Does anyone else think that she's even worse than Navi? Sure, Navi was annoying is spots ("This is how you open a door.") but at least she had personality and some honest connection with Link, and when she left it was rather affecting. Not Fi, though. She's an annoying monster of a companion, by far the worst Link has ever had. Navi only had a few "Let me teach you obvious things" moments, but Fi has many, and I've only just begun to play the game (at least I think). She's so cold too, and has no chemistry with Link. Oh, and if she says "I've calculated this to be ##% accurate" one more time I might just explode.

I kinda liked Fi tbh, I mean yea the whole calculation thing was annoying but she seemed to be more useful as the game progresses. Plus I like how she will tell you useful things if you get stuck, like hints or how the area is around you. I mean I can't really say she's not annoying, because she is, but her personality is very focused onto what she's supposed to be, a guide.

It's pretty clear that Fi is a base breaker. I, however, am one of the people who like her, but that's just one opinion.

Considering I'm a technical guy at heart, it was actually her vocabulary and her means of going into probabilistic measurements that made me think of her as freaking awesome within only the first five minutes of first meeting her.

I'll admit, I liked how she gave more detailed tips like giving you the option to remind you what you've already accomplished, what your current objectives are, stuff like that. I remember I was pretty annoyed with her whole __% thing in the beginning and the stuff about, "I have no further information about this enemy because this is your first time fighting it." was really stupid because, oh gee, if it's my first time fighting this enemy, then don't you think I'd need more insight than I would the second time fighting it?  :P

Of course, her whole percent probability thing has sort of become a meme in the Zelda fandom ("Master, there is a 99.9% chance that Ghirahim is gay", "Master, there is a 90% chance that this information is useless to you.", etc.) and the humour makes her a little less annoying.  ;)
