Hyrule Adventures 2

OOC:Sorry, but this will not be an interactive post, actually, it should have been my very first post, as it is the very first day of my character in Hyrule, if you watch my profile, you'll know what I mean, so please, only post OOC, as if I already met you, it wouldn't make sense that I met you before, get it?

IC: ...Alex!!...seek for your sister...the north!!!...Alex!!...hey...are you alright?...
hey...c'mon...open your eyes
"Mother?" said Alex between dreams.
"Excuse me?" said the other voice.
Alex slowly opened his eyes to realize that he was no longer in his cove, the first thing he saw was the wooden ceiling, he turned his head, sunlight was coming thru a nice window, a night table was there with a glass of milk and some bread.
"Hey, I'm over here" said a female voice.
Alex turned his head to the other side to see a young Hylia girl with a little wet towel
on his hand.
She had blond hair with big, brown eyes and strange smile, apparently she was having fun to see Alex lying there, in a bed.
"Who are you? where am I?"Alex noticed that just saying this caused him an awful pain in the head.
"Hi, I'm Aryka nice to meet you, you're in the Traveler's Hostel, some soldiers brought you here about a month ago, you where unconscious, they said they found you under a bunch of rocks and you were all injured and so Anju took you here and we took care of you and sometimes you yelled in dreams and..."

Alex was slowly absorbing this information that was being shoot at him
Traveler's what? unconscious? a month ago?!

"...and so he said he wouldn't go out with me and I said "you're a jerk!" and ..."
"Wait, was somebody with me when they brought me, another Zora?"
"No, but there was this rough Goron with a scar and blade, and my brother said he.."

There were no zoras with him, he had been unconscious for almost a month, wherever he was, screaming about his mother...

"Are you okay? you can ask for anything... if you want..."

Alex was glad that Aryka shut up, he was gaining energy for the mere fact of being awoke, he grabbed some bread and chewed it.

...

After a couple of hours, Alex had get out of the bed, and so he went for a walk around the town, he realized he was in North Castle Town, that there were no signs of his family, and that he shouldn't bother a Cucco.
He went back to the Traveler's Hostel to talk to Aryka, as she was his only friend now.

"Aryka, where are the Laruto Falls?"
"Laruto? It's to the south you know, and there is this..."
"I know how it is" said Alex before she started talking too much " I come from there, don't you remember"
"Yeah, sort of..."
" Well, I'm going there to see if there is any Zora still living there"
"Want some drink? When are you going?"
" Actually I'm going tomorrow..."
"But, won't you stay here a couple of days?"
" I can't waste time, Aryka"
"Okay...but you'll be in the field, with nothing to eat, and surrounded by beasts and..."
A sheikah was hearing the conversation with a funny expression "So you're traveling?"
" Yeah I am, that is not your business"
" But I can give you a hint"
" ..." Alex examinated the face of the stranger for a second"OK, I'm listening ( should I really trust him?)"
" You see, if you want to be in the wild, you must become one with the wild, and there is this guy that can help you, few know his real name but they know him as the Shadow Master, he's a freak, he can train you to endure even the longest trip"
" Oh yeah, and where can I find this Shadow Master"
"Oh, his not an easy guy, he lives, or more specifically, he hides in the Windmill, far to the north in the mountains, even getting there is an achievement, he can train you..."
"Thank you, did you hear Aryka I'm becoming a Ranger! what's your name, sir?"
But when he looked the Sheikah was gone.

...

The bright sunlight was reflecting on the lake by the bridge; Alex was standing there, looking at the new world in front of him, Aryka was looking at the lake with a lost and happy expresion...
"Aryka..."muttered Alex
"Huh?" she said without looking at him
"I need to go now..."
"But I thought you were going to stay a little more" she said then turning to him
For a moment Alex did not know what to say "Thanks for taking care of me it was really nice, but I need to find my sister"
"Here..." Aryka lifted her hand "I made this for you" Alex picked the leather bracelet
"Thank you" he said as he put it on
"Promise you will come back"
"I promise"
"Now go"
"Good bye"

OOC:Great post Mikau! It reminds me of a story I once read. It sort of cool how you explained why you wanted to be a ranger. Well, I can't do much here except say that I like the way you write so I hope to see more. See ya!

OOC: Yes, I too hope to see more of your writing skills. I really like the way you're going with your story, as well as how you've stayed with it from the beginning. As for posting this so late, I don't think it matters; I mean, people here are always in two places at once or jumping back and forth through time. It's pretty flexible, so when you really have to shed some light on a past event you can do so. Besides, you even explained it at the beginning, which makes it even better!

But, overall, I like the way you're heading, and I can't wait for the next installment.

OOC:Thank you guys, it's really nice to hear that someone likes my stories, and I'm taking this post to also tell you that there is something wrong with my computer so it's possible that I won't be able to post in my most recent topic.

OOC: Happy days! The South preview has been revealed, Alpha's Goldforce storyline is continuing soon, Phantompig has returned, and now Alex has returned! Glad to see you!

odd...looks like me and alex are a part of a streak of good news...well lets hope it keeps goin.

Great to hear that you're back Alex, I don't remember the last time i read some of your work...but of course...i don't remember the last time i came to HA before the past week...

You better not show any weakness in your writing, kid. We want the best.
