Alpha's Quest for the Po Rune

Darkness was falling yet again. Nighttime fell over the land of Hyrule yet again, and the shadows of the North Forest grew even darker. The rustling of the trees in the wind was all that any living creature could hear, and no matter how hard they tried they could not have heard the newcomer to their homes. For, as all know, Sheikah thrive in the darkness.
Alpha walked through the woods, always intently searching the forest floor for any sign of the Po Rune that would allow that rift of Hiro's to send them to Incinera. There they could obtain a cure for Hiree's poison...as well as the Thunder Shard that Alpha so desperately wanted. 'The ability to control Lightning whenever I need it...it would perfect my skills. I could cast any of Rohtric's spells whenever I desired it, instead of having to wait twenty minutes conjuring up a lightning storm.'
The Sheikah had no idea where the Rune could be, but Hiro seemed to know something about it, so Alpha had decided to go and visit the Incineran's home, which he'd heard was somewhere in this forest. He'd been looking for it for most of the day before he finally spotted a clearing ahead of him. He entered it -
- and was shocked to find hundreds of people standing there.
Alpha quickly slipped into Shadowmeld, whipping out his staff and holding it in a defensive position at the same time. Suddenly his eyes caught a glow. At first he believed it to be his scar, but then noticed that it was green instead of blue. ‘Wait a second…the Shard!’ He looked down, and, sure enough, his Shard was glowing a bright green.
“Nice Shard. Looks just as good as ever.”
“What?” Alpha couldn’t stop himself from yelling. His gaze shot back up to see one of the people, a young boy, standing in front of him. Even with the cloak of Shadowmeld covering him, the child seemed to be able to see him. He gazed at the boy for several seconds before the answer hit him. “You’re a…you’re all Eclipse Mirages.”
The boy chuckled. “You got it! And, as an Eclipse Mirage, I know everything there is to know! Such as the fact that you were just about ready to blast us all with that Fire Spell of yours before your Shard started glowing!” Alpha slowly stood up, impressed. He had indeed been mentally preparing his Fire Spell when he’d noticed the green glow from his chest. He dropped his Shadowmeld and the boy continued. “Yeah, that Shard of yours is pretty neat. I remember when I got to use it…it used to be mine, but I died a few months later, in this very forest! It’s pretty neat, lasting forever as a mirage, knowing everything there is to know, and all that stuff.”
Alpha held up his still-glowing jewel. “So I’m guessing that the only reason you can talk to me is because I have this?”
The boy nodded enthusiastically. “You betcha! Of course, any other Shard’ll let me talk to you, but the Earth one’s special, at least to me, that is. I probably wouldn’t have come forward to speak to you if you’d had any other Shard.” He paused for a second, taking on a semi-serious expression. “You’re looking for the Po Rune, right?”
Alpha nodded.
“Well, that’ll be fun. Someone already has it; found a couple of months ago. Let’s see…” He focused for a second. “Yeah. Some guy in the North Castle has it. Let’s see…his name’s…ah! That’s it! Gorodo! You know him.” He wasn’t asking a question.
A cold shiver ran up the Sheikah’s spine. “Gorodo…oh no…” He gulped. ‘My past is finally starting to catch up with me…if he’s here in Hyrule, and without my knowing it…this can’t be good.’ He looked the boy in the eyes. “Thank you…” He got up, turned, and began walking away.
The boy waved as Alpha left. "Come back if you need any help ever again! Just make sure you bring a Shard along with you!" He watched as Alpha walked out of the meadow, back towards the castle where his old acquaintance now resided...
