As Reti left the library she looked for the old man who had helped her find the scrolls. "Thank you for the help sir, i will be back tomorrow to search some more", she said. He nodded and smiled, "It is no trouble my dear girl". She stepped outside and began to look around."I should find a place to stay, but first lets see how much money I have." Reti opens her wallet 6 Rupees. That may be enough, but what about food? She contemplated in her head what she should do. Sleeping on the ground wouldn't be so bad, she thought.
Taver floated out of her cloak and looked at her and asked, "So where are we staying tonight Reti?" She looked down and said, "No where. We don't have enough Rupees to stay somewhere and get food to eat." Her eyes filled with tears. She was upset that she could keep Taver somewhere safe. This was there first time out of the forest and they wouldnt have anywhere to stay. He looked at her. her head was down in shame. He watched a tear run down her face and knew she was upset about not being able to find a warm bed for her and himself.
Her blonde hair was covering her face so he could not see all the shame she felt on the inside. "Reti, it's ok. We will be fine tonight. No problem," he said. She rubbed her eyes and looked up at him. "Ok, im sorry Taver", she said. They looked for a place to stay outside. She found a low hanging tree that seemed like a good place to stay. She pulled some branches down around her and built a makeshift tent. She untied her hair and long blonde curly locks of hair fell to her waist. She then undid the braids and shook out her hair. She pulled out her blanket and layed down. Taver layed down next to her and she slowly fell asleep.
As she laid there trying to fall asleep she felt the frost coming and could feel winter slowly creeping through the woods. Soon it would be difficult to travel alone. Her breath frosted as she breathed out. She had a small shiver run through her body. She was scared. Her mind was running with thoughts of failing and never seeing the Deku Tree or the other kokiri ever again.
As sleep crept in she tossed and turned as nightmares slowly moved in to her sleep and she slept restlessly
