Hyrule Adventures 2

Towering over the lip of the clifface above you is one of the largest buildings you're ever seen, if not the largest. It is the Windmill, once a monument to Hyrulian industry, now a blasting powder grinding facility owned by the Goro-Goro Cartel.

The open cave before you is actually the entrance to the Windmill it seems. A staircase leads up from just inside the cavern.

It goes around and around and around and around... Verily, I hope nobody invokes the ancient Song of Storms Cousin Archmage told me about...
(Aside) Around go, around go, round and around go! Go against the flow! Round and around go!

Lady Rose looks up at the windmill. The Horon Villagers were planning to build one of these, she thought before entering it.

" Urf!" grunts Sovelis, " I hate Watching this thing, always makes me dizzy..."

Looking to his right, Xokorn found an entrance of some sort. It looked weathered, like it could collapse at any given minute.

However, despite such corrupt thought, he entered.

Arrika shuts her eyes. "Gah, dizzy!" With a little smile on her face she starts to sing the Song of Storms. "Darn, that's too catchy. I can't stop!"

As the two adventurers round a corner of the mountainside, Lyos hears a barely audible “Whoa” from his side. Lyos smiled at his brother’s reaction to the huge structure that seemed to just spring up in front of them. He had probably never seen a building like this before, let alone one of this magnitude. The creaking of the windmill, the strange and entrancing music emanating from its seemingly hollow interior, it all sent Lyos spiraling into a frenzied reminiscence.
A few moments later he heard a couple of detached and slightly out of tune notes at his side. A few drops of rain splashed onto their faces, too closely timed with the attempt at the windmill’s song to be mere coincidence.
Whoa did you see that brother? Hurin exclaimed with wide eyes. Once again he tried to match the eerie notes coming from the windmill on his flute. While not perfect it was still enough to call down a few more droplets of water.
That’s very good Hurin. You’re improving. Lyos said with an extremely proud smile. Not many could elicit the songs magical response in so short a period of time, and to learn it by ear…
Here watch this. he said with smile of hidden amusement as he swung his theorbo around to playing position.
With that he broke into a beautiful rendition of the windmill’s theme, milking every retardando, sending chills up Hurin’s spine with every trill. And with every pluck of the strings, the wind picked up more an more speed, spinning the windmill faster and faster, whipping the travelers’ cloaks about their ankles.
Hey cut that out! a voice shouted from with in the windmill and so Lyos ended his mystical serenade. While the wind had stopped, the clouds had begun to look darker and darker with each passing second.
How’d you do that?! Hurin exclaimed with not less than utter amazement.
That song was taught to me by our grandfather many years ago, before you were born. He used to say that it brought good fortune for the crop in the months. It was only many years later that I discovered its mystical power over the weather. You should use it carefully brother. Many times the greatest things can caused the greatest detriment if used improperly.
Lyos felt a few drops of rain glance off his cheek as he finished his statement. He looked up to see that the wind had returned high in the sky and that the clouds were becoming increasingly ominous.
C’mon lets get inside before this gets ugly…
