Alpha leads the rest of the puzzle-solvers along the winding path up towards New Peaktop. He stops for nothing, even when the wind becomes fierce. 'I wonder...what will this next clue be about? And, more importantly, how the heck did Shodak intend to keep it from flying away?' He glances up as a few rocks are blown over the side of the cliff. 'This wind is fierce enough to blow rocks away...how can a scrap of paper be kept from doing the same?'

The group reaches the the approximate area where Alpha remembered Malciore had said he had been thrown off by Umbra. He gives it a quick glance-over, but spots nothing. "Alright!" he yells over the wind. "Let's spread out and see where this riddle is!"

The group splits up, each intensively looking in different places. After a few minutes, Shada, who has been searching close to the edge, stands and cries out, "I found it!" Everyone hurries over to the place. Alpha abruptly realizes that this is probably the exact spot where Malciore had been cast away by the demon. 'Shodak's still got his old touch...'

Coming closer, it becomes quite apparent as to how the message was intended to stay in one place. Shada rests her hands on an odd, almost conical shaped stone which juts upward from the ground. The top half of the rock seems to have been cut away, leaving a smooth surface on the top of what remained. On it was inscribed the next riddle:
'Well done, Alpha. Let me continue:

Along the waters where you Sheikah met
Your ally right after your greatest threat.
Not one nor the other, but in between:
A northwest corner is the place I mean.'
Alpha cocks his head at the riddle. "Okay...any ideas? Anyone?"

OOC: OK, um, I'm going to head home from work now. So I'll be gone for about 30-45 minutes. You guys can use that time to figure this riddle out. Get 2 solved and you can take a stab at 3 while I'm at a friend's house tonight!

ooc: that was fast

IC: Well i have no idea. At one point I wasnt around so alot of this probaby happened then. Cloud sat down, obviously deep in thought. I wonder if Dar Ke has anything to do with this...Nah, he wouldnt leave cryptic clues like this. Umm, maybe we have to check the big lake in the middle of Hyrule Feild! Cloud looked a little happy. He never guesses anything right.

Having arrived at the cliff, Victor struggled to stay on his feet in the strong winds, clutching on to his billowing cloak for warmth. When Shada announced that she had fonud the message he tried his best to hurry over, but was careful not to move too quickly when so close to the edge. He didn't want to become the subject of some other riddle, after all.

Victor was in the process of chewing over the riddle when Cload pointed out the lake, and smiled as he realized something.

"That's right! Didn't you and Shada meet up at the lake's shore, Alpha? Perhaps you have some thing there, er..."

The Bard raised an eyebrow at the other man, and upon realizing that he didn't think they had met before, he extended his hand.

"I don't think we've met. I'm Victor..."

Arco moves from rock to rock, lifting them, expecting a note like before to be under any one of them.

And then... this guy. A human in a well-pressed suit and slicked-down hair walks by, carrying a briefcase. Arco watches the man for a moment or two before stepping towards him. All of a sudden, the man trips and falls, dropping his briefcase which explodes in a flurry of white documents. These are soon claimed by the harsh wind, which floats off, down, down...

Only one shared scream is heard: "Noooooooooo!"

---

Arco wakes up from the vivid daydream. "Haddr de turrruk," [that was awfully surreal] he muses to himself. He shakes his head slightly and moves over to where the others are reading the riddle. He stoops down on one knee...

OOC: Wait... MS IV was already at the northwest corner, so I'm guessing we're looking at f22? Sort of equidistant from MS III and MS IV. Pretty much?

OOC: Ummm...oh gasp.

Clap-clap-clap!

Wow. It only took you guys about thirty minutes to figure this one out. Weien already guessed the area too! To think I doubted you guys after that first one!

............never mind.

IC:
Alpha nods in agreement to Cloud and Victor's interpretation. "That makes sense. I met both Shada and Zaboorak at that lake. If I remember the way the lake is laid out, it kind of has two northwest corners. I met Shada at one, so it must be the...more-south...one."

Shada grins triumphantly, even though she didn't do anything but find the clue. "Let's get going then!" She leaps up into the air...and immediately grabs ahold of Alpha's arm as the wind tries to carry her away.

The male Sheikah sighs. "Let's calmly get going."

OOC: To Clue #3!

As Dogura battled the harsh winds, he was thankful that he had bought a jacket. As he reached the point where everyone had stopped, the group was already on the move. "What!" Dogura exclaimed. "Already? Wow... All right then, I guess i had better quicken my pace..." Dogura said, as he sheded all extra weight, including the cheap jacket, which didnt help much in the first place. He gracefully, leapt along the rocks, swaying with the wind, rather than against it.
