such powers, truly the bard that had... Wait... No... no surely...

"Mr Bard!"

Completely forgetting his name, Eberron had no other alternative but to cry out the first thing that came to mind. Moving as if to draw the man into a large goron hug, Eberron noticed the tell-tale signs of a previous such encounter and decided to hold back so he could recover... Non-gorons could be so fragile.

"You were amazing, you played music and... wow! Just wow!"

Grinning even wider (An achievement in of itself considering the extensive grin that had already been stretched across his face) Eberron reached into his bag instinctively and brought out the finest rocks he could quickly lay his hands on.

"Here, I've got some rocks for... oh... You don't eat them do you? Sorry I forget... Oh! But you can enjoy some, if you like."

His mad grin subsiding slightly to a more relaxed, friendly smile, Eberron passed over a rock or two to Onogoron. Suddenly noticing that another was amongst them, he also turned to see the Goron elder that had fallen during their last crusade. Remembering the fearsome ability and surprising strength that had been wielded by one who seemed at first glance to be so restricted by age and weariness, Eberron respectfully reached back and drew out some of the finer rocks he still had from his old home... But he had to concentrate on the people here, not the past.

"If you would like some to eat perhaps? I hope they're good enough for you... I only keep the finest rocks I find in my travels! And I only offer them to people I consider friends."

Eberron smiled kindly and looked at the previous battle ally with genuine admiration in his eyes.

"You were very impressive when we last fought together... I didn't know that Goron's could be so skilled with blades until I started adventuring here!"

Looking down at his fists, Eberron quietly decided that it was very admirable... But he would stick to using only what he already had. Although the strange shiny weapons that had been brought by Onogoron did look tempting... At least until he looked at the price tag. Gulping, Eberron realised that he had never even come close to having that much money. It was down to his wandering, free life style of course. Or so he told himself anyway. Still, he was content with what he had.

"Rrrrrocks? It's been a while since I ate those...I miss the flavorrrrr...Oh!"

Reaching into a small sack at his side, Onogoron removed a small bag filled with...

"Crrranberrries!" He rumbled in a slightly higher pitched tone to show enthusiasm. Though, really, he was so enthusiastic at this point it was hard to tell he was the same Goron who normally spoke in such a low, reverberative growl most of the time. "I will trrrade with you, brrr--oh, but what is yourrr name? I am Onogorrron." His head swivelled slowly atop his shoulders to look at Rosen as well. "And you, brrrotherrr? So many Gorrrons fighting forrr Hyrrrule, and I don't know theirrr names..."
