Very QUICK: I need a head count of who's here.

Yeah, yeah, I aint going anywhere.

I probably don't count, but I'm at least on the site for a moment!

I've been doing some minor 'creative writing' lately, making simply notes on all the Role Playing Characters I've played and Adventures I've run over the years. I hazily remembered this forum, then came back to check. Apparently, this was my first ever experience with any type of fantasy roleplaying! Now, I play D&D rather regularly, possibly thanks to the first taste I had here.

In late 2006, I signed up because Zarathustra had a 'free form' adventure he wanted to run, so I made my character a Minish named Kelari that had been changed to roughly the size of a gnome. That didn't go very far. I did make a guest appearance in one of Orpheous's threads about fighting an Angel of Death that's still up there near Ruto Town.

Just under a year later, I came back and made a new account, Goncorgoro, which was a ton of fun, but I still faded off the boards pretty quickly.

Anyhow, cool to see that there is still a remnant here! I definitely hope to be around if HA3 comes to be!

I should tell you that most of the members here, while inactive, are still in contact with each other, and are also willing to return for a third installment of the game. Please leave your email here (or PM me) and I'll contact you personally should that ever happen.

That's good to hear! I can see that age has taken a bit of a toll on the site. I cannot change my password, as it has an error in the SQL query. That's the sort of thing I work on professionally now

I see that a lot of old posts are gone. Are they erased, or archived somewhere?

I don't think HA2 uses pruning. If they were archived, they'd be in the dungeon I assume. Check it through the Traveling Within the Castle link.

For those of you who are on the FB page, you already know what this is about:

I've begun working on a choose-you-own adventure story that will use HA2 characters/events. So far, I've managed to establish a basic plotline as well as what character's I'd like to focus the story ON, though I intend to include as many authors/characters as possible at this point, it's already clear to me that I'll need to set up a set number of routes to work with in order to make this even possible.

Sounds like an interesting endeavor! I had some fun last year reading through an old, official Zelda CYOA!

I saw a comment talking about what counts as HA2 Canon, and this could be a fun exercise in partly determining that.

Side question: is there anyone that knows the overall plot of HA1?

Also, whatever we end up doing, I just gotta digress that I don't think I'll RP as Nogare. Unless you guys really want him to be part of it, but I might use someone different. ^^;
