You walk into the building and see a guy drumming his fingers on the counter he is standing behind. "Say there, a customer! Who woulda thought it?

" ... Well, you here to stand around and look stupid or shoot?" he jokes. "We supply the ammo, but yer gonna need yer own shooter upper. So here's the deal, 10 rupees for ten shots. Ya hit 1 or 2, no rupees. Hit 3 or 4, 5 rupees. 5 or 6, instand refund, worht all the fun. 7 or 8, a whopping 20 rupees. For 9, 40 whole rupees. 10 ya get yer grand prize! Wanna have a go at it?"

How this works: The moderator will have a pre-set list of 1's and 2's. There are ten of those numbers in a row. 1221211211, for example. You will have to guess the numbers. Each matchup is a hit.

Pre-set:
  • 1221211211

Your guess:
  • 2112111212

* = Hits

Julian gives the man a sly grin.

'I've always been a sucker for gambling'

"Sure, take these. I'll be getting them back any way but I want you to show what you're about to lose"

Julian slams down a couple of rupees on the man's table and takes out his sling shot. He gives a quick brush on the handle's exterior. He closes his left eye and aligns his right eye with his shooter and gives a quick glance to the man again.

"Well... are you going to stand there and look stupid or are you going get me some ammo ?"

"Perhaps not. But here, since you paid." He hands Julian his ammo. The man turns to the shooting lane and shouts, "Get 'er ready!" After a moment of clashing and clanging in the background, plates seem to hover across down at the end of the lane. You can see that they are pulled by strings.

The zora sets his first bullet on the sling, his fingers graps roughly against the rubber exterior and pulls. The wood begins to creak and just before it seems as if it were to snap the bullet flies out. He does this with every other shot, each one quicker than the last. His aim only jerking every so often to align it with the remaining plates.

"Hey! Six hits! Pretty good shot there, just keep working and you will be even better!" He gives Julian his well earned 40 rupees.

"Well, what did I tell you! Double in return! I think I'll sit one out! I want to see who can match me in skill."

With a quick swipe of the hand, the rupees fly into the zora's satchel. He walks to a near by chair and slouches down on it. His eyes locked onto the door as he watches for any challengers. His eyes glance back to the assumed owner.

"Hey, what is the grand prize?"

OCC: Hey, won't you eventualy run out of rupees if the challengers are way too skilled?

OOC: Me? Run out of rupees? It won't happen. Admins have the ability to put rupees into accounts without donating them. Each player is limited to one game a day, and if people start getting an insane ammount of rupees, I will change that.

OOC:Umm...my character sort of asked a question. What's the grand prize?

OCC: yeah, if you're not gonna tell us just say it , but don't leave us in doubt...

OOC: Please, don't get mad. I was going to have the guy say he wasn't going to tell you, but I got hung up and forgot when I was writing my OOC response. I had no desire to neglect your question, I just took to much time responding to mikaudes and forgot about Julian's question. Stupid me.

OOC:It doesn't matter, I sort of already knew it was going to be a secret. I'll pretend that you already told my character that it's a secret.

"A secret prize, eh. Well then, I can't afford anyone taking my prize, can I? I'll take another go at it."

Julian pushes himself out of his chair and begins to crack his knuckles as he walks to the man's table. A quick grin and he slides twenty rupees in front of the man. The zora takes the amount of ammo he needs and sets himself behind the shooting bar, his arm resting calmly on the bar's exterior and his left eye aligns with his sling shot as he prepares himself.

"I hope these aren't your dinner plates I'm shooting."

OOC:I think I'm going to be the one you're gonna have to be worrying on winning too much money. Heh, heh...

"Get 'er goin'!" he roars down the lane. In moments the plates are hovering across the lane.

OOC: If it comes to that, I think that three sided die (or is it di?) will start to look real friendly. :)

As he did before, the bullets flew forth in each direction as they search for their target. Their whistle sounding off into the air as they get closer to their desired plate.

'Come on, don't miss...'

"Gar! Six again! You seem to like that number. Enjoy your rupees."

Note: Cost and prizes have been modified. View first post. Julian still got his forty (minus twenty).
