The group enters into the darkness of the cave. Alpha sighs as a bit of relief washes over him as he returns to his natural element. But the calm is immediately interrupted as Shada shouts out enthusiastically, "Let's find that clue!"

As the group moves further into the caverns, the light begins to dim. Some of the Gorons working nearby offer them a few lanterns, which a few members take and hold up above their heads, shedding light on the path. After searching for a few minutes, however, everyone comes up empty handed. There is no writing or notes on the walls, under rocks, etc.

Alpha slowly lets the thoughts churn around in his head. 'It has to be here...this is the only place that makes sense...' He pulls out the third clue from beneath his cape, and reads it carefully. Then he reads it a second time, and finally a third before he is struck by inspiration.

Craning his neck upwards, he scours the ceiling itself. The clue mentions Keese, so perhaps...there! The Sheikah leaps up to a particularly large stalactite, wrapping his arm around it to keep from falling. He grabs at the robe that he had noticed encircling it, and removes the piece of paper that it presses against the rock. Arriving down on the ground again, he carefully unfolds it as Shada holds up her lantern so he can read it:
It always seems strange, at least does to me,
When I go to the house, seeing a tree –
Or actually five, although I would think
They’d wither quite soon, for lack of a drink.
OOC: Okay, I have to go to a friend's house for the rest of the night. Well...I don't have to, but I figure that doing so gives me an opportunity to let the slackers who only appeared once in PP #1 to catch up. If you guys solve this one tonight - as I'm confident you can - I'll give you #5 in the morning. Until then, see ya!

Cloud got it instantly. He stood their for a while though, as not to look like a know-it-all. He pondered and pondered and then spoke.

I got it! In Parapa Desert, there is a house, to the immediate south-west there is a group of trees. the riddle said that there was a house and 5 trees. It also said there shouldnt be trees, because they'd wither and die. And where is there no water?

Cloud wated for an answer but got none.

A desert! Now to be presice...At Parapa Desert (p28) there is a place that matches this criteria perfectly.

Cloud cast a spell on a piece of parchment with a special code on it, and threw it on the ground. Instantly it turned into a portal. Cloud stepped through...Will you do the same?

Alpha nods at Cloud interpretation. "That certainly makes sense!" Now that the Sheikah thinks about it, he does recall the house in Parapa that stands, oddly enough, next to five trees. He's always wondered about how they can survive in the desert, but never really stopped to think about it through, so it just stayed at the back of his mind.

That is obviously not the case with Cloud, and Alpha applaudes his memory. "Alright, then let's get going!" He climbs through the protal Cloud has made - though he does indeed wonder how the man created it - and steps into the desert.

OOC: To Clue #5!

Arco looks up from where he's idly scratching his initials (A.P.) on an otherwise-bare rock wall. In a spurt of uncharacteristic verbosity, he muses:

"I suppose the proximity of those five trees to the eastern sea is the key to their survival... a severe increase in the development of secondary roots would facilitate this."

He scratches out an underline, accidentally chipping off a large piece of rock as he does so.

"Or, I suppose, a very, very long taproot system..."

One hand comes up to cover his mouth in ponderance before he wipes the silt off his hand and heads after the others.
