As you walk through the courtyard seeking whatever you please such as dining, adventure, prostitutes (you monster), you notce and odd new building. Quaint as it is, it gives many of the people around it the feeling of warmth that one would normally find when sitting around a fire recounting past adventures and telling of ages long passed. A small chimney spurts billowing smoke into the open autumn atmosphere of the gathering. Unlike the smoke that flows mystically from a vagabond's pipe (that ashen displeasure), this smoke carries a fragrance of chopped herbs and seafoods, and you can only imagine what's cooking inside. As you approach, a man steps out of the hut and smiles at you. His black hair is cut short, this man has a rather laid-back appearance. A neat deep brown jacket hangs loosely on his torso, his pants are an odd jeanlike material. In his hand he carries a bowl of stew, in the other rests a large volume, more than likely a scripture of ancient history. As the distance between you and the man decreses, he speaks to you.
Hello, there, adventurer. Might you join me as I look through this text on ancient Hyrule? Through the secrets of the past, I hope to ensure a bountiful, wondrous future. I am Solstrem Maverick, ex-mage of the Calatian Grand Forces Of Spells And Wisdom. I have decided to retire here to a more peaceful, relaxed country. I am upset, however, to find passage to Saria town unavailable. I would dearly have loved to revisit my old summer home. Ah well..... Anyway, would you care to join me for a meal and some study?

"Ah! A scholor! Sir, I am well a cleric. I am convicted of an unfair crime. I wish not to speak my name. Call me Shadow'sSavior. I wish to learn, sir, and if you have knowledge of healing spells, I would like to hear it."
Denning is cloacked, you can not see his face.

The man looks at Denning curiously.
"ShadowSavior"? Now how did you come by that name? Very well... but let's shorten it to SS, shall we?
Unfortunately I am bound by law, I can not legally teach you anything. But you are welcome to study with me. You may go through any of my books over there, perhaps you'll learn something yourself.
Now, as unemtioned earlier... I also study medicines and healing, it's a pastime of mine. In this book here, he gestures towards the ancient text in his lap, I have read of an ancient follower of Ganon named Bereagor, now long dead, of course. But in his biography, there is an unfinished segment pertaining to a curse apparently cast by this shaman. I have gathered that a Sheikah killed Bereagor, and fled the country with the remnants of the disease as a last resort to countering it. Interesting story, isn't it? But not long ago, a seer crossed my path and spoke of omens, saying that the curse has returned. Perhaps the Sheikah has returned to Hyrule? I am curretnly studying a counter to this sickness. If you ever happen upon a strange Sheikah, bring him here.
The fate of Hyrule, and therin you - it's people - could be at fate in this turn of events. It is important that he be found. That is all I ask. Now... shall we read, ShadowSavior?

"Hm, alright. Well, lets read!"
Denning picks up a book(that has somthing to do with light magic) and starts to read.

So, a cleric, are you? In service to the Goddesses, are you? Clericism is my worst field of study. I was always best with Scribing and Magic. So, Denning. I see you're reading up on Light Magic. Powerful indeed. The only kind that is necessary and pure enough to defeating demons of the Dark World, such as Ganon. Excelent reads, those histories.
So, have you any interest in the great mysteries of the world, Cleric Denning? I enjoy studying them for their secrets. I am currently studying the case of Tom Beltuke and Gloria Ironfire, and their disappearance from Hyrule. It ties in nicely with the legacies of the famous Myst Wolfeye and one Blank Fireside. Have you ever heard these stories?

At the menchion of Blank Denning looks up.
"Blank, ive meet him, hes only just arrived in Hyrule. please share with me his tale."
Denning closes the book.

Waddles strolls in, undaunted and wary. He notices the cloaked figure, but the person is unrecognizable as of yet. He takes a seat after hearing the very end of the two's conversation. "If you don't mind...?" Waddles gestures to the seat, suggesting that he sit down, but ready to exit if the man so wishes.

Maverick the scholar looks up and sees Waddles, then smiles and gestures towards the empty chair.
Haha! So, it seems another adventurer wishes to hear the tale as well? Hello, friend. I am Solstrem Maverick, mage of Calatia. But before I bore you with introductions, let me begin my story.
Now, Denning, I am completely surprised to find that he stills lives, or that he ended up here of all places. In all the time I've known him, I have secretly studied his past, trying to link it to unsolved mysteries. I have reached a thesis that I am 99.9% sure of. That's very close to entirely sure, as you no doubt realize. But, I was under the impression he was dead. The King of Calatia did sentence him to exile and execution... the method must have been to assumptious.
If you see him after I divulge the tale, you may think differently of him. Are you sure you wish me to tell it?

"Yes, he and I are having a bit of trouble with a group of folk, this may clear up what it is that is happening."

Oh, a group of strangers? Perhaps my story will wrap up a few loose ends for you. Although most strange figures in the tale are no longer alive.
It begins with Tom Beltuke and Gloria Ironfire, two warriors that met in a guild called the Expanding Questors. They fell in love, it was the expectations of the other guild members that they be married and retire from the guild. They did just that. It wasn't long before they headed to Mido town and began to raise a family. Fellow guild member Myst Wolfeye, the Sheikah, accompanied them and served as a guardian to their child, who was unnamed. For not long after birth, a violent beast called Horsehead stirred chaos in Parapa Desert. Beltuke and Ironfire were summoned by the Questors to defeat the creature and liberate Parapa, but were ultimately met by their demise. Myst, during the chaos that was his best friends' death, had fought with a dangerous warlock, ensuring a safer future for Hyrule. In doing so, the Sheikah lent his body to a curse cast by the wizard, and was forced to flee to Byrna, a bordering country. There was nought he could do but take the child with him.
Upon docking at Byrna's famous Port Feror, a city bustling with merchants and nobles, tragedy struck. Outside of the city, on a trail leading north, Myst and the boy were assaulted by Moblins. Despicable creatures. Myst was slaughtered, and the child was abducted and taken across seas again, to distant Calatia, the home of this special breed of Moblins.
The chief, whose name was Ulkra Mid-Dao The Fierce, dubbed him Red Hair Kid, until the day that he took him to be his full son. The chief's true son, Blank Mid-Dao, had disappeared during a battle against the Calatian Armed Forces. Seeing Red Hair Kid as an innapropriate name for his new son, Mid-Dao named him Blank, in rememberance of his blood son. Blank had honed his skills with sword and shield until he was five and received his name and rank. By fifteen, he was the talk of Calatia. A murderer, a nomad, a thief. Calatia's most wanted man. But he was raised this way. He was told that pillaging was correct. But on a raid of the castle town, he found himself locked in a library. So he read. He just happened to find an account of Moblin History, and of the earliest exploits of the King of Evil.
Enraged at the lie his life had become, Blank betrayed Mid-Dao and his tribe, and slaughtered them like animals. Vowing to never spill so much blood again, he retired to the Knight of Calatia, and was accepted. No one knew he was the killer from the wanted ads.
Eight years. I worked with him for eight years, until a man pointed him out as the boy who had slaughtered his family and stolen his valuables years ago. The King was outraged at Blank's sneaky demeanor, and felt threatened. And thus, Blank was sentenced to death. However, on a technicality, he escaped with only exile as punishment. But the king's method was a sure execution.
Blank was shoved in a casket, and dumped into the Great Sea. He must have just arrived in Hyrule nought but a few months ago.
Your strangers seem unmentioned in the tale. Bu, are you satisfied, knowing the well-kept secrets of another man?
Solstrem sits back and watches Denning, pondering the impact of telling of his former ally's past. Even he felt uncomfortable knowing.
OOC : Yeah that's right

Extra long backstory recaps for all!

by Waddles
Waddles, although not closely familiar with this Blank character, sits intrigued by the story passing through his ears.
"You mean to say that Blank slaughtered his entire fellow tribe...? And now you and all the others working alongside him knew him as a completely innnocent ally, only to be shocked with news of his former betrayal? Does this not strike you as odd... that a boy of few years would remain... well..... sane, after such intense slaughter? I must commend him. His mind should be well developed to keep such information locked away for so long, and at such a young age. Such a feat, I know few who could accomplish. Horrible, but stunningly clever. Yes, quite clever indeed."
Waddles reclines to gather his thoughts and opinions about someone with such an unforgivable past.

Maverick stands and stretches, then acknowledges the strange, dark figure.
I may indeed be able to solve your quandary, good sir. But it is not my place to meddle in the afairs of others. My books however, could be of great assistance to you. You may read through them fpr any researchable information possible. why, just last Tuesday I learned of a strange mobster team from Calatia. I had never seen cases of mobsters in all my life, until reading through the Histories of Hyrule's Surrounding Countries encyclopedia.
My point is, that you may find whatever it is you are looking for by simply sitting down and taking the time to find out. It is very enriching.
He turns back to speak with Waddles and Denning.
Waddles is correct, Denning. I imagine Blank's sanity is at the brink of collapse. So, did you find this... "tale"... interesting?

OOC: Sorry about the confusion, but by "recline" I meant "to lean back oneself in a relaxed manner as in a chair or sofa." So... Waddles is still here, if you could make that adjustment to your post.
IC: "Well, I for one am a bit curious, now hearing such a tale. Please continue with your story."
