</center>
<center>Background and Recent History</center>
It is something of a peculiarity to find a fairy without a companion, either amongst the dwellers of the forests and wild places, or others of its kin. Yet Frazl is just that, existing amongst the swampy barrens as opposed to the welcoming forest. What brings this apparently self-imposed exile is unknown; but what is known that when the swamp is at its darkest, one can occasionally catch a flash of light arcing erratically across the vine canopies.
If one is lucky, the light might guide such a traveler to safety - but more often, the dancing blue orb draws them ever deeper until the darkness closes around them and the trees stretch menacingly in all directions. When the swamp plants grow quiet, Frazl searches for anything light enough that a fairy might carry, and when he has amassed enough trinkets takes them into town to sell and barter - the spectacle of a fairy speaking brusquely of strange baubles is draw enough, and few think to ask where they might have come from...
Though he is usually self-interested and demeaning of any courtesy with a practiced callousness, Frazl exhibits occasional - and seemingly contradictory - bursts of kindness. Dekufolk, children, and the child-like seem to have nothing to fear from the fairy and indeed may find trinkets hidden around the swamps by an unknown hand. Those truly lost mentally or spiritually may find Frazl more than willing to help them, or at least listen. And occasionally, Frazl is just helpful in the kind-hearted if not verbose manner of most of the fey... Though such moods leave as quickly as they arrive.
<center>Personality</center>
Frazl doesn't talk much if he doesn't know someone. Usually that's because he is quietly following them, attempting to evaluate if they are a threat to the environment or his nonsentient plant 'friends'... And if so, how best to remove that threat. If he is at the marketplace or amongst those he sees regularly however, he can become a veritable font of information. Snarky, petulent, and self-interested, but informative at least, especially if one is interested in the affairs of the swamplands. And if you want to shut Frazl up? Ask about the rest of the fairy folk, or the halls of Oberon.
Since Fairies are weak by nature, it would seem that someone as power-hungry or survival oriented as Frazl would naturally gravitate towards magic... Yet much to his displeasure, Frazl has shown no such aptitude. Frazl instead relies on his wit, following prospective opponents silently - for days if necessary - to better understand them and their strengths... And weaknesses. Relying on snares of barbed shrapmetal and woven vines, the hope and fear of opponents and finally his own ability to break down the enemy, he prefers to avoid direct combat.
Instead of a crafted metal dagger, Frazl uses a jagged shard of black stone - though weaker and more brittle than a normal dagger, it makes broad, superficial wounds that ache and bleed frequently, making it easier to track opponents.
<center>Appearance</center>
Frazl is larger than a normal fairy, though if that is because of his self-interest or random luck is hard to determine. Hovering at about sixteen inches high, Frazl has a sky-blue complexion that is amplified by the electric-blue light that surrounds him. Like many fairies, Frazl could easily be mistaken for a sphere of bright light at a distance, save for the the two pairs of white butterfly wings jutting from his back - when trying to stay hidden, Frazl often binds them to avoid recognition.
If one looks closely, Frazl has mid-length hair that is coppery and wild, dangling in every direction like vines in a storm and obscuring his constantly darting grey eyes. His feet are bare and constantly tap if he is waiting in one place for too long. Frazl wears a tunic tied over breeches with a bit of found string, and his arms and legs show the signs of toned musculature that someone who lives a very active life-style might have... Well, the toned musculature that one could expect of a very active fairy.
Both in flight and on the ground (or between treebranches, or amongst the mud) Frazl moves erratically, almost drunkenly. It is an attempt to avoid being too predictable, and perhaps also a means of making himself look more imposing then he truly is.

Edit - I realize you all may be gearing up for HA3(?) and/or activity may be low. But, uh, I come to bring the noise?
