well? :)
I would love it. ;D
you have DS? :)
No, but I'm going to save up for one. ;D
yea! ;D i would LOVE IT and HUG IT all day! :-*
I wouldn't like it. I already have the remake on the GC, there's not enough buttons on the DS, the controlling of Link would be terrible, it doesn't have good enough graphics to play MM, remakes (especially if they're just re-releases) normally doesn't live up to the original, etc.
you tell that cuz you dont like remakes ;)
He does have a good point. The DS may not be able to match the graphics of the original. But I'm sure they can compensate for the lack of buttons.
super mario 64 ds it was not like the original... maybe there will be some new things in MM :(
hey, majoras mask for the DS would kick. Sure, samybe there'd be a lack of buttons, but im sure nintendo could use it's magic to make it all better ;D
i would so get Majoras mask for the DS..it was my favorite Zelda game
I don't know what to think of the idea.
It would be very interesting with the DS functionality however i think nintendo has been making to many remakes of games lately.
Really? like what? :o
I suppose Inferno has a point also. All of the Zelda games from the N64 down and had been re-released. I guess it's time for them to focus on new games. But I would still like to see what they would do if they did remake MM for the DS.
maybe they could add a fifth temple and more sidequests??
Quotemaybe they could add a fifth temple and more sidequests??
Yeah. So that it wouldn't be called an exact re-make. But yeah, there aren't enough buttons, and the graphics on all portable systems are pixelated. It just wouldn't feel right.
:-Xit would still be cool though :-X
Yeah, I agree. Nintendo would still compensate for the DS's lack of buttons, no doubt.
well, it dont have to be a copy of the game... just a little more different :)
However, they could fix some glitches the N64 version had in a DS version to make it more enjoyable
Or, if the glitch was cool, make it so it wouldn't harm the game. :)
YES that would be the answer!
I would like it if there wasn't a glitch in the game that would make it freeze whenever you move into a new area, much like the GameCube version.
You know how you select your items using the C buttons. Maybe your whole inventory could be displayed on the touch screen. That way, you could just select any item you want easily - and there would be enough buttons. ;D
Racoon, you are the genius of thsi topic...that is an excellent idea. but eexpanding on that, maybe there would be a little icon you press to access a map on the touch screen too ;D
we almost invent the game.. :)
We could pool togther our monaey and publish it!!! (i only have $50 :'()
Sorry. My monetary priority right now is buying stuff for college.
you have allways donuts :)
We can sell my junky tv for $100!
thats not enough :'(
We need more money to publish the game :'( :'(
;) aaaa... first, we haven't done the game...
but back on topic, i would definently get majoras mask DS
QuoteYou know how you select your items using the C buttons. Maybe your whole inventory could be displayed on the touch screen. That way, you could just select any item you want easily - and there would be enough buttons.
You'd need three hands if the C-buttons were to be on the touch screen. One to control Link, one to hold the stylus, and one to use the buttons on the other side of the touch screen.
What if you used the buttons for c, the croospad for Link, and the touchscreen for maps and setiing items to the c's? then you could have enough room.
You'd still need to talk, open doors, run, etc.
You could use R and L for opening and talking and any action commands. running would be executed by the crosspad.
What if they made different buttons for the game, and I would defeantly get it.
Quoterunning would be executed by the crosspad.
That's not possible. You'd simply just walk, like in SM64 DS.
Im lost.
what about these:
1. the action buttons will be on the touch screen
2. L-targeting: think it
enough? ;D
yea, that should work. Ok, so you can walk in the game and not run. ;)
>:(run of course, it will be not as Super mario 64 Ds >:(
Well if they Mario 64 for DS, what would make you think they wouldn't make Majoras Mask for DS.
;)first, you can run, second, a lot of new items, a bigger map, and more dungeons ;D
Sounds good! id get it as soon as possible!
yeah, right ;D
hmm...if we add extra dungeons, we'd need to switch around the storyline though...
