Not sure how many still visit this place, but in case anyone's still around...

Anyone interested in doing a Christmas/New Year's party topic? Suddenly wanted to RP here again in that kind of setting... Anyone around and interested?

This is awesome - just a few days ago, I suddenly got super nostalgic about HA2 and was browsing around and reading old topics.

*ahem* Good to see you guys again! Especially you, Sakiko - the idea for a party topic was chosen in no small part due to my fond memories of you and Arrika's party topics (speaking of which...get Arrika for this! 8D) ...And I talk to ZV occasionally on AIM, and see him still make Dogura posts every now and then. So his joining was kinda assumed. XD;

We probably won't start the party for another week or so - I want to give people time to see this, as well as to get those pesky final exams out of the way. In the meantime, does anyone have any ideas for the topic? Location, NPCs, events, etc.?

PS - even though they've not replied here *grumblegrumble*, I've spoken to both Tayro and MagmarFire about this. Tayro wants in after finals finish on the 14th; Mags is on the fence, but definitely interested.

So the band's getting back together? I'm in for a little Christmas party RP. And as per the poll who says a party and killing stuff are mutually exclusive ;p. I am currently locked in my room clocking in 8 hours a day on a VLSI chip layout but in a week I'll be free for anything!

I have faith that with ZV and Alpha brainstorming together we'll get a DAMN good topic out of this. Oh and Alpha, I got rid of my facebook maybe I can message you with my number so you can let me know when this shit goes live?

Bah, PMs are overrated. This is a collaborative effort for everyone involved; post your ideas and suggestions here rather than send them to me.

What I had in mind was a simple party topic, similar to what Arrika and Sakiko had going in that Ruto party topic. It...seems they had something planned, but we never got around to it. Instead, everyone involved just RPed their characters enjoying the party and interacting with one another -- and I don't remember about the rest of the adventurers, but Sakiko, Arrika, and Alpha had quite an adventure, even though it was completely unplanned. [size=0]And we learned that Alpha is completely oblivious to his effect on the ladies. XDDD[/size]

That's all I had in mind for it. Don't know if there would be any NPCs involved, or even where it would take place ( the castle? Another rented building like the Ruto party? A park or garden? The Cit--oh, wait, that's it. It should totally be held in the City in the Sky. There is obviously no alternative. Duh. 8D;;; ). I feel the topic itself should definitely be in or near the castle, for ease of access; otherwise, anything goes.

Just throw out your suggestions, make any plans with anyone else you want...and prepare for the awesomeness that this seems to be shaping up to be.

Personally, I've never been very good at RP'ing normal life stuff. Like parties, and standing around talking to people. If it starts out as a party but maybe then becomes something else...?
But that's just me.

Well . . . I suppose . . . if you really wanted a story born from all this . . . I guess I can cook something up for us.

But first, I'd need to know if this is something everyone wants, or just a couple people like Leth. It'll help me figure out how big to make this. Once I've gotten a few more opinions, I can come up with a few ideas, shoot 'em to ZV, and get something going.

Honestly, I won't deny, since HA2 ended, writing skills have started to suck. Badly. Worse than badly. I don't know if HA3's still in the works, and I don't know how committed I'll be after the Christmas thing, but I'm starting to realize that I kinda need this place. We'll see how things evolve.
