[Music=A Journey Coming to a Close]

Inside the inn, the group stood in the lobby soaking wet. Zora returned from the counter and handed Sarthen, Emandra, and Leth brown sacks. "Inside is your payment for your troubles along with your respective room keys. This place has complimentary meals, so help yourself to some good eats." He lifted his hand to shake Leth's hand.

"Take care of yourself, Bullseye. If you ever want to set sail with the old crew or just catch up, go to Darkin's house in New Peaktop. You can find it just east of the giant Rito statue in town square- it's the one with the yellow roof." He turned to the others, "A friend of Bullseye's is a friend of mine. If you two ever need anything that's within my power to give, say the word." He turned with a smile on his lips and waved goodbye.

"You may have reached the end of your quest, but I'm only halfway through my own. I can't stick around unfortunately. Safe travels, friends!" He then drew his hood up and hurried out the door.

"HOLY CRAP THERE'S LIKE 2000 RUPEES IN HERE!!!" Emandra nearly screamed, Sarthen wrapping his hands around her mouth, "Will you quiet down?!" He scream-whispered. "You want every thug in town to hear you?" He let go of her and she turned red, "Oops! Sorry... Wait, what are you worried about? We've got Deth- I mean Bullseye- I mean Leth here to protect us." She smiled a toothy grin at the archer.

Sarthen couldn't help but chuckle. "We've sure been through a lot together in the past 13 or so hours. Hard to believe we were complete strangers yesterday. Anyways, I'm tired and hungry, but mostly tired. I'm headed to bed. If I don't see you two in the morning, I just want to say... I haven't felt this alive (or sore for that matter) in several years. Leth... I didn't think I'd say this a while ago, but... Thanks for roping me into this. It's been fun and lucrative."

Emandra nodded in agreement. "Ditto. This was quite an adventure. We beat up some racist punks, put a couple of highway bandits six feet under, save a woman and her baby AND reunited them with their family in Rauru, and on TOP of all that, we stopped a dangerous man and if THAT weren't enough, we made bank." She turned to Leth, "I'm with Sarthen though. I'm bushed, and I'm still kind of full from earlier. I ate a lot- A LOT." She giggled and dug her room key out of her bag.

"Room #12." She said out loud, her eyes rising up to meet Leth's. "Room number twelve." She repeated with a smile. "G'night!" She turned and hurried off.

Sarthen watched her run off and turned to Leth, "Well if THAT wasn't obvious. I'm gonna head off to my room and try not to hate you. Ho ho ho!" He pulled a piece of paper out of his robe and held it against the head of his staff as he scribbled something on it. "That's my home address. Come find me if you ever want to do something like this again." With that he turned and walked away.

The adventure had been long and painful. Allies gained and challenges triumphed. A journey for children and grandchildren certainly. A story of cursed objects and a crew of vigilante pirates. A tale of how three people went from making 600 rupees each to 2000. A tale of an archer and his courage carrying his allies when the chips were down. Where will Leth's journey take him next? Only time will tell.

OoC: You wrapped this up so nicely, I'm not sure if I should make one final reply or not....
... yeah, I will anyway XD

As they approached Rauru Town, Leth's spirits began to lift as a sense of finality began washing over him. It had been quite a day, but it was behind them now. The warmth and cheer of the Stockpot Inn greeted Leth like an old friend... though, come to think of it, he had never actually stayed here before.

He thankfully accepted the sack from Taint, and raised his eyebrows at the weight.
"Take care of yourself, Bullseye. If you ever want to set sail with the old crew or just catch up, go to Darkin's house in New Peaktop. You can find it just east of the giant Rito statue in town square- it's the one with the yellow roof."
"You know, I might just do that." Leth said as he shook the Zora's hand. "And thanks for everything. If you hadn't shown up, who knows what kinds of trouble we might have ended up in with that old scoundrel."
"Safe travels, friends!"
"And to you! May the Goddesses guide you!" He said, and watched Taint leave. Just as he was about to examine the contents of his bag, Emandra did it for him. He winced as she announced it to the lobby, followed by a laugh at the exchange between her and Sarthen.
"What are you worried about? We've got Deth- I mean Bullseye- I mean Leth here to protect us."
"Keep that up, and maybe I won't." he said with a grin.
If I don't see you two in the morning, I just want to say... I haven't felt this alive (or sore for that matter) in several years. Leth... I didn't think I'd say this a while ago, but... Thanks for roping me into this. It's been fun and lucrative."
"Well, I'm probably gonna be heading back to Castle Town tomorrow. I'd sure love to have some company." He said, looking at the two of them. It was remarkable how close they had grown in such a short time.
I suppose risking your lives for each other will do that. He mused.

It wasn't until Emandra stated her room number for the second time that he caught on to what she was implying. There was no hiding it this time - Leth's face turned beet red.
"Oh! Well, I, uh... that is, I..." He stammered as she began to walk away.
"Well if THAT wasn't obvious. I'm gonna head off to my room and try not to hate you. Ho ho ho!"
Leth had nothing to say to that but look at the floor and try not to look any more embarrassed than he already did.
"That's my home address. Come find me if you ever want to do something like this again."
Leth took the paper and tucked it into his pocket.
"I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other. Thanks for everything, old timer." He said.
With both of them gone, Leth stood there for several seconds by himself, thinking, before going to find his room. He made mental note of his number and dropped all of his things there at the foot of his bed.

This has definitely been one for the books. He thought to himself as he surveyed the room and reflected on the events of the day, and smiled. I have a feeling this isn't the last time I'll be seeing either of them.

He stood there for a few more moments before he walked out of the room, locking the door behind him.

Now... Where is room number twelve?
